THIS! I'm out of rep for the next 24 hours or so, but my god we have the most repetitive group of Debbie Downers/Glums (from "Gulliver's Travels") that I've ever come in contact with in any of the couple of dozen countries I've visited. There should be a thread for repetitive pissing & moaning. You can post the first cunt-sobbing here, but all repeats (or slight variations) have to be posted on the cunt-sobbing thread. Take some fucking MIDOL and get a mani-pedi... and quit your fucking repetitive crying.9 points

JFC you’re dumb. Go sort this list for WRs and tell me which game-changing TX WR we’ve missed that would’ve changed our program besides Dez. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/friv/birthplaces.cgi?country=USA&state=TX its a pretty fucking barren list. Most of the highly drafted guys were Baylor WRs that wouldn’t have been nearly as successful here. theres a long list of reasons we’ve sucked ass for 8 years. Terrible QB and OL play are towards the top. Missing out on in-state WRs is not. If you’re gonna bitch constantly, at least don’t be a fucking moron about it.5 points

Maybe our WRs haven’t been balling out the past few years because of Gilbert > concussed Ash > Swoopes > Heard > Fr Buechele > Fr Ehlinger. This isn’t even considering OCs over that period. I hate you. Yes, you.4 points

knowing satya/sarva -- I'd say any, every, and ALL WRs that we offered or looked at in a camp that didn't sign with Texas. Bonus points if they ended up at Aggy. Dismayed at UT recruiting is his natural state.4 points

This is true, and frankly I don't understand how world class athletes smoke on a regular basis and maintain the lung health and capacity required for their jobs. Can you imagine these guys puffing away on Camels? I mean, many of the same carcinogens, irritants, and other lung-damaging toxins that tobacco has are in marijuana too. Including tar. I never enjoyed it, so I don't get it in the first place, but that part of it always seemed odd to me.4 points

I disagree. Trump's brand promise is defeating and humiliating tribal enemies regardless of the cost, regardless of ethics, or anything else. Winning fights is his brand. Midterm losses sufficient to lose the House in 2018 will wound and deflate the Trump coalition for that reason. However, if the house impeaches and the Senate doesn't convict, Democratic enthusiasm collapses and the GOP is galvanized. If the Bill Clinton impeachment demonstrated anything, it's that impeachment must be a bipartisan process with broad bipartisan consensus. FWIW I think removing a president for the first time in our history is too serious to be undertaken on a one-party basis. But even if I didn't, it's just not smart politics in this situation.3 points

1. We never met with Russians. 2. Well maybe we did meet with Russians, but not operatives of the Russian Government and just about adoptions. 3. Well maybe we did meet to talk about Russia providing our campaign Hillary dirt, but not operatives of the Russian Government. 4. Sure, they were operatives of the Russian Government, but they are only admitted operatives now because I'm so tough on Russia.3 points

My father passed away last month and I inherited his Rolex. Any Rolex experts know anything about this model? It was probably purchased in the 1980's. It is well-maintained, and he basically never wore it.2 points

Actually..... Slot 190 is about 160k signing bonus with 2.6 over 4 years..... Has to make the team though. He'll walk away with about 90-100k after taxes and paying his agency at a minimum and he's probably going to make the team unless he's terrible in camp which is another 520k for this year before taxes and agency. In this case, I would have probably recommended he come back and with a solid year, he could have perhaps improved his draft status by let's say 75-90 picks. The difference between slot 190 and let's say 115 is a signing bonus of about 680k and 3.1 over 4 years, so it's some cheese. But then you have to account that he's probably taking a year off his shelf life as a pro. It's not an open and shut case as there are a bunch of possible outcomes including injury and have a down year in college whereby he may not have been drafted at all......He can always come back and finish his degree. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/draft/ https://overthecap.com/draft/2 points

😂 Let's be 100 honest here. Most people are sheep. They're conformists. Sadly our education system has rewarded this & our society has as well. Colleges have ceased to be educational institutions and have now become 90% indoctrination centers. Look no further than UT...University of Texas to Treat Masculinity as a 'Mental Health' Issue - https://pjmedia.com/trending/university-of-texas-to-treat-masculinity-as-a-mental-health-issue/ What do you imagine would happen to a UT professor that came out and said that transgenders are mentally ill people in need of mental care...not gender reassignment surgery? 😯 Educated =/= smart anymore...'Educated' now = indoctrinated. Free thinking, open mindedness isn't allowed.2 points

For those who questioned Draymond's inclusion in SI and ESPN's Top 10 players list to begin the season, or think that he's just a product of Steph, I think tonight makes a pretty valid case. He has a triple-double as the starting center against AD, and has dominated a playoff game without scoring. He's the best, most intelligent, versatile, defensive player in the league, and that intelligence translates to the offensive side of the court as well. I think he's the best 2nd best player in the league (currently on a team where he gets to be 3rd best). Pair him with any of the true superstars--LeBron, KD, Steph, Harden, etc.--and you're going to win a shit ton of games. It hardly matters that he can't hit the broadside of a barn.2 points

Bingo. All the rational conservatives I know despise Trump for hijacking their party. Trump is not a conservative or even a Republican. He's just a con and a salesman. The fact that he's fooled roughly 60% of conservatives into supporting him shows that roughly 60% of conservatives are really fucking gullible.2 points

@Tall Dark And Texan I know how you feel on the job end. Last year I had 6 jobs in about that months. It was damn stressful and shitty. Now I have an okay paying job with pretty good benefits as well as working with my freind, so that helps me a lot. I hope you too also find really awesome job that you like. Congrats on staying off beer.2 points
