I think the big problem with this whole situation is that we, as a country, are too dumb to comprehend what is actually happening. People hear "Trump is working with Russia" and they assume that situation has to be just like the movies: secret meetings, years of planning, code names, etc. Naturally, all of that seems too far-fetched, so they reject the entire premise. What is happening is much simpler to understand, but just as dangerous. Putin has zeroed in on how to manipulate Trump: flattery with a hint of intimidation, and Trump's natural instinct to push back when faced with criticism and never admit defeat has pushed him further into Russia's arms. The issue with this is that Trump is not smart enough to see through Putin's strategy, and now I genuinely believe that Trump thinks that Putin is acting in America's best interest, when literally every piece of evidence says otherwise. He doesn't think he's doing anything wrong because his brain cannot comprehend that he is being manipulated on this scale, therefore everything must be okay, which results in him doubling down. People hear the word "collusion" and assume it has to mean some sort of long, drawn out plan, but here it is simply a power-hungry imbecile who is too stupid to realize he is being played. That doesn't make it any less damaging, though.11 points

It's absolutely fucking ridiculous that we allowed this shitbag to even run for office without disclosing any personal financial information like the tax returns which are amazingly still "under audit".8 points

This was all just sad and depressing. Like if a new Texas football coach took the stage with Barry Switzer, and sucked him off while talking shit about Earl Campbell and Colt McCoy.8 points

Imagine holding a political opinion, realizing that the only other people who share that opinion are aggies, then thinking "yep, I'm definitely right."7 points

See, I absolutely loathe this line of thought. No, it's not the best I could have hoped for. The best I could have hoped for is that Trump would have woken from his feverish syphilitic dream and started to act like an American President. Fuck you for implying that those who are anti-Trump are rooting against him. That's straight up bullshit. I desperately want the man to start acting like he deserves the office he occupies.7 points

I don't want it back. aggy fucking ran away and behaved like a lying, little bitch every step of the way. They wanted to get away. They got their wish. They can live with it. (Oh, and their final memory should always be losing the final matchup to Case McCoy.)7 points

For some lighter news in “Donald Trump is a Fucking Walking, Talking Clown Show” - Apparently Queen Elizabeth subtly trolled the fuck out of him when they had their little tea party. She wore a brooch given to her as a personal gift from The Obamas. Not a gift from The United States government but from Barack and Michelle. She wore the same dress she wore to address Parliament after the Brexit vote. The Royal Press calls it her “I don’t care for this” dress. The dress in question was listed as “Democrat Blue” by her dressmaker.” The official palace photo was taken in the back hallway where she feeds her corgis. Note the dog bowl on a placemat by Dotard’s feet. I mean, just look at the difference in her face! I feel you, sister. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

Jesus, dude-lay off. RandomIdiot was fucking wrong. We've all been wrong from time to time. But to his credit he recognizes it and admits it. And that's better than most Trump supporters, who refuse to admit that they've been scammed by a treasonous snake-oil salesman. When a man acknowledges and owns up to his mistake, you shouldn't be a dick about it. You shrug your shoulders and move on. Welcome to the Resistance, RandomIdiot!6 points

We are angry that the President of the United States of America just sided with our main enemies over our CIA, FBI and NSA. We're mad because we like our country and we don't like traitorous behavior from it's leader. We're mad because a small segment of our population, like yourself, have been so brainwashed by your echo chambers that you don't have an issue with what happened today.6 points

There's too much other shit going on for me to rehash this debate. Here's what I wrote in March 2016 on the site that will not be named and to which I refuse to provide a link:6 points

I mean this with all sincerity..... Go fuck yourself. You don't have any fucking place to determine who does or does not love America, you piece of shit.6 points

It's funny really. My parents and Slorch live in the same suburb of Houston and if you spoke to them, you'd think roving gangs of MS-13 and ISIS were rounding up citizens, beheading them, stealing their hard-earned cookie cutter houses and soccer mom SUVs and raping their daughters while pillaging The Woodlands Mall and replacing all the Panera Breads in town with goat kabob and keema markets.6 points

When I said this last night, I didn’t know that Trump would take it to heart and roll over like a bitch so publicly for Putin this morning. I would have never thought in my lifetime I’d go from Reagan who stared down the Soviets, to a Republican President publicly blaming America for Russians trying to hack and influence our elections.6 points

Trump just took Putin's side and threw our Intelligence Agencies under the bus with the whole world watching. Any of you Trump cocksuckers that don't think this guy is a fucking traitor are too stupid to be in public.5 points

1. Make a stupid post that makes you seem like an idiot. 2. Get called out on it. 3. Say "I did that because the other side does it." 4. Fail to realize that Step #3 does not make you seem like less of an idiot even if it were true, which everyone can tell it's not. Sorry, no profit step.5 points

That quote has been mined every day for the last 18 months by Trump apologists. Russians kill journalist. [insert quote]. Russians kill British folks. [insert quote] Russians invade Crimea. [insert quote]. Russians are ID'd as the perps in election fraud. [insert quote]. Russians are indicted for election fraud. [insert quote]. President is ramrodded by Putin on national TV. [insert quote]. Every time it becomes increasingly clear that Trump is only acting in Trump's best interest even when it is directly adverse to the U.S.'s direct interest when it comes to Russia, that quote gets inserted. You are right. The Russians are not our friend. The Russians are the enemy. But: You will vote for Trump again. You put that quote out there to point out how ridiculous it is that someone could ignore the Russian threat. And you prepare yourself to vote for him again. Not just after we all suspected it to be true (during the campaign when your ignorance was a little excusable), but now that we know it is true. You're going to vote for him again despite watching him do this. And you use the quote to show someone else is naive?4 points

This is twice in two days you've owned yourself without realizing it. You're one of the worst trolls I've ever seen. You're like "Hornguy" on the HornFans recruiting board a decade ago but might actually be worse. Not in terms of upsetting people, but in terms of being terrible at your job.4 points

The Tower of Power™ is complete. The Alpha (JTM45) and the Omega (Astoria). The amp that started it all (and still a wonder) and the amps that contain everything Marshall learned in the intervening 60 years. I added a THD Hot Plate to the Twin Reverb, too, because I don't play in a stadium. (The Twin and the Fenders on the right are spaced out a bit more since this photo.) I'm running out of room, fam. the last thing on my list is to move the Super Champ into my son's room, and replace it with a Deluxe of some flavor. Turns out Sweetwater had some Stage 2 Rivera models made of the Custom Deluxe but are currently and indefinitely unavailable. They come up from time to time on Reverb, but at collector pricing. It'd be nice to cap the collection off with something like that. Otherwise, maybe an Alessandro or even a stock Custom. It probably depends on how good a deal I find on one or the other the quickest. Then I'm done! Maybe.4 points
