Love Surly Horns? Tell a friend!
  • so i was going to do a top 10, but there are so many, so this is ~10 i really liked, and then the rest that i liked enough to finish and remember for the purpose of this list.

note - this does not include shows i love like "last week tonight", "the circus", and "bob's burgers" (i like pretty much every episode of these).

    in no particular order:

    ted lasso

    wayne (technically 2019 but whatever)

    the mandalorian s2

    schitt's creek final season

    the queen's gambit

    dave

    the last dance

    central park

    mrs america

    ap bio s3

    the crown s4

    utopia

    the right stuff

    the comedy store (showtime doc)

here are the best of the rest:

hunters, quiz, better call saul s5, good place final season, dead to me s2, bojack horseman final season, the boys s2, the third day, high fidelity, briarpatch, away, perry mason, upload, tiger king, snowpiercer, white lines, little fires everywhere, the undoing, fargo s4, mcmillions, tehran, flight attendant.

i still want to watch "the great" and "alex ryder" and some assorted others.

Ted Lasso has no business being as good as it is.  But it is.

I stayed up until 3:30 the other morning binging the last three episodes. It’s just oddly satisfying and uplifting.

What We Do in the Shadows is strangely missing from this thread. My favorite show on TV.

Breeders - hilarious and dark. The grandparents are a riot.

Do three episode mini-series count?  Quiz, about the cheating scandal in Who Wants to be a Milionaire.

+1 for The Outsider.  Excellent show.

For me, Mandalorian S2 was just outstanding.  Top on the list.

Also, the last four episodes of season seven of the Clone Wars was excellent.

Any love for Expanse Season Five?  I know it just started and won't finish until next year so maybe a 2021 entry?

I saw lots of hype for The Morning Show with Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon. I have to agree, it was hype. Not my cup of tea. Sorkin's failed HBO show The Newsroom was better.

    loose vs lose.

    lead vs led.

    dominate vs dominant.

    anniston vs aniston.

    • Figured it was time to take a look at why we are struggling running vs Georgia. There are many reasons. Sometimes we just aren't physical enough and don't block through the whistle. We turn guys loose too early allowing them to get back in the play. Sometimes the bunch sets don't help as they bring too many defenders close to the ball that wouldn't otherwise be there. However, most of the time it's just simply players losing 1v1 battles or just missing their assignment not Georgia stacking the box to take away the run like SOME posters like to believe.

Below we are running our signature OZ. GEORGIA IS IN NICKEL DESPITE US HAVING TWO TIGHT ENDS ON THE FIELD(12 personnel). This is where Sarkisian's stubbornness is bare ass naked for all to see. We should spread Georgia out an run on them like other teams do. But no we make the distance shorter for them to get to the LOZ. Some of you have heard me say you cannot beat Georgia by playing in a phone booth. This play is an example of that. At the snap Juan Davis(81) come across the formation to cut off backside pursuit freeing Helm up to climb to the backside LB. The line is dancing to left. Majors climbs to the second level to find work. That would make for a nice hole but Conner gets whipped immediately and Wisner has to move on. The edge would've looked pretty good but Golden runs right past the nickel. Wisner sees it, cuts it up, and just tries to get what he can.

      “Culture + Talent = Dangerous”

This school has always had the talent part down. Anyone who’s ever been to Austin understands why talented people kind of naturally want to be here. But now that we have a culture to match it, I mean, that’s just really, really bad news for every other team in the nation.

We are back to where we belong. Playing for all the marbles.

      The Blueprint is there.

      Now it’s time to execute.

Go out there and get one for your brother.

      Sincerely,

      CJ
