  1. Just a few general observations: 1) This notion that the FBI is some left-wing cabal is mildly amusing. The FBI is probably the most Republican agency in the federal government. 2) Underlying this entire shit show is the notion that only Republicans should be able to investigate Republicans (I don't know if that rule works in reverse). There's no basis in our law for that rule, and no basis in our history or traditions for creating such a rule. If such a rule is to be imposed, do we think any malfeasance would ever be investigated in our team-first world? The Republicans' attempt to interpose such a rule speaks more of an intent to cover up than it does an intent to investigate anything legitimate. 3) That being said, the FBI--like Caesar's wife--must be above suspicion. By even giving a basis for suspicion, Strzok fucked up and was rightly removed from the investigation. He showed poor judgment in multiple ways, and Mueller needs people who exercise naught but good judgment.

  2. Let's play a game called "How transparent is Incredulity"? In Act I, he just asks a question on if Voter ID laws would help: Then multiple point out how stupid that question is for the obvious reason. Incredulity completely ignores his leading question being destroyed by logic and starts calling out EVIL LIBERALS. Then Incredulity later posts that we can't do anything about election integrity because THE EVIL LIBERALS will start calling names. Despite the fact that, you know, he was the one who started calling names. In short, he's very transparent.

  5. Well I'm a conservative and I know that voter ID laws will do absolutely nothing to help with this issue. The keys to not being followed with sanctimonious crap when proposing a solution as a conservative are: Actually be a conservative, not a mindless (R)bot. Propose a solution that has anything to do with the problem. Propose a solution that isn't mind-numbingly stupid and easily shown to be pointless. For example, one solution to our voter databases being hacked by foreign operatives is to indict the foreign operatives and then indict and convict any domestic co-conspirators. What is not a solution is saying that the first step in that process is window dressing at best. Such a statement merely reveals one's own prejudices and unwillingness to address the problem.

  6. Can we just take a moment to reflect on the sheer stupidity of the aggy who asked this question. High school coaches are suddenly going to change their proven, successful approach because... a short arsed coach for a cow college in the world's shittiest hick town runs a different system? As an aside, I can't wait to see the pro style, West Coach approach work as well for them as it did for old buddies Mack and Shawn Watson. Should be an absolute treat to watch.

  7. BTW, regarding my loathing of Holland, I’ve been clear with it here and on Shaggy. I called him out for being lazy with his takes and he hid behind a moderator tag and whined after we got into it on the thread and I handed him his head. He locked the thread and then started another one calling me names for being a meanie and not valuing his “work”, which more or less means I didn’t kiss his ass for shoddy work. He’s one of these chasers in life who mistakes doing a lot of shit for “hard work” which he conflates with actually being successful and adding value to the world. I’d happily go up with him here, in real life or wherever he doesn’t get to hide behind a fucking mod handle. That said, it is nice to know that I am currently taking up space in his head rent free. The dude he went to dinner with or whatever was apparently SLX, btw. For those who know us, we’re, umm, not quite in the same realm of behaviors or lifestyles.

  14. This is what the Democrats will do if they want to win seats. Call out and broadcast all the insults that GOP candidates hurled at Trump in national advertisements. Then call out those same GOP cowards for lacking the spine to stand up to Trump now. Well I don't know about winning seats, but I'd be entertained.

  16. The dipshits on here trying to bring back from the dead the old conservative reverence for the sanctity of marriage is like watching a doctor dig up a corpse and furiously perform CPR. It's a tacit admission they can't point to any action Strzok took that would undermine the investigation so they're going with the He-cheated-on-his-wife Hail Mary in defense of the president who beat and raped his first wife and cheated on all three.

  17. Occam's Razor actually says that Rosenstein and others involved with the investigation are doing their best to directly address the American people with facts at every turn when doing so will not hurt the investigation. Also that they're tired of all the stupid bullshit being flung about the investigation. And that is also supported by his actual statements: (Not using the jacked up quote function): "The indictment was returned today because prosecutors determined that the evidence was sufficient to present these allegations to a federal grand jury. Our analysis is based on the facts, the law, and Department of Justice policies. ... In my remarks, I have not identified the victims. When we confront foreign interference in American elections, it is important for us to avoid thinking politically as Republicans or Democrats and instead to think patriotically as Americans. Our response must not depend on who was victimized. ... The partisan warfare fueled by modern technology does not fairly reflect the grace and dignity of the American people. The blame for election interference belongs to the criminals who committed election interference. We need to work together to hold the perpetrators accountable, and keep moving forward to preserve our values, protect against future interference, and defend America."

  19. The indictment isn't an end. It's a means. It lets American folks know what Mueller knows....well, SOME of what he knows. Mueller has pumped some smoke into the structure. The play is not to get the folks he indicted. The play is to watch and see what the rats in the building do. Do they run? Do they call each other in a panic? Do they come to him, looking to make a deal? The indictment isn't a scoring play. It's a set-up play.

  21. QB - nothing to see here with Roschon locked in. RB - Main targets are Cain and Sanders. Cain is a battle between Texas, LSU, and Georiga right now, while everybody wants Sanders (but Alabama is the favorite). We'll get fall OVs from both. If we miss on both we might push for Glass out of Katy. WR - Higgins changes his mind weekly on what school he likes. Best case is that we get him to push his decision back from August and sell him on 2018 success and improved WR production. Marcus Washington likes Ohio State but he's supposed to visit Texas for the first time later this month. Dylan Wright will decide after the season, and he's pretty wide open right now. Other guys such as Jaylen Ellis and Langston Anderson are secondary targets for now. TE - we're done here. OL - Shepherd likes Texas but we have to recruit him all the way to signing day. After that it's a bit of a mystery. Other than maybe Andrew Coker (TCU commit), there's a good chance the rest of our OL commits have not been offered yet. DL - Taurean Carter decides in October as of right now; he likes Texas. Keep pushing for Leal. Hope that Jermaine Johnson pushes his decision back (but it's probably going to be Georgia regardless). Wait for late bloomers like last cycle. LB - also a bit of a mystery. There are a few good OOS guys who like Texas but we probably aren't leading with any of them right now - Tufono, Rian Davis, Cooper. Looks like we're going to wait on Gbenda's senior season before deciding to make a push. Also possible that we find some in-state guy with a decent projection, like Zach Zimos. DB - Catalon says he's deciding after the season. Cine still has fall OVs to take but we're in a decent spot right now. Noa Pola-Gates out of Arizona is visiting later this month but he likes Bama and Bama probably likes him. We're done at cornerback unless some elite guy like Stingley comes around. ATH - Bru McCoy has a spot until NSD and likes us quite a bit, but it's going to be tough to beat out USC. If Georgia doesn't prioritize Tongue and LSU decides not to offer (or waits too long), he's ours. We're taking 25 almost assuredly, possibly more.

  27. What's striking to me is how illogical the entire line of attack is. It's reasonable to say that Dems didn't take Russia seriously enough as a threat in 2012. It's absurd to argue, as Incredulity and others do, that Dems are as a result unjustified in taking them very seriously now, after they invaded Crimea and attacked us through this intelligence operation on our elections. And it's even more absurd to argue this in defense of the GOP not only taking Russia less seriously, but completely rolling over for them, after these events. It's also absurd to compare the Dems lack of concern over a virtually non-existent problem with people showing up at the polls to vote under someone else's name — particularly given the intended consequences of stringent voter ID laws on legitimate voter turnout — with Dems being concerned over actual evidence that Russia hacked systems that would allow them to unregister voters en masse. Different concerns, different evidence. But it's not about logic. It's about being happy that Russia has done these things to help their side and helping cover for them.

  28. An alternative is to try to get him to stay. OP grabs all the cash he can and buys up houses from neighbors who want to move away. When OP has all the extra houses he can handle, then get the Aggy neighbor to confront the crazy guy. Once crazy guy is off to prison, then OP buys crazy guy's house and maybe Aggy's too. One layer of fresh paint, then sell the lot to California tech weenies. Name one of your kids after me and retire on the profits.

  32. Strzok was correctly removed because of his poor judgement which created an appearance of bias with his texts on his work phone. What he did was stupid and careless. I spend at least a small to moderate amount of energy every day filtering my communication and the means through which I communicate through the role that I'm acting in. For a variety of reasons. And there's much, much less importance on not communicating inappropriately in my role as compared to someone in Strzok's role. What he did was fucking stupid, and because he did that, it was correct for him to be removed. The fact that he was having an affair is not relevant to the investigation, the fact that he was doing it with someone else at the FBI is concerning from a more... HR, conflict of interest, inappropriate consideration, etc perspective. Not incredibly relevant to the specific investigation, unless of course it can be shown that it impacted the investigation. And that's the only thing that's important - did his personal opinions about Trump influence the actions he took in the course of the investigation or other relevant investigations? I don't see that. He showed bad personal judgement and was talking about his personal opinions of the subject of an investigation on his work phone. Not appropriate. Removed. Ok. If this whole thing is about determining of Strzok is a good and wise dude, that seems pointless. If it's to discredit the investigation and the FBI in general, they didn't and couldn't get at anything to indicate that that would be warranted. It's fucking weak. But that's not the point because that's not how any of this works any more.

Those are Lovely English Summer roses by Lady Windsor Of London Décor in Zhengzhou, China. #3 recyclable plastic. When nothing but the finest will do. As evidenced by milady's discerning taste. I agree - just ties the room together. Whether shitting on the toilet or sipping a carbonated beverage, she's ready for either because the flowers keep it so fresh. Cursory check of the internet finds Lady Windsor Of London Décor is available exclusively at Dollar Tree, Dollar General and finer lumberyards and home improvement stores. Vase sold separately.

  38. Are you familiar with how alcohol works? There's a reason people ruin their lives and others with alcohol. And do so much crazy and stupid shit. It lowers your inhibitions and decision making skills. It doesn't matter if you are dirt poor or a millionaire. It causes you to make poor decisions after a certain amount. Drunk people are not thinking about calling a ride home or handing someone their keys. In fact, quite the opposite. They always claim to be great to drive and insist on it. Unless that person took an Uber or gets a DD before the night of drinking on the town begins, they are going to be dead set on driving home or wherever they may end up. I never got why so many after an alcohol related incident with a vehicle say "why didn't they just call a ride". Yeah, well, drunk people do dumb shit.
