  • Horrible bowl name, but the best matchup outside the NY6 (only one involving two ranked team). We're apparently favored by 1 point. Not sure why. Hubbard won't play. Tylan Wallace will play. Spencer Sanders is still a turnover machine. Gundy tends to let loose in meaningless bowl games so maybe we will actually have a decent offensive performance. Either way, hopefully it's a good mid-afternoon game before you guys throttle Colorado.

Miami players faking injuries. They are terrified of Big 12 defenses.

That miami qb is 6'4" and 190. He may get broken in half.

They played a bowl in Phoenix that was sponsored by cheez-it.  Don’t know if it’s the same one.

Sure. It looked like it buckled just before the hit. That's more of a September injury and not December.

That may have been the Cheese-Zit bowl, underwritten by Proactiv.

Is Summer Sanders really your best qb?

Not from what I’ve seen with the offense we found the most success with.  Illingworth is slow but more Rudolph/Weeden than Zac Robinson but we’ve mostly rolled with Sanders as Gundy wants to run instead of air raid it out like we did a decade ago winning the conference.

I've held out hope that Sanders would get better between the earholes, which is his problem, takes too long to decide to run or pass, takes too many sacks, and his interceptions are usually because of late passes or bad decisions. I've pretty much lost hope now. I hope Illingsworth gets a fair shake in the offseason.

Did this guy just say King may come back in the second half to play in this game?  No, he won't.  He won't risk his future for a cracker bowl.  If he does, he shouldn't get drafted due to incompetence.

He's rushing things now.  He hasn't settled down, he has sped up.  I don't know why he's rushing things because his accuracy is now off.

Guys don't announce that they're coming back for a covid super senior year if they're drawing much draft interest

I agree but add in that we haven’t had a Holgy or Monken to tell Gundy to shut up and color while OC.  The first quarter seemed to fit our personnel and stretched the field, but the 2nd was ‘ok we have a lead, let’s burn clock and get out of here...whaddya mean there’s 3 quarters left?’   For ages that’s been one of only two real critiques I have of the man...the other being management of starting quarterbacks.

If we go out trying every play in the book and lean on what’s working (passing game so far today for the most part), I’m ok with that.  If we play loose, run up the score, then try to burn clock before it’s even halftime then I get pissy.

True.  I also don't think he plays qb at the next level.  His best bet would be slot or scatback but this hurts that long shot.

Going forward, if you're Miami, would you look forward to a qb with two injuries to the same knee returning?  I'd move on.

    • Figured it was time to take a look at why we are struggling running vs Georgia. There are many reasons. Sometimes we just aren't physical enough and don't block through the whistle. We turn guys loose too early allowing them to get back in the play. Sometimes the bunch sets don't help as they bring too many defenders close to the ball that wouldn't otherwise be there. However, most of the time it's just simply players losing 1v1 battles or just missing their assignment not Georgia stacking the box to take away the run like SOME posters like to believe.

Below we are running our signature OZ. GEORGIA IS IN NICKEL DESPITE US HAVING TWO TIGHT ENDS ON THE FIELD(12 personnel). This is where Sarkisian's stubbornness is bare ass naked for all to see. We should spread Georgia out an run on them like other teams do. But no we make the distance shorter for them to get to the LOZ. Some of you have heard me say you cannot beat Georgia by playing in a phone booth. This play is an example of that. At the snap Juan Davis(81) come across the formation to cut off backside pursuit freeing Helm up to climb to the backside LB. The line is dancing to left. Majors climbs to the second level to find work. That would make for a nice hole but Conner gets whipped immediately and Wisner has to move on. The edge would've looked pretty good but Golden runs right past the nickel. Wisner sees it, cuts it up, and just tries to get what he can.

      “Culture + Talent = Dangerous”

This school has always had the talent part down. Anyone who’s ever been to Austin understands why talented people kind of naturally want to be here. But now that we have a culture to match it, I mean, that’s just really, really bad news for every other team in the nation.

We are back to where we belong. Playing for all the marbles.

      The Blueprint is there.

      Now it’s time to execute.

Go out there and get one for your brother.

      Sincerely,
