  1. Kawhi, I have thought about it for less than two seconds trying to figure out the right things to say, and it comes down to two simple words: FUCK YOU! Every Spurs fan wants to say FUCK YOU to way you treated the entire Spurs organization and the people and fans of San Antonio. You gave a giant FUCK YOU to every one of your teammates who helped you over your seven years in the NBA. You didn't even have the decency to sit on the bench to support them during the playoffs. Despite everything he's done to support your growth and guide you, you gave a giant FUCK YOU to Pop by not even meeting him face to face, one on one. And don't forget the FUCK YOU to the fans! There is not a more passionate or dedicated fan base than what I’ve witnessed in San Antonio and you took a giant shit all over them. Season ticket holders paid handsomely to watch you take a $20 million dollar paid vacation with your fake injury while you were incapable of even the absolute minimum amount of communication. Through all the ups and downs – and every single up is now tainted by your selfish and mind boggling behavior – I’ll never forget the embarrassing and unprofessional manner you treated a first class organization. While I’m looking forward to the next chapter in the Spurs rich and storied history, I’ll always remember the way you and your fuckhead uncle acted like the half witted amateurs that you are. I hope you get frostbite and that your fake injury never heals! FUCK YOU! – Mitch Cumsteen

  2. Fucking this. All these god damn nerds in there moms basements criticizing the coaches when they haven't ever even stepped on the field before. Guys like you and me (2A 3rd team all district long snapper 1983) know to trust what the coaches are doing. UT is the biggest athletic department in the country, you think we'd hire coaches that don't know what there doing? Heck no. I actually think it's kind of sad how worked up all these keyboard jockeys get over all this when guys like you and me know that the coaches have everything going exactly according to plan.

  3. Tomorrow is my two week anniversary of posting images in this beautiful place. I've been doing it to entertain all of you and myself and I'm really enjoying it. Most of my images poke fun at Aggy and others and I hoped you've enjoyed at least some of them. But I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't believe that Texas Football is once again a source of pride for all of us. Get on board. Hook 'em.

  4. And I no, no politics on the recruiting board, but this is technically football related, don't you think Trump would be a great college football coach? Look at how great he has made this country, I think he could do the same for college football. Guys like us (me, you, and Trump) don't need any of this PC look at me bullshit, we just get things done. Sorry, back to football you snowflakes. (But seriously, DM me if you want to keep talking about Trump as a football coach. Imagine how triggered all the libs would get when he kicks every player who kneels off his team and then wins the national championship with an all white team.)

  5. why anyone engages with onboard is beyond me. he's a bomb thrower with no interest in stretching his brain in these discussions. his goal is to minimize those with a certain political bent, while never taking a positive stance on their opposition. in other words, he voted for gary johnson.

  8. It’s pretty amusing. I suppose chemical plants should be allowed to dump toxic waste in our drinking water and be unhindered from government regulation because “free market!” Those authoritarian laws that protect people from harm are so oppressive.

  11. God dammit. This is the real stuff right here. I wish I could come up with takes this good. I totally missed the "if you are so smart why aren't you a coach" angle. That's message board shit posting 101. I gotta step my game up if I'm going to try and compete with the best. Thank you for your service.

  13. This is what the Boomers have always done. Started off on 2nd, expected people to sacrifice to get them to home, then wanted to take all the glory for themselves. I've watched the ladder get pulled up right behind me several times in my life and the only reason I was on the right side of the ladder afterwards is because I could climb a little bit faster than they could pull it up. I'm sure there are 100's of cases where I missed the ladder altogether. The sooner we can get those fuckers out of power, the better off we're all going to be.

  17. This is a bizarre post, and the sentiment is confusing. "Oh shit, SydneyCarton would suck as a coach and the internet would hate him, HA HA HA!" Maybe? Who gives a shit. What a sick fucking burn. Man, it's fucking hilarious to think how many times HtownHorn would have been divorced by any self respecting woman who actually likes to experience orgasms by now, or how much shit would be talked about by his neighbors about his inability to to do anything right as a "man." The above statement makes about as much sense and has about as much bearing on this thread or the topic of idiot coaches or idiot posters as the one you made above. You know what else I'd suck at? Being a doctor. I didn't go to school for it, I don't have an experience doing it, and if I attempted it I'd probably get slapped with malpractice and sued after I killed someone. But you know what? I don't need to have a medical degree to expect MY doctor to not suck shit through a straw and show up drunk on the day of surgery, slap my wife's ass, and make make a clown of themselves. Which would be a pretty accurate metaphor for Drew Mehringer as a football coach except I doubt he's that much fun at parties.

  19. You're the biggest beating on this thread. You're the loudest remaining buffoon who refuses to see the forest for the trees in regards to any possible criticism of a coaching staff. The good news is that on the football thread there's 50 more of you, while only a handful here. Don't you have a South Florida fan site you can go post on?

  20. The internets gave stupid people a forum they never had before and they gave them inroads into what was previously space that I controlled. They are in my face. I'm still thinking the free market will fix this problem. It's my responsibility to police the media I expose myself to. 1)Block out media outlets that don't try to provide accurate information. 2) Remember to counter your own biases by finding at least one "counter" forum you trust or can tolerate. 3) Limit your daily intake of current news to some reasonable amount less than an hour a day.

  22. It’s mind boggling what’s going on. The Russians are clearly meddling and we have members of our govt traveling there to kiss their ass. If you’re not in awe of how crazy this mess is...you’re the deranged one. And to be clear I don’t think there’s a vast conspiracy. The president is an unwitting stooge at the least. Probably got some sweet cash from the rooskies in his real estate deals. Not a true quid pro quo. Still fascinating.

  27. Number of attacks launched at us FROM space, or launched at our assets IN space: none. RESPONSE: obviously, we need to create an entire branch of the military to handle the threat. Number of cyber attacks launched on our election apparatus in just the past few years: too many to count. RESPONSE: a 30 minute meeting at the White House. No funding or material action by Congress. Makes perfect sense. We are going to put in more of an effort preparing to fight off imaginary space attacks than to actually fight ongoing cyber attacks. This makes sense. This is fine.

  29. In Corpus for the week. Last night, we went to a steakhouse for dinner. Ordered drinks and appetizer. Wife says she needs more time to look at the menu. The appetizer is out and wife is still trying to decide. Waiter asks her preferences so he can try to make a suggestion. Me: Based on your usual likes, you probably want the 8-oz filet. Her: (tosses the menu down) I don't know why I even have a menu if you're going to order for me. Me: I'm not ordering for you. I'm offering a suggestion based on past history. Her: Tone. Me: (to waiter) Come back in a bit. (to her) Make a decision. She picks up the menu and starts looking. 5 minutes later the waiter is back and she's ready to order. Her: I'll have the 8-oz filet. You should have seen the look on the waiter's face. I've been through this enough times that I didn't even roll my eyes.

  30. My parents had friends who did this when I was younger. The family had three kids. The two oldest kids were setting setting the world on fire. The third kid was lucky if he just showed up. Huge paragraphs on the two stars and then a single sentence about child number three joining the band and moving from 7th chair trombone to 6th chair trombone. Pretentious funny reads. Then one year we received the letter and it started out "Well, Jim left me this year..." It was the best one, and last one, ever.

  32. A buddy of mine owns a painting company. He has a group of Hondurans that are damn good painters. Basically, his whole crew is a bunch of brothers and cousins. They were repainting the exterior of a house in Pemberton Heights. Nice house. Big house. Lots of wood siding with tons of sanding. Homeowners are gone to work and his guys are working away outside. I guess one of them had to shit and couldn't hold it, so he bowed up in the corner of the backyard, then went back to work. The family dog proceeds to come out through the dog door while half the guys are in the front and the other half are up on ladders. The dog is nosing around in the backyard, then decides to take a nice roll in some fresh Honduran man-shit. The lead guy is up on a ladder and sees the events unfolding. He hurries down just as the dog re-enter the house through the dog door. Too late. Doors are locked. Dog door is too small to squeeze through. They watch through the window as the dog decides to continue his rolling escapade on the rug. And the furniture. And rub against the curtains. Shit everywhere. They call my buddy, he thinks it's a joke and soon realizes they aren't fucking around. There's a dog going hog-wild in the house rubbing human feces all over the furniture. He had no other choice than to bite the bullet and call the homeowner, have the entire house steam cleaned and knock half off the paint job and beg them not to trash him on social media. As a contractor, that's why I include "sanitation services" as a line item for every single project that lasts longer than a day. $120 for a month's rental on a shitter is good insurance for not cleaning party mud off of Suzie Q Homeowner's sofa.

  36. Drew Mehringer decided to make an example of Collin Johnson last year because he apparently, in Mehringer's world, got too full of himself and wasn't "aligned". Being buddies with Foreman didn't help him. The WR unit got the worst of the 2017 coaching premise that they were going to beat the shit out of the team until the entitlement wore away. The side effects of that approach included Hemphill-Mapps getting completely disenfranchised and randomly suspended on multiple occasions to the point where he checked out from attending classes by November; Devin Duvernay negging the program to recruits on official visits; and Collin Johnson losing track of which way was up and not knowing where the next kick to his crotch was coming from by the staff. The near total team revolt ahead of the Texas Bowl was a wake up to many on the staff, including Herman. Some lessons were learned, but not all of them. During film session with WR recruits and their dads this spring, allegedly, Mehringer made a point of talking shit about the existing talent, including Johnson, to the tune of turning the families off completely, or damn near so. I'm interested in seeing whether the coaches have improved on their personnel choices on offense this year. Last year was a fucking joke in term of selecting personnel. The number of empty sets in which we slotted out a non-functioning TE instead of rotating in another WR was astonishing. The amount of carries and snaps Kyle Porter received because he had "the right attitude" sent the message to everyone, fans included, that the best players won't often play. Naashon Hughes doing nothing for hours on the field while others rode pine. Taking forever to get Gary Johnson steadily on the field. The WR rotation overall was a fucking joke. I keep waiting to see Kyle Porter start creeping up the depth chart due to some amorphous notion associated to team spirit or "picking up the rush", which were used last year, even as he often failed to pick up the rush. If that dude remains 5th on the depth chart, and we hear about freshman getting 1st and 2nd team snaps on offense all over the field right up to Maryland, I'll start to think maybe we turned a corner.
