Seems excessive, especially since multiple players received prank calls on draft night.

He could face both civil and criminal repercussions if he was drinking. Apparently they were returning from a dinner/event of some kind, so it is definitely possible that some drinks were had. If he was drunk and drove negligently, I can’t imagine the horror of knowing you killed your good friend. Lets hope nobody was drunk and this was just an unfortunate accident.

4 IP, 5 hits, 1 walk, 6K's, 2 ER's. 2 of the hits came after he would have been out of the inning. That wasn't a bad start outside of the 7 runs.

My life was derailed by a young piece of pussy. How many times in history has that occurred?

Longest Roman aqueduct was around 250 miles. Of course....material and land acquisition costs were a BIT lower (stone....and the empire just took shit). And you can't beat the labor costs -- slaves, fed a coupla bowls of gruel a day. No worries, though. I'm sure that there are folks in Texas leadership looking at how to "get rid of burdensome regulations" so we can follow the Roman model more closely. Infrastructure is expensive, but it's also an investment. And America, 2025....we don't do investment. We just treat everything as OPEX, and OPEX is bad, so don't spend any OPEX.

I might eat the shit out of that now, but as a kid it was revolting.

Brenham High School has a winning record at DF from when the high school semis and finals were played there. I think Abilene Cooper does too, and probably more. Maybe specify college teams and you have it. -
this is a great quote, but I’m not sure how many people will know about it because I would guess that most Trump fans are not reading the Wall Street Journal. Fortunately, Fox News has zeroed in on the important part, the “boom like no other.”

Hell, we’ve all seen news reports of people getting a DUI/DWI on fucking riding mowers.

Pasatiempo trip report! Had to go to Santa Cruz for my daughter’s roller derby tourney. Had heard excellent things but the price was exorbitant. Lucky for me, right after the Western Intercollegiate they close the course for four days for maintenance. After that, they offer a significant discount for the next 13 days. I paid $220 to walk and rent a push cart, normally would be $425. The GM assured me it would be very playable and it was indeed! Was cart path only as the main difference, which I didn’t care about. Greens had a light top dressing but rolled plenty pure. View from 1 tee with the bay in the background. Only a 440y par 4! Hit a decent drive but overdrew and had to punch under trees. Got down in 3 after that for a solid bogey. 3 tee. No prob just a par 3 playing 200+ uphill and into a breeze, surrounded by bunkers with flag tucked on a shelf in the very back. Hit driver and was just left and short of the left bunker. Hit a solid pitch that didn’t quite make the top shelf, came back down to 35 feet and sadly 3 putted. 8 tee with 9 and clubhouse in background. Good: made a sick up and down from the short left bunker. Bad: it was for double. Did have an easy par on 9, the only one of the day ooooof. 15 tee. Apparently McKenzie viewed this and 12 at Augusta as analogues. Came up in fried egg in short leftmost bunker. Hit an excellent out to 9 feet but missed. View from facing and beside 16 green, one of the most amazing and severe I’ve ever played. Would love to just chip and putt around on this for days. The rare closing par 3. Thinned my tee shot but jusssssst covered the bunker and released to the middle. Literally no idea how you stop it near the flag tho, had 12 feet back from front edge and couldn’t have done much better. 103, 7 fairways, 2 GIR, 38 putts. Currently have it as my #3 all time course. It was a SOB of a hilly walk, my app said I covered 32 flights. Had cramping on front of my leg just above my ankle that night. I can’t really justify $400+ anywhere but I’d drive a few hours just to play it again at $225 for sure.

Fortunately the oligarchs are all going to be okay. -
They just swept Clemson and took 2/3 from Louisville. Not exactly a team you want to match up with in the Supers as the overall #1.

Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
Brisketexan replied to MaybeACoordinator's topic in Daily Texan
It's not even that his material is that bad -- groan-inducing dad-joke type stuff can actually be funny and endearing. What it requires is SELF-AWARENESS. Of which he has....zero. If you crack a groan-inducing joke, but are looking around like you expect people to be wowed by how clever you are, then you just had a complete miss. Both the jokester and the audience HAVE TO BE IN ON THE JOKE TOGETHER. The joke is not "I wear a lot of hats." The joke is a self-aware person, knowing that is a TERRIBLE joke, telling it anyway. He is a loathsome, irredeemable human being, from top to bottom. -

If there was drinking involved could Elway be charged with something? I wont hold my breath for an answer. It is Surly.

Didn’t have as much confidence coming into the series against the Clips for obvious reasons and maybe one not so obvious one: Zubac plays Jokic better than anyone in the NBA. Thrilled to see aside from game 3 that we’re playing reasonably well with a Jokic more kept in check than we’re used to. At 3-2, life is good.

How old is the at graphic because it’s not accurate. I can speak to Portugal since my wife and I have been keep track of it since during COVID and the number shown for it isn’t anywhere close to accurate.

Next week should be nutso. My guess is just about everyone dies except obviously Andor, Mon, and Krennic. I still hold to my prediction that Syril flips to the rebellion, even if it's his last dying act.

Senior Citizen Issues - Assisting Your Parents

Sorry to hear that. The mental issues might have to do with electrolytes - salt, potassium, magnesium . . . especially since she fasted for so long. If my mothers electrolytes dropped too far or got to high, she would experience cognitive issues.
