  2. I bought this 2018 (not my pic but exactly like mine) Frontier 4x4. Paid right at $30K for it brand new. It was one of the last of the 2nd generation models. One of the best vehicle purchases I've ever made. Not many frills but the V6 and drivetrain are pretty much bulletproof. I don't pull a lot of heavy stuff so it does what I need it to do. Gas mileage sucks though.
  3. No one suspects the spanish interruption
  4. Did their senator head to Mallorca?
  5. I can’t speak for how it was used in the film, but we would use that terminology any time it was appropriate to let the Iraqis know we were there (since we were primarily conducting reconnaissance missions, we’d usually be trying conceal our presence, or the size of our presence, and would want to warn away the curious). That might be a flare or any other force escalation necessary to deter closer inspection. Bear in mind, nothing moving over land is meant to be entirely unobserved so oftentimes it was about enforcing a safety barrier for Iraqis’ protection, too.
  6. Pablo Hmmm... is Pablo Vegas based out of Madrid these days?
  7. Plenty of great college QBs don't have NFL talent. Sam had a lot heart and grit, and that goes a long way in college as long as you have a decent skill set and don't make a ton of mistakes. Sam threw well enough, and was an asset in the run game. Quinn has the better arm and vision, but he had zero mobility (why did Sark call so many zone read type plays where everyone in the stadium knew Quinn would never keep it?), throws off his back foot, not a great deep threat, yada yada. I think the 2024 team would've had a better chance to win a championship with Sam at QB, but it's also possible Sam could've made mistakes that cost us a regular season game or two. Sark would prefer Quinn because he's so sure his system is brilliant and Quinn is a precision instrument he can plug into it. Sark's strategy and situational playcalling has to improve, no matter who plays QB.
  8. went to eeyore's on saturday for the first time in years. i expected it to have lost some of its weirdness but it was still fantastic. stayed long enough to have a couple beers, watch the costume contest, and do some great people watching. all of weird austin was still there getting high and hanging out. grateful dead was blasting from the stage PA between bands, and if you chose to buy a beer they were all local and only $7 for a 16oz pour. this old gray haired hippie lady was there with her goat that was ready to fight every dog in sight.
  9. * paralyzed
  10. I did not find it boring at all. It is so much better when there is no β€œbig one”. I think there were 17 lead changes on one lap.
  11. He's the Wizard of Loneliness
  12. This is so weird.....
  13. someone find out if she has any eligibility left.
  14. The reality is if you are aware enough in the moment to process that it's Marchment trying to sneak in a cheap shot, as long as you sell it, you are going to get the benefit of the doubt and Makar sure as hell did. If the roles are reversed on that play it's a no call or a Marchment embellishment only. Marchment has put himself in a shitty situation doing borderline crap all season and now costing him/Stars in the playoffs.
  15. Near Dark. A 1980s vampire movie. Bill Paxton has never really impressed me with his range, but damn was he good as an evil vampire in this flick. There is a disturbing scene where the vampires visit some rural roadhouse bar. Does not work out well for the patrons. Paxton was just fantastic in it. Not academy award type stuff, but a fun watch.
  16. Fun to think of the clubs that Wrexham will be a league above next year: Cardiff City Reading (probably) Wigan Bolton One of Hull City/Luton/Preston/Derby/Stoke

  18. The opening credits changed to only one figure at the end instead of two. Very Game of Thrones.
  19. Their grid operator, EL ERCOTO, was not available for comment.
  20. Last time I checked, around 25% of marriages experience an affair, and between 25% and 50% of those couples stay together, depending on the study. Most who stay together report a much closer relationship than before the infidelity occurred.
  21. We goin for a 2-piece and a biscuit?
  22. 192 this weekend. 30 lbs since I started. Two more pounds I’m gonna start weight training a bit instead of just cardio. Push-ups and chin ups were depressing with the extra 30 pounds. i’m hoping once I start weight training that my ancient metabolism will start sucking up a few more calories.
  23. Might wanna ask your wife about that.
  24. He's spent the last three months destroying the economy, making enemies of our allies, and generally doing everything he can to weaken us as much and as fast as possible. I guess he expected that to go over really well with everyone.
  25. Hate

    Andor

Like I said, maybe this series isn’t for you. There is nothing wrong with that. The Phantom Menace is on Disney Plus as well.
