  1. You know him and it is personal, we get it. Nonetheless, he is a fucking imbecile for claiming a top 3 that doesn’t include the school he is picking. That is pure aggie shit. I don’t give one motherfuck if he’s your bro, boy, lover, son or close confidante. Boo hoo all you want over it and take it personally. If you know him that well, educate him, not me. Walk him through what a douchebag acts like and then hold his behavior up to a fucking mirror.

  3. I’ve yet to hear anyone argue against immigration. The argument is that immigration should be done legally and judiciously. You make up the rest to be outraged. Congrats and Happy Birthday USA!

  4. A couple of interesting things for everybody. Do with it what you will. Cine - A new proud papa up in the Mass area looks like a strong reason why returning that way, loosely, to Penn State, makes sense. This isn’t a done deal, but it’s why PSU leads, no matter what a dumb fuck like EJ Holland tells his lemmings. Sanders - Texas has a legit shot here, so there’s been crazier shit happen, but guys like this usually sign with Bama or Georgia in the current atmosphere. McCoy - Players don’t love Helton. This is coming across to guys like McCoy. This is a guy who signs with USC in most cycles. Put your money on that being the case this cycle, but buy a lottery ticket flyer on Texas. Bama did not resonate. Taurean Carter - This guy is a take independent of anything else. He has a 79 inch wingspan at 6’1”. That’s not public but helps make him a low key, high value type that Fat Pattie has feasted on until Herman’s crew showed up. Oscar Frigging Giles needs to push here and close this. The Other Carter - This is a top 50 national prospect. He has a really, really bad guy in the nuclear family and, more or less, it makes him a guy that Texas will watch elsewhere. Things change, but while he’s interested, they’re really not. Wydermeyer - I don’t even know if I got his name right, but the Dickinson TE is a fucking stud. Our guys are good, but it’s sucks that this guy more or less wants to be an aggie. Shepherd - Free money for visits in the fall but there’s a great shot he winds up at Texas. Midlothian WR - It’s Langston Something - this guy is a higher priority target than anyone but Higgins and Wright. Higgins - Florida is probably the real problem. He and his family are from there. That’s all I remember. Fucking St. Arnold’s Art Car after margaritas dims memories, thankfully, but not doesn’t help this re-tell.

  5. There seems to be a misunderstanding of the Surly policy concerning Fuck Chip Brown. Please print out and keep these instructions with you at all times. I am keeping them vertically aligned, so they can be printed and affixed to the back of your smartphone. 1. Whenever referring to CowChip, always pair his name with the word, "fuck." Here are suggested sentence structures: Fuck Chip Brown. Chip Brown? Fuck him. (This is somewhat passive style, but is still effective at times.) FUCK Chip Brown. If you want to customize your expression, add a Oh, Fuck Chip Brown. Well, Fuck Chip Brown. (Note: the initial caps are not mandatory) 2. NEVER reprint a Fuck Chip Brown "authored" article. They are the most made-up, worthless and available pieces of crap in college sports, and that's saying a lot. Odds are even that CowChip wrote the reader's questions himself. Take a look at some of the "insights from that "article." "I’m told Oklahoma athletics, like Texas, is self-sufficient and even contributes money to the central university." Wow. Just like when they broke the Pentagon Papers. "I think UT’s ballyhooed 2018 class is already transitioning well based on the nine early enrollees we saw in the spring,..." Thank God we've got Sherlock Holmes on the case. 3. It's concerning that people have access to Fuck Chip Brown's articles. I assume that you actually subscribe to his website, but perhaps you do not. If you do, PLEASE cancel your subscription and encourage others to do the same, as so many patriots on this website have previously done. 4. If you see encounter Fuck Chip Brown in a supermarket or precinct, please share one of the following: "Are you Chip Brown? Fuck you!" (Points if you pause before delivering the coup de gras- he'll think he is being recognized for his "celebrity" status) "Fuck Chip Brown." I like it. It sounds a little crazy. "Hey, Chip Brown, fuck you!" Classic, American sentence structure. I apologize for the length of this post, but we have made much progress in exposing that fraudulent Quisling. (Look that name up, Millennials) Never forget that our strength comes from unity. Fuck Chip Brown!

  9. What blows my mind is the false EQUIVALENCE (look up the meaning of the word -- it's important). Does Fox News publish lies? Yes. Does CNN publish lies? Yes. Does that make them equivalent? Well, let's see. My leaky shower door seal causes my floors to get wet. Hurricane Harvey caused my floors to get wet. Therefore, I shouldn't bitch about the 3 feet of water Harvey sent into my house, because I was okay living with a leaky shower door. Or how about this: Slorch is a criminal (we know he has broken the speed limit and rolled through a stop sign or two). Kenneth McDuff was a criminal. THEREFORE, they are the same -- if I'm okay with Slorch coming over to my house, I should be okay with McDuff. Or, if I am NOT okay with McDuff coming over, I should also bar Slorch from my house. VOLUME matters. DEGREE matters. My wife lies to me. I'm positive. She sometimes tells me what I want to hear because it's the nice thing to do. She doesn't tell me about ALL the purses she buys, because she knows we'll argue about it. Therefore, according to the Slorch standard, where degree and volume don't matter, my wife is a lying bitch, and I should dump her. Right? Jesus. What the fuck happened to even simple logical reasoning? Fox news is a mouthpiece, apologist, and constant enabler for the administration, led by a man that that pussy libtard Charles Krauthammer called "a Vesuvius of mendacity." So, because some other news network -- ALL other networks -- sometimes ALSO post pieces of dubious veracity, they are the same. Volume and degree are meaningless concepts, and should not be considered when gauging trustworthiness. Tell me this simple fact, Slorch -- have you ever, in your entire life, told a lie? If you have, you'll understand if we all simply block you from now on, as you are a proven liar, everything you say is a lie, and you can't be trusted. Right?

  12. I wish I knew him better. He passed years ago, I was holding his hand on his last breath. He was one of those free spirit types: no fucks given. Didnt care about money at all, just his music. He actually played on my birthday in 86 at the hard rock in Dallas with Ron Wood. That was bad ass. (Wanst for me just a coincidence) Here is a great article about him and his life from a few years back. Read, dont read it, I don't care. But my uncle was a bad mother fucker. https://www.austinchronicle.com/daily/music/2011-02-24/mr-blue/

  14. We celebrate the Fourth of July because that's the day the Declaration of Independence was signed, 242 years ago. You might call July 4 America's birthday. The Declaration didn't just declare our independence from Britain; it vowed to create a government that respected all people's rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." It said nothing about patriotism. Or making America "great." America became great because the Declaration (and the Constitution that followed) set down rules that kept government small and out of the way. That let creative individuals flourish. When the Declaration was signed, the founders didn't know what America would look like. They knew, though, that they were sick of being bossed around by the British king, so they worried about government having too much power. Thomas Jefferson and his colleagues wrote the Declaration to assert that our "natural rights" could not be taken away by any government, and to set the stage for the creation of a government through which people could rule themselves. At the time, America was considered a backwater. Just a few years later, America had become the most prosperous, and probably the freest, country in the world. The Fourth of July is not about barbecues, fireworks, or even patriotism. It's about that idea: that people have the right to rule themselves. Ironically, government has grown so much since the founding that you might not even be able to buy fireworks where you live. In much of America they are now illegal because government officials have declared them to be too dangerous. Yet the Declaration and Constitution weren't written to make government provide for public safety. The founders assumed that was something adults would do for themselves. The founding documents are about freedom—about limiting what government can do. "Trust no man with too much government power," wrote Jefferson. "(B)ind them with the chains of the Constitution." It's good that the Declaration and Constitution have those "chains." No matter how insistent the state's busybodies get, they may not arbitrarily search our homes or jail us. We have a right to bear arms, to practice whatever religions we choose, to exercise free speech and more. Growing government has eroded some of our freedoms, but we still have more freedoms than most countries in the world. Consider the country we declared independence from, Great Britain. Authorities there recently locked up a man merely because he made a Facebook live video outside a courthouse. He wanted to draw attention to child abusers on trial, but Britain's government puts limits on what reporters may cover. England has no First Amendment. Some people who write critical things on Facebook or Twitter get visits from police. Great Britain also has no Second Amendment, and has far more restrictions on guns than we have. That hasn't stopped crime. London had more murders than New York City this spring. Now London's mayor wants "knife control." Really. One British police department even bragged about its "weapon sweep" that confiscated "scissors and pliers." But don't worry, tweeted the Regents Police Agency, they were "safely disposed and taken off the streets." I'm glad I live in America, where I can carry pliers around. And speak freely. Of course, the Constitution has more limits on government power than just the ones stated in the Bill of Rights. The Constitution divided government in ways meant to limit authoritarian politicians from any party. President Donald Trump's own Supreme Court nominee rebuked the man who appointed him, ruling that a Trump-advocated law making it easier to deport some immigrants was too vague. The Court stopped President Obama almost a hundred times. It's a good thing we have both the Declaration and the Constitution, with their curbs on power-grabs by presidents and legislators—curbs on judges, too. Unfortunately, those limits on government haven't exactly kept government small. Thomas Jefferson wanted "a wise and frugal government" that leaves people "free to regulate their own pursuits." Now we've got 180,000 pages of federal rules and $21 trillion in debt. Still, the Constitution and the Declaration have helped keep us mostly free. That's something to celebrate this Fourth of July. http://reason.com/archives/2018/07/04/a-reason-to-celebrate-this-fourth-of-jul/print

  17. My great-grandmother was born to peasant pig farmers in Eastern Europe. At 8 years old, she came to America on a boat. Her family lived in an immigrant neighborhood the townsfolk affectionately dubbed “Shit Town.” American families looked down on them. Some didn’t want them here. She did her best to fit in and profess her patriotism, to the point of overcompensation. Her sons were star college and pro athletes. They went on to run small businesses and build respected careers in public education. At least one served during WWII. Her grandkids include CEOs, engineers, and scientists. Her great-grandkids include lawyers, doctors, nurses, and businessmen. One of those great-grandkids just posted some anti-immigrant shit to Facebook, apparently forgetting that if not for America’s openness to immigration, he’d be slogging through pig shit in Poland today. God bless the USA.

In addition, Colombia put on the single greatest display of latin bitchassedness we've seen in this tournament to date. The moment an american ref walked on the pitch he was doomed, because central and south american teams go postal with the dna-ingrained belief they can pitch a fit in to getting what they want out of the ref. Old news.

One of North Korea’s nukes would be serving as his butt plug. The statue of liberty and all the Presidents on Mount Rushmore would be in the background, overlooking the scene and recoiling in horror. 36. 7 months ago today I was sitting in a "detox" against my will with a bunch of certifiable crazies. I was momentarily certifiable myself, it was ugly, I just didn't have the scars on my wrists to prove it. Alcohol is a cunning, baffling, and powerful motherfucker to say the least. I didn't get sober when I got out, but it was certainly almost bottom. I had to get myself fired a month later to finally give it up. You don't have to go through the hell I did to get out of it. I'm just strong willed and had to completely burn it all down. This wasn't my first rodeo. I knew that my drinking days were coming to an end. Thank God I made it out alive without doing and serious harm to others. I know holidays can be hard for the lonely, depressed, and hopeless. When I was at the end of my drinking I didn't get a lot of invites to do things and I was alone. I had plenty of friends and was fun to be around, until I wasn't. My thoughts were dark, life sucked and I isolated. If you're out there and reading this, it can and will get better if you do something different. The only thing scarier than making a change in my life was living with alone with my thoughts and the possibility of harming someone else. There is a different way to live and life gets better no matter how crazy that sounds. You're loved and there are a lot of people out there who've done what you have, some of us worse. Keep the faith, take some action to change when the thought occurs, and don't let that evil motherfucker win.
