you motherfuckers are upset about a TexAgs report that they lead for a player? Those fucking guys know less than EJ AND are the biggest fucking homers on the fucking planet. Of course they lead for Wright via TexAgs. They still lead for Brandon Jones, Keondre Coburn, Moro Ojomo, DeMarvion Overshown, T'Vondre Sweat, Joseph Ossai .... hell, I think they lead for Malik Jefferson as well. Still. you get the fucking picture.12 points

Wish they would have shown what he tweeted after this one: "The culture of a MILF determines readiness more than any botox, foreplay, or size of rack. We are constantly on the lookout for gals that are great culture fits from the right husband. We've found that women who cheat on Jimbo Fisher consistently produce nice, parking lot-ready blowjobs."9 points

A few points on the topic: 1. Avenatti isn't the public's attorney, he's Stormy's. That is both a confirmation of your concern (that he might screw up Mueller's case, or at least the public's perception of it) and a defense of him (he has to prioritize to Stormy over America.) It's up to Mueller to keep him out of the way, either through legal action or by working with him. 2. His financial status is largely irrelevant. He wants to get paid. That'd be true if he has a few million in the red or in the black. I guess timeline might be an issue, but I would imagine most of creditors would assume that he's going to get paid, by someone, eventually. 3. His public trolling has been effective in his case. He has gotten Donald to respond, publicly. He has gotten Guiliani to respond publicly. Those responses appear to have helped his case. He laid down some serious bait on Friday, and the Dotard has remained silent to it. While I agree it's a bad idea to wrestle with the pig, Avenatti has proven to be an amazing pig wrestler. 4. I don't have to believe he's ultimately beneficial for the Mueller investigation to enjoy watching him work. I absolutely agree with the caution about lionizing him as some hero. But he's got some skills, and those are worth taking a moment to appreciate, while keeping them in their context. 5. While I do share the concern that he might either highlight something earlier than Mueller would like or claim something that might prove to be false, I think his impact on the process, so far, has been beneficial. He is able to make an aggressive anti-Trump, anti-Cohen case without shackles. Mueller says practically nothing at all and the Democrats say everything with an eye to their political impact. This guy gives no fucks. That gives him a lot of freedom.6 points

Look, it's easy to make fun of those fucking yokels and their blind homerism, but to pretend we're operating under the same situation as we were under Sumlin is some head-in-the-ground naivete. Jimbo is a better recruiter and a better coach than Sumlin. He's got the new car smell, can sell his National Championship, and those fuckers have begun playing by the SEC rules. They're actually a legitimate threat this year with a bunch of kids, and they will end up with a very good class. We'll get ours, and if our offense improves I think we'll get more guys than they do, but kids are seriously considering aggy this year.4 points

I believe a lot of this has to do with the importation of dispensationalism from England and it's infiltration of Evangelicals during the mid-nineteenth century in the U.S. What most people think of today as Evangelicals follow Dispensational theology, a theology that was picked up by some historical Evangelicals around a 150 years ago. With the rise of the Evangelical-Dispensationalists a separation between various Evangelical groups developed in the early twentieth century. At the time, it was a struggle between fundamentalists and Mainline Protestants which gave way to a new group, the modern day Evangelicals, which were just rebranded fundamentalists. They took the name and ran with it. To understand them, you need to understand the concepts behind Dispensationalism. The Evangelical name was basically a marketing scheme.3 points

If you look at actual stats, Dirk for his career has a PER of 22.6 and a VORP of 67.1 (top 20 all time). He also has 61.8 defensive win shares for his career which is 26th all time, not to mention 144.3 offensive win shares which is 6th all time. But yeah he’s just a scorer. This also excludes playoff stats where Dirk has some of the best performances of all time. if you hate mavs fans who think Dirk is an alltime great, that’s your problem dude. By the way, the PER and VORP stats compare similarly to the likes of Kobe (22.9 and 72.1)3 points

I think these two statements might be related a little. There's not enough a sample size of evidence, plus it's not like Kentucky winters are known for being brutal. They average a low of 20-25. Bourbon might age a bit faster in Texas because of the heat, but as for the contraction of the bourbon from the cold weather, since GB and Baclones have won some awards, it appears the 10 degree difference in climate is not that big of a deal. Also, lol at Garrison saying that shit to Smooth Ambler. The fact he had to say that shows how insecure he is and should be when he was selling garbage at $80 when his shit was too young. Maybe he should of sourced instead of shitting on his customer. As Greenspoint said, sourcing doesn't mean it's a bad bourbon. MGP, Heaven Hill, and whatever undisclosed distillery people use make good fucking bourbon. Also fuck the Kentucky bullshit mythology. There are great distillers in Kentucky, albeit mostly the Beam family (and no I don't just mean Jim Beam, then entire Beam family throughout history they have been master distillers at pretty much every single great distillery. Heaven Hill has never had a master distiller that wasn't a Beam. Four Roses, Makers' Mark, Early Times, have all had Beam distillers.) But none of these great distillers own shit anymore. The Shapira Family owns Heaven Hill, they were originally Jewish Department Store Owners. Japenese Suntory owns Jim Beam. Diageo, aka Guiness Beer, makes Bulleit, Blade & Bow, but they've been sourcing until recently. Brown-Forman started out as bottlers. They never made shit. They were the first to guarantee by bottling sourced bourbon so you could be sure there wasn't poison in it. Luxco sources from Heaven Hill. Four Roses is owned by Kirin, the Japanese beer company. I could go on and on.3 points

Trump is the best recruiter for the jihadists since Dubya. The Muslim Ban, dancing with the Saudi royals and fondling their orb, breaking America's word on the Iran deal and threatening further destabilization/possible war, killing the idea of a two state solution and essentially telling the Palestinians to go fuck themselves. That's not to mention participating in the slaughter in Yemen. He's guaranteeing that we'll be living with terrorism for the rest of our lives. And he's okay with that because they're an enemy he can use to advance his agenda.3 points

I live in Highland Park. Not exactly the slums, but I still pride myself in being a cheap bastard. I had to take action a few years ago when I noticed my wife would consistently spend $400 per week on groceries, mostly at Whole Foods and Tom Thumb. We are a family of 4 with two daughters, 6 and 4. Just to prove a point, I took over grocery shopping and was able to bring our bill below $100 every single week by shopping at Walmart and being cheap AF about what is bought. I try to avoid food that comes in "boxes and bags" - that's where the money is pissed away. I won't pay more than $1.99/lb for chicken breasts and the hamburger meat we buy is the cheapest chubb available (the meat tubes). If the wife has pleasured me in the past few days, she might get a few name brand items like dannon yogurt, otherwise there's a whole lot of Great Value brands. Absolutely nothing from the dreaded "cheese island" of expensive, wasteful cheeses are found in our home any more. Almond and/or Coconut milk....hahahaha NOPE, try Great Value 2% milk. Unrelated, but the other big win I had was to buy a $30 bidet attachment for my toilet. I get a much better cleanse and cut my toilet paper purchases tremendously. Plus the tingle from the bidet is a freebie.3 points

Wife wanted to make sure her glasses were clean since the last time she wore them she was sick with some sort of virus. She decided the best method to accomplish this was to put them in the microwave in one of our bottle sanitizing bags. Obviously they came out half melted and deformed. Obviously she missed the common sense course at Texas State.3 points

I’m so tired of hearing that bullshit. First of all Trump did not inherit a mess from Obama. That’s just complete Trump lies talk that Fox News chooses to believe and got him elected. Trump would have been a disaster had he actually inherited what Obama did. Trump is reaping the benefits from that administration.2 points

Finished pork shoulder. I got settled in last night around 220 degrees and was pretty consistent. When I woke up this morning the ambient temp had dropped to 164, but the meat was reading at 140 or so. I opened the grill up to move some coals around to rearrange them back into a pyramid of sorts. The temp climbed all the way up to around 300 and no amount of closing off the air worked before I needed it done so I had to settle with wrapping it and throwing it in the oven to finish it off. It was fucking delicious, but I think the spike ended up drying a little more of it out than usual. All in all it was some good practice and the mothers day guests seemed to love it.2 points
