  6. Fuck off Tahoe. A few months into his presidency you were spouting bullshit about "now isn't the time to oppose Trump". Complete and utter pussy garbage. The time to oppose Trump from both inside and outside the GOP was the very second that fucking moron got elected. And now here we are. It's no surprise to anyone with a modicum of intelligence that the Trump administration turned out to be an unmitigated shitshow, and the outrage SHOULD be deafening from within the GOP. Curiously, the only sound we hear with your mouth stuffed full of donuts is the rhythmic slapping of Trump's FUPA as he continually violates your unlubed asshole. In actuality, you stupid rubes probably enjoy it as long as Trump does his part to keep the browns out of the country, and you retards can keep stockpiling guns/ammo.

  10. You know how mad you get when you see a woman stay with a serial wife-beater? He keeps breaking his promise to "never hit you again," every single week. And she says "but this is my home. And I can change him!" So she stays there. And gets beaten. Again and again. And even worse, she keeps the kids there. And they get beaten too. And she says, every single time, "I know that him hitting me is wrong, but in his heart, he's a good man!" Tahoe's that woman. Except he's a racist old fuck from Alabama. It's stupid enough that he's getting beaten like a rented mule, and just takes it. What's worse is, his enabling of this bullshittery (by continuous electoral support) means that the rest of us are getting beaten, too.

  13. Congrats! On one hand getting to go through the new baby process a second time, wiser and more experienced, was a wonderful thing...so much more enjoyable when I already knew the routine...plus it’s been great to watch the budding friendship between her (20 months) and my son (4.5yo). On the other hand I find life to be about 3x as challenging...she had a rough newborn phase (bad acid reflux), daycare expenses are more than double, we are now playing man-to-man instead of the easier zone defense, the routine has to be stricter during weekdays so we can do the 430-730 dinner/bath/bed on time with both of us being busy until 8 + have to get up at 5, etc. Sadly my parents are the hands off type with their own problems...her folks passed away when she was young...seems most of my friends have one set of parents you have to work to get involved and another set you have to work to keep from wanting the kids every single weekend. That’s part of my poor outlook right now because I only really get my wife fully relaxed if we get a hotel/take a trip without the kids, and that takes Normandy levels of planning whereas some of our friends have that option anytime they want it. Overall I love having two but catch myself dreaming of the days we had just one, nap time was a chance to get laid and we both weren’t so exhausted all the time as one was on kid duty while the other could chill/cook/clean. We’ve got infidelity, rocky marriages and divorce happening all around us right now so I’ve been more introspective and worrisome than normal...so I’m just trying to be the best dad I can while working on what I can control and being patient knowing life gets easier as they get older. Not that you asked for that tirade...when I see my son teaching my daughter how to use the slide at a park I just gotta smile.

  18. No, Tahoe, you’re describing bilateralism and you are emphatically not free trade, even though you may think you are. Fundamentally you agree with the president on how trade should work, you just don’t like the specifics of his trade policies. What you don’t seem to understand is that you’re just quibbling with details. It is axiomatic that bilateralism is inherently a restraint of trade and in many ways Americas leadership, the explosion of growth enabled by trade and the durable peace in the world following WWII are the result of the shift from bilateralism to multilateralism. And no, what you are describing is emphatically and thankfully is not the reality of today’s world. Things you likely take for granted, like payments clearing for example, don’t work in that world. What you describe is a regressive fantasy that will, if implemented in earnest, destroy one of the greatest achievements in the history of the human race: commerce as an instrument of peace and cooperation between nations. 20. Yeah, I planned a 4 day trip for a group of friends last August, and we went to Evan Williams. One thing you'll find as you start going to these places is that the tours are all generally the same. You learn how they make bourbon every time, drink a few tastings, then check out the gift shop and get going. Not saying they tours aren't worth it, but it's always great when you can find something different and unique, which Evan Williams' provides if you do their "Speakeasy" tour. They only give it twice a day, and you need to reserve tickets ahead of time, but it's worth it for something odd. The bartender is a character actor from the 1920's prohibition era, who talks to you about the "current events." He teaches you about the "Bottle In Bond" designation, talks about how bootlegger operations work, and pours 4 whiskey's along the way, including EW 18 year, something you don't get on the regular tour. You also get Pikesville rye, which is worth a try. It's worth the effort to make it if you can. Bulleit was a standard tour without much flare. Their bourbons generally aren't anything special, so not a big deal if you don't make it over there. Can't speak for Angel's Envy. If you want to copy my homework, here's my google spreadsheet of Bourbon Trail research for my trip. I like to plan out these things like I'm going to Napa on a winery tour, where I schedule and reserve all the good places weeks in advance. Our trip included a day of eclipse viewing in Franklin, so our schedule is a bit different than what you would be doing, but our Saturday schedule is something you could copy. Buffalo Trace/Woodford/Lexington/Four Roses in a single day is absolutely great. Copper and Kings is kind of unique since they do brandy as well as other liquor. It's easy to hit in the evening before dinner if you have time and are staying in Louisville. You can walk from there back towards downtown and hit some good food, bars and breweries on the way. You MUST go to Royal's Hot Chicken and get their hot chicken, it's the best spicy fried chicken I have had in my life, even better than Max's and Uchi's. If you need non-alcohol stuff to do, the Kentucky Derby was really cool. I highly recommend watching the video in the 360 theater. Mammoth Cave National Park was awesome too, but you need to get there before 4 to get on a cave tour. 25. Richardson's window at Texas is dwindling rapidly. It's clear that Texas targeted Catalon and Richardson this cycle while keeping the other options warm, but Texas has picked up the heat on Morris for a reason and more damaging is that one of the recent visitors to Texas is recruiting himself to the Texas staff hard, not unlike what we saw with Caden Sterns. He doesn't have Richardson's film and so it hasn't netted results yet, but he has a ton of physical tools and the longer it plays out the less chance Richardson will have to move to Texas. I also don't think this will be the only DB we see recruit himself to Texas this year. The more interesting thing for Richardson/Aggy is that OU may well lose out on Hill to Alabama. Jamal Morris is a wildcard and his decision is going to have a big effect on the next tier, he's been expected to pick OU but if he doesn't and OU misses out on Hill and Morris you have to think they'll go hard after Orji as a 2nd guy while they continue to chase and probably target Williams/Richardson hard core. TCU has only offered Williams, Hill, Catalon, Richardson, and Morris. They are going to have to start to pick up their evals but they seem to be waiting to see who blinks first from this group. TCU and OU hammering Williams and Richardson is going to be a fucking bloodbath for Aggy to work against.
