  1. Per Anwar (lol), Herman spoke poorly of them to NFL scouts before the draft. I’m not sure why a coach would speak poorly of several players that mentally checked out late in the season and skipped the bowl game. Weird.

  2. Honestly man, take your Chuckles Strong equivocating bullshit and the group of pussies whining about not being able to play for him versus Herman, and the whole of you can go get fucked. I’m so sick of reading this kind of Strong apologist bullshit. Charlie Strong fucking sucked at Texas. He made $25million doing it and the program was worse when he left than when he found it. Fuck him, you, and anyone else still rubbing their pussy in angst for him. You’ve been an equivocating bitch this whole thread. Deshon Elliott is a whiny, entitled sack of shit and he can fuck off associating to Texas in the future.

  4. DeShon played and contributed to 2 of the worst years in the history of the program and had basically no NFL future until Herman and Orlando arrived. He should be a little more thankful

  5. The last 8 year have made me into the most jaded asshole. Fuck this moral high ground be the bigger person bullshit, the last decade has been nothing but everyone shitting on Texas any chance they got. So I like Herman. Why? Because the dude is an asshole and if you want to play fuck-fuck games we will. Eat bag of gorilla shit mizzou we beat your sorry SEC-SEC-SEC ass.

  6. There are just so many facts about Hillary everyone conveniently neglects with the whole, “Hillary was a terrible candidate” narrative. 1. Nearly every single investigation into her was politically motivated and complete bullshit that produced no criminal charges. 2. She had at least two foreign governments running covert military operations against her and helping her opponent (Russia and Israel). 3. Objectively, she was qualified for the office. She possessed the education, demeanor, and experience to be POTUS. 4. As far as her character goes, look at the points in her career when she stuck her neck out for something, consequences be damned. (Healthcare, standing up to Putin, and China are just three off the top of my head). 5. What policy was she going to implement that would have destroyed the country or even harmed it? Not a damn thing. 6. The reason people hate Hillary is mostly because they’ve been conditioned over time to hate her for idiotic reasons that have nothing to do with her ability to govern. 7. But it’s the democrats fault for putting forth Hillary Clinton because half of America is too fucking stupid to see through all the bullshit about her.

  7. Well this thread has gone to shit. Can one of y'all debating education policy create a thread and move the discussion there? I don't need to filter through actual policy discussion when I'm really here to see what stupid thing the Dotard did next.

  8. Are you telling me that some upperclassmen didn't get along with the new coach that came in and was a total hard ass? No way guys. Just no way.

  9. This shouldn't be hard to understand. I'll explain it in pictures. Unite to toss out Trump as he is the biggest threat to the nation. Then after the threat is removed everyone proceeds to kick the shit out of each other.

  11. By the way, this is demonstrably wrong. In Michigan, Jill Stein got 50,700 votes. Clinton lost to Trump by only 11,612. In Pennsylvania, Jill Stein got 49,941 votes. Clinton lost to Trump by only 44,322. In Wisconsin, Jill Stein got 31,072 votes. Clinton lost to Trump by only 22,748. That doesn't even calculate the number of Bernie supporters who didn't vote at all (many of whom were encouraged to do so by the Russian hacks of the DNC's emails). So yes--contrary to your conclusion--Hillary absolutely did lose those states because of Jill Stein and/or the Bernie Bros. That is what your ideological "I'd rather have a Republican than an impure Democrat" mindset has wrought--baby jails, Muslim bans, and the demolition of the EPA. Look around, and enjoy.

  16. hi jane, you have cute toes. and you are riding coattails for clicks darlin. he was given real world advice, he weighed it against the needs of his family, and chose to go against that advice. what he declares to be bad-mouthing may in fact just be a recitation of the truth. getting advice about the reality of his career and life prospects that doesn't align with his familiy's need for money may be interpreted by him as bad-mouthing, when in reality he may be suffering from the cognitive dissonance of a set of facts and opinions held by others that do not support his world view. and that's fair. tweet it up. it tells recruits there's no BS on the 40. you get invited in to the family and you will be taken care of, but you have to earn your degree and your draft position and unlike mack no one (squints, cough cough) gets coddled or spun around. careful with that bitchassedness though, the network has a long memory.

  17. “The Thorpe Award finalist, UT’s first since 2009, had six interceptions last season but chose to skip the game to protect his draft status.” And protect it, he did. Gotta maintain that 6th round status.

  18. I swear all of Charlie’s players were mentally weak and coddled. Charlie coddled these dudes worse than Mack. Hey Deshon, you had one decent season on a barely bowl eligible team. You owe your success to the coach Herman and Orlando because prior to them, you couldn’t beat out a walk on. If this is how he reacts to criticism, he won’t last in the NFL. Regardless of their differences, you don’t air out your grievances publicly.

  22. this is really the key. @bad_teammate is worst teammate. seriously, dude, fuck you and your mother. you are on the precipice of getting EXACTLY what your party wants, and WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS, and you're all "nah, cool fuck these voters, eat shit, fake hipsters." seriously, do you not understand that your GREAT VICTORY is at hand? you may win over the voters you have wanted! these are the actual social liberal voters YOU WANT! here they are, asking for succor, and here you are all "fuck off, financial conservatives, because of your conservative polices" instead of saying, "come on n yall. we have our differences, but fuck this guy. we can talk about other shit later, but we agree on gay shit, and some other social shit, but we may disagree with some other shit, but let's all agree to CUT OUT THE FUCKING CANCER." but no. worst teammate cannot acept people under the tent. 27. Tom Herman just publicly called Poona Ford one of the three best DT's that he had ever been around. Poona went undrafted anyway. Herman does not owe Elliot jack shit. Kissing people's asses is how we wound up starting Case McCoy at quarterback for the University of Texas. If Elliot wants big money in the NFL then he needs to go earn it, just like Poona will.

  28. He's pissed that Herman motivated the team before the Missouri bowl game by bringing up the fact that they would be without the team's two leading tacklers because DeShon and Malik skipped the bowl game to keep from getting injured and having the injury affect their draft status. Herman said something to the effect of "If they don't want to be here, then to hell with them." DeShon is taking offense to Herman saying the team didn't need them. Which the team didn't.

  31. Are Deshon and Connor mad that the move to come out early was probably a bad decision and the staff is warning current players not to discount their advice? The draft ended up sort of supporting that position.
    5 points
  32. Newsflash to Malik, DeShon, Connor, Holton, and Warren: it's not badmouthing if Herman, Orlando, McKnight or any other member of the staff tells the NFL that you weren't ready mentally or physically for the NFL. You weren't. There wasn't a single one of them that couldn't have helped himself with another season. Dicko is the exception and I'd bet "behind closed doors" the Texas staff didn't "talk shit" about them.
    5 points
  33. I doubt Herman would do so considering before the draft, he had his entire media department promote Deshon, Connor, Malik, etc. Herman probably told the scouts the truth about their attitudes and mental weakness. These are the same guys that let walkons from Kansas beat them and then we watched them throw a temper-tantrum and cry on the field.

  35. How long until we get the Charlie days out of the program?....the amount of player drama and "us vs them" attitude if really getting old at this point. "If you really “loved” your players the way you portray then you wouldn’t continually talk bad about them behind closed doors."... If you really "loved" your school and former teammates the way you said you did then why would you publicly come out and say something to hurt them?

  36. Look, libs need to persuade people with their ideas, not structure the system to eliminate competition to those ideas. I welcome Republican refugees and view this as an opportunity to convince some of them to move left over time. If we don't get enough of them to win long term, we need to work on our ideas or our arguments.
