  1. Past hour
  2. I'd buy a ranch in downtown Dallas, buy diamonds by the ton...
  3. Man that was fun as hell to watch. Trying to get some work done and now I am an hour behind, but totally worth it. So many gems in there. First reaction from me was the first minute or so in when it put up Long Ball Accuracy as one of his strengths. I was like - huh? But then they put up five passes of 30+ yards v. Alabama and you think well that's a good counter. Like that debate is going to get snuffed out in a Gruden hour long QB video. LOL. We've only been debating it for years on here. I think that the audible on the Blue run that Sark gave him credit for in the post-game was great to find out that it was a clear part of the game plan and not something that Ewers just magically audibled of his own to hit a huge play. I think Sark gave Quinn all the credit. I think one of the most interesting parts was Ewers discussing the benching v. Georgia. He obviously is still a little salty about it which is what you would expect/want from an NFL draft pick. The line about at Texas we don't run drawings was awesome. It shows his football IQ, the IQ of his receivers, and Quinn's understanding of his WR's IQ and ability to adjust. I am as hyped as a person could possibly be about the Arch years and what is about to come, but that video was a fantastic insight into the greatness of Quinn Ewers at the college level. Whether you love him/hate him, think he can throw the long ball or criticize his pocket presence, think he's going to be elite at the NFL level or flame out, or think Arch should have started all year - Quinn is a a very likeable guy. You can't help but root for the guy and give thanks for him giving it his all at Texas while he was here. Go prove all the haters (including myself at times) wrong Quinn.

  5. You mean Neal Tweedie right
  6. On one hand maybe so, on other hand all the money fleeing every crack and corner of the us system has to go somewhere.
  7. Today
  8. I’m partial to the Stanford vs Miami matchup. From the west side of The Bay to the southeast tip of the Florida schlong, now that is what conference rivalries are all about.
  9. There seemed to be a long time in the OT period without any stoppage in play. It just kept going and going, so after the game finished, I went back and tracked it. There was continuous play for 7 minutes 8 seconds in OT. From 12:30 remaining to 5:22 remaining when Bichsel took a helmet to the mouth, no whistles. While watching it, it seemed like about 3x to 4x as long as normal between whistles. Maybe longer. I checked the next stop and it was 3:56, so only 1 minute 26 seconds until the next whistle. Then the goal was at 2:16 (no matter what the clock said), so just 1 minute and 30 seconds. They took a minute or two to let the players rest while checking Bichsel’s face… probably so that the refs could catch their breaths more than the players. The fans needed a break as well, because being on pins & needles for that long is as draining as it is exhilarating.
  10. Literally can’t be separated anymore. Y’all good.
  11. How quickly you forgot about the self-cut JD sported to the donut shop.
  12. When is this happening, exactly?
  13. Okot (Mississippi State) transfers to Souf Carolina
  14. Miller likes to spread the floor and hoist 3s. To do that successfully it's helpful to have players that can make them. I know everyone wants a true point guard. I'm not sure it's in the cards for this upcoming season. Hope that Mark stays healthy. The goal was always to bring another combo guard in. This kid seems to fit the bill. If it's a Florida-Texas battle, that's pretty good company to be keeping. This is a roster being put together on the fly. I've said this before, but think of it as akin to Beard's first roster. Then hopefully we'll see things come together a little more completely in year 2. I'm assuming we're going to see a lot of evidence of a work in progress for next year's team. I also like the idea of beginning to develop relationships in international circles. But we haven't gotten the kid in yet, so we'll see what happens.
  15. I think athletic bigs like KD and Hakeem have a decided advantage against the edge cases such as Steph and Shaq. Against Steph on offense, they will just dominate the basket and if they miss, they will be playing volleyball by themselves. On defense, they can defend the basket and make him shoot from beyond 10 feet. Can Steph shoot >70% beyond the free throw line? Against Shaq, they have the range to shoot from middle range to pull Shaq away from the basket for an occasional drive. On the other hand, Shaq, starting his possession from beyond the 3-point line (I am assuming), can he consistently back his way to the basket without occasionally turning it over since he has no shooting range? KD/Hakeem have clear advantage against both types. MJ has athleticism, Lebron has strength and height, KD has reach and height and Hakeem has footwork and height. I chose MJ for sheer athleticism and KD for extending the range and defending the basket.
  16. You let Lott play whatever the fuck position he wants to play.
  17. Fuck Abby. all my hommies hate Abby
  18. I am watching a recording of NFL Live from Monday and this showed up on the TV… Apparently Quinn is still representing Ohio State.
  19. Same. I forgot where I was and jumped right in. My bad, surly.
  20. Nichushkin had the game on his stick several times in OT but Otter made some nice saves to keep him off the scoresheet. Desperation won that game for the Stars.
  21. So this is just basically Hegseth drunk texting
  22. We haven’t had a MAGA hair meltdown like this since Rudy’s hair-dye incident
  23. And the best part is that the staff won't slash the incoming class NIL $$ for red shirting and developing 👀
  24. Desperation is a powerful thing in playoff hockey.
  25. My shame know's no bounds.
