  1. Wow. What a classless piece of shit to throw a college student under the bus like that. Fucking child. Say whatever you want about Tom, but you are a grown ass man. Keep Kyle Porter’s name out of your mouth. All that kid does is exactly what is asked of him. Fuck you for taking a shot at the kid for your 15 mins of relevance. Go fuck yourself Mr Foreman, and keep living vicariously through your sons. Oh yeah, Kyle managed to go to class and stay eligible as well. Something Chris couldn’t be bothered with. The difference? Starts at home.....

  3. Republicans have been the party of fiscal irresponsibility for the last 40 years. Democrats have been more fiscally responsible over that same period of time and its not even close. I really dont care if someone is a Democrat or Republican. I want their policies to be responsible. I want their policies to follow the same advice that they would give their children. I want their policies to follow the same advice that they would give to a poor person asking how to get ahead in life. I want their policies to follow the same advice that they would follow running their own business. This isnt hard. Republicans sold out our country a long time ago to large corporations and the wealthiest, and while doing so, have incited fear by relying on tired slogans invoking LBJ's ghost in the name of every Democrat. It's over. It's done. Every single time the Republicans get in control of the WH and Congress they go on a huge spending splurge while massively cutting revenue. It is fiscal insanity. It is a literal money grab every single time. They are not principled. They are not responsible. They are dangerous to our Nation. And they should be voted out until they become responsible and start following sound, reasonable economic sense. The best part of Beto winning will be that it will make both parties pay attention to Texas. I am tired of the parties pandering to the plains states and the midwest. I would love to see California and NY become important to both parties too. The fact that every vote for Beto will count will lead to a huge turnout. There are a lot of liberals, progressives and left-leaning moderates who do not vote because they know in national elections their vote won't matter and in local elections their vote has been gerrymandered into nothing. I think Beto will inspire every single one of those voters to vote. Beto is going to win.

  7. As Bozo stated, there is real strategic value to Beto based on him putting Texas in play. Making conservatives spend money, people, and time on a Texas senate race only hurts republicans elsewhere. The bigger picture is that turning Texas purple means the same for presidential races. Even if Texas continues to end up in the republican column, making the Republican candidate fight it out and spend money/time here is a game changer. There are four major cities and expensive media markets to juggle. Of course, if Texas flips, there is no way to make the electoral college work other than blue. All of that is why there is so much more at stake in this election than a senate seat. It’s not as much to see if Beto will win as it’s to see if it’s possible for Texas to be purple in the near future and start the domino effect. I’ll be bummed if Cruz wins by 1 or 2, but I will also know that we are close. Real close. The first domino will have fallen and the rest are inevitable.

  8. Oatmeal - I’ll repeat a couple of things I’ve said on this thread for your benefit. 1) ideology aside, Ted Cruz is a bad senator. He’s mostly been running for President for 6 years and is essentially worthless from a constituent services perspective, which is the most important job a Senator has, so 2) he’s being outraised and generates little enthusiasm. That’s not just because Beto is overperforming, but because Republican donors and business people are tired of Ted Cruz’s schtick. As a result 3) This is a close race. You apparently don’t follow politics, but this whole beta/cuck/manlet/Middle-aged woman stuff makes your sound like you are deeply insecure, short and sexually frustrated in addition to not actually knowing why you support Cruz, by your own admission. But either way, this really isn’t about whether Beto wins. Cruz’s weakness and Beto’s relative strength and remarkable small donor fund raising prowess is causing a major resource drain on swing races. That’s the strategic value of Beto O’Rourke, win or lose. #realtalk

  9. edit no longer an option so quoting myself... and the kicker is that this is redistribution of wealth from the middle and lower classes to the upper class and corporations. it is corporate and social welfare for those who need it least. it is a handout. it is maddening that they will blatantly do this for corporations and the wealthiest dressed up in the name of economic stimulus and trickle down but will criticize and rail against any attempts to redistribute to the middle and lower classes, the ones who actually need it, as entitlements, socialism and handouts to those dirty, stinking, lazy poor people who refuse to take personal responsibility. In other words, if it redistributes to the wealthiest, well that is just capitalism at its finest but if it goes to the people who actually need it, well that is socialism and communism and lack of personal responsibility. never mind that the definition and concept of socialism is completely lost and misunderstood by these people. unfortunately, the Republicans have convinced all of the rubes that any government program that gives money to people who need it is socialism and not part of a democratic - capitalistic society, and that could not be further from the truth. i am ready for candidates like Beto to restore responsibility in politics. i hope there are many more who follow after him.

  12. This really says it all about cable news beating something to death. It's depressing to see such an accurate graphic. How many anchors and how many different panels of experts kept opining on the impact Omarosa on consecutive shows? It's lazy and vain. It's easy to round up the usual suspects (more color if there is an African American aspect!) to talk it to death. It's pure vanity to think your own analysis is essential for the poor dumb viewers to watch. Go find some fucking news. Is there a Pentagon boondoggle to expose? Anybody updated how vulnerable our ports are and what we're doing about it?

  13. “Perjury Trap” is the craziest shit I’ve ever heard. Like it’s some nefarious ambush tactic to ask questions and expect and honest answer. You know how to easily avoid a perjury trap? Don’t. Fucking. Lie. It’s that easy. “Perjury Trap” is just liar speak for “Donald Trump is incapable of not lying.”

Not off-topic at all, since 1939 connects us to the only non-fictional Aggy championship season.* They'll be celebrating the achievement, along with their championship trophy that they've already presented to Jimbo, with this commemorative jersey. *They also claim to have won national championships in 1927 and 1919, although no one outside of the Station can understand why.

  17. Somehow I feel like you yelled and threw shit when Vince came into the games as a sophomore. You probably yelled and threw shit when he beat out your boy Chance Mock. You probably yelled and threw shit on 4th and 5 because Vince missed a read you are certain Mock would have made. You probably yell and throw shit now because you can't figure out why Chance only has 30 followers and 29 family members on twitter. You probably yelled and threw shit when GDGD kept calling the same crossing route to Shipley in the 08 RRSO. You certainly yelled and threw shit when they flew the banner over the stadium. I bet you yelled and threw shit when Red got bad press on the Strong hire, because you sure as shit yelled and threw shit when your boy Sanduski got busted. In other words, go fuck yourself and the front running horse you rode in on.

  18. Your thinking of the Satanic Temple. The Church of Satan is LaVeyan satanism which has some pretty fucked up beliefs. I'll also point out that Donald Trump is the epitome of LeVayan Satanism. Anyone that is concerned about the satanic statue in Arkansas should take a moment and contemplate that their President is the living embodiment of the tenets of the Church of Satan.

  19. Warren's best games: '15 Baylor (75th in S&P+ defense), '15 Texas Tech (124th in S&P + defense), '16 UTEP (123rd in S&P+ defense), '16 California (106th in S&P + defense), '16 Oklahoma State (66th in S&P + defense), '17 San Jose State (117th in S&P + defense). Warren didn't have any other games with over 50 yards rushing or multiple touchdowns. Oklahoma State was probably the only defense he produced against that was a semi-decent defense at 66th in S&P + . But they were shit against the run at 88th in rushing defense. That pretty much sums up Warren's career at Texas (under Herman and Strong). Produced a few good games against shit defenses and was a no show against any defense that had a pulse.

  24. If you remember, his dad ripped Strong on twitter and of course, he didn’t like Herman. A family friend of mine has a son who graduated a couple seasons ago and he said Warren was toxic in the locker room (Always badmouthing position coaches). He wanted to transfer to USF so badly and he couldn’t even sniff the transfer requirements. That’s sad. Like Newy25 said, terrible mental eval.

That has to be the dullest qualifier in our cultural argot. He just embarrassed the hell out of his country. As said above, the men who work for the hotel showed remarkable restraint. I'm glad the fuckhead got arrested. Lastly, good works don't wipe away wicked acts. I congratulate Christians on their good works, but I will not ignore their transgressions. It was Christian nations who exploited Africa in horrible ways. Their is both national and religious shame in that.

  30. I'm not a 9.95er, but I can't be that much worse than them, right? Here's my guess on the 2-deep against Maryland: Offense QB: Ehlinger OR Buechele RB: Watson OR Ingram XWR: C. Johnson, Eagles HWR: LJH, Jamison OR J. Moore ZWR: Devin Duvernay, Burt LT: Anderson, Okafor OR Cosmi LG: Vahe, Hudson 😄 Shack, Kerstetter RG: Rodriguez, Imade RT: Kerstetter, Okafor OR Cosmi YTE: A. Beck, Brewer Defense DE: Hager, Bimage NT: Nelson, Wilbon DE: Omenihu, Graham BLB: McCulloch, Ossai, Vaughns (listing three here in case Shark isn't healthy) MLB: Roach, McCulloch ROV: G. Johnson, Townsend CB: K. Boyd, Cook BS: Sterns, Brown FS: B. Jones, Foster CB: Davis, Boyce NB: Locke, J. Thompson Special Teams K: Dicker P: Bujcevski DS: Holbrook, ??? KR: Jamison, Devin Duvernay ; Porter, J. Moore PR: Heard, Jamison I think Sam's the starter, but I wouldn't put it past Herman to leave it up in the air until kickoff. Rising is QB3, regardless. I could see any combination of Ingram, Watson, and Young being in the two-deep, whether it's an either/or lineup or a clear pecking order. I'll believe Kirk Johnson makes it to gameday when I see it. On the OL, I feel most unsure about RT. If we end up starting with four down on defense, then bump Wilbon up to starter at DT, with Graham the primary backup. No idea who the second backup DT would be, maybe Ojomo or Chisholm? More likely we change fronts if we have to go that deep into the depth chart. LB is a clusterfuck beyond the starters. I doubt we see Townsend on the field in any capacity unless it's garbage time; once again I figure Orlando will change defenses or move one of the starters around instead of playing deep reserves. If we go dime, then I'll guess that we see Thompson or Foster at the Joker position. I think Dicker will win the placekicking competition outright. I could maybe see us using Rowland for PATs or something. I honestly have no idea at KR, but I think K. Boyd and LJH are too important to risk as the primary guys. I like Jamison at PR the best, but I could see the coaches not trusting him there just yet.

  35. From that link: McMurphy said the story was published on WatchStadium.com after being reviewed and vetted by multiple attorneys. Here is the entirety of McMurphy’s response: “Zach Smith was an employee at Ohio State, having sex with a subordinate in the football offices. He was taking photos of these acts, nude photos of himself in the facility and at an official team function at the White House, with a phone he conducts university business on. “The staff member he engaged in these sexual acts with (was) re-assigned to another department in 2015, but Zach was not disciplined. “Zach has all these sex items (more than 30 deliveries in a 12-week span) sent to him -- not at his home -- but his place of employment, a state university that receives both federal and state tax dollars. This is another example -- along with the 2009 domestic violence arrest at UF (University of Florida), 2013 drunk-driving arrest in Ohio and 2015 domestic violence incidents -- of Zach’s utter lack of credibility, because he continues to say Urban (Meyer) didn’t know anything. Yet they worked together for 11 years. “One last thing: I have not used one anonymous source in any of my reports and everything -- every single thing -- I’ve reported an employee or employees at Ohio State already had knowledge of. “Yet Zach Smith remained an Ohio State employee until it became public.”

If he just simple let all the info out a once OSU and Meyer would just craft a story around it whether true or not, and everybody would just move on by not showing his full hand he is forcing them to be truthful or run the risk of being caught in a lie.
