After he was hired at Texas, Herman approached several members of the Ohio State staff he had relationships with. I was informed at the time by people who would know that Smith was included in this group. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have posted anything since I can't support my post by disclosing the sources of the information. In any event, take it or leave it as you see fit.15 points

Andrew, thats the way to look at your situation. I did the same. I beat that crap and if it comes back, I'll beat it again. You have the right attitude. Just make sure you're 100% before coming back. I know you want to be on the court with your team mates but don't rush yourself. Don't let emotions get in the way of making the right decision. BTW, you don't know this yet but this minor incident will help you do amazing things throughout your lifetime.11 points

I got to interview Beto for the Texas music radio show I volunteer with (and sometimes host/co-host). Because Beto is a campaigning machine, his campaigning manager gave me 7 minutes (!?!) to do a prerecorded interview on the phone. He talked about 25-30 minutes which I edited into a 3 part interview. We're a music show, 90% of the conversation is about Texas music and culture. Because the FCC prohibits boxing out one candidate in favor of another, e.g., selling ad time or giving access to only one side, I e-mailed Ted Cruz's site and invited him to talk about the same type of stuff. /still waiting for a response. It was pretty impressive how many conservatives were triggered, even though (1) we had a giant preamble before playing the interview and epilogue after the interview about how our show does not endorse candidates or parties, (2) we are a super liberal peacenick community radio station, and (3) the interview was very light on politics. Send me a direct message if you want a link to a recording.10 points

What's funny is that they're pining for a mythical LSU vs Texas match-up, so they can watch the physical juggernaut that is LSU manhandle those tiny, dirty whorns. Oh, if only such a thing could ever occur. Like maybe next year and in 2020? Fucking rubes. Also, Texas is the last team from the state of Texas to beat LSU, and yet ATM has had 7 fucking cracks at them since and they've shit the bed like the gutless pussies they are all 7 times. They've had piss coming down their pants the last 3 match-ups, where they might as well have not even shown up and just called for a forfeit. They'd have saved some pride in doing so. They're just a bunch of coelenterates yelling "kick his ass!" from the back of the crowd. They're the kind of individuals who cheer for the gang when a person gets jumped, and they've found their niche of other hermaphroditic douches to congregate with on those websites.8 points

Everyone tiptoeing around the fact that Texas isn't ignoring DFW, they simply aren't going to get caught up in shenanigans from idiots that are going to get some school in trouble and the large majority of this DFW group all have the same trainers and 2 specific "assistant coaches" Let's be clear -- Henderson. Wease. Brooks. Stogner. Beason. Bridges. Carter. There is no year in which Texas is signing these guys. EVER.8 points

TLDR: i lost a bunch of weight by not eating. Okay this is my first check in since Mid June i think. Said i would hit 199 at end of July, well it took me an extra 20 days, but i made it. Started March 1st of this year at 340 lbs. This morning i weighed in at 199.8 Some statistics - I am 6'1, 50 years old, fairly thick guy, with thick thighs and calf muscles. Was 44/46 waist size, now 34/36 in cargo shorts. Lost an avg of .81 lbs in that time. For most of the time (March 18th through Mid July) I fasted 6 days a week and had one meal on the eating day that was Keto. Usually a chicken fajita salad with guac. Since Mid July i have been eating Keto after every 2 days of fasting. So monday tuesday fasting, wed have dinner with family, fasting Thursday and Friday, eat on sat. etc Had a few slip ups along the way of course: Went to isla mujeres in May, gained about 7-10 but lost it all a few days once i got back. And also in June (i think) i really really blew it (documented on this thread somewhere) and took a week to take of that quick 17 lbs gained. There were certainly a day or 4 that i slipped up as well, but mostly that meant that i was planning on fasting and i had my chicken salad a few days early My plan going forward is to now fast one day and then eat Keto OMAD on the other. I dont really need to lose anymore weight, so will see if i can maintain at every other day fasting for a bit, then after a month of that and assuming i can stay in the 190s - eventually just go to OMAD where i eat dinner with wife every night. Some things i learned: 1)We don't need to eat nearly as much as we have been told. 2) I am a much happier person now, i should probably change my Mr. Drummond Pic. 3)Don't tell people you are fasting unless you want to discuss why you aren't about to fall over dead any second. And really don't tell your 75 year old mother. 4) even if you screw up (like i did in June) you can fix it fast. 5) get on the scale every morning. 6)don't let yesterdays bad decision lead to a today bad decision. The classic "i ate bad yesterday so fuck it, i will start again next week" 7)your dick looks bigger and works a lot better not morbidly obese. And once again a special shout out and sincere thank you to Bernard for discussing his fasting that sent me down this fasting road and to start doing research, which led me to Dr. Jason Fung on youtube and his books. Fasting was tool in my tool box i didn't' know i had.7 points

Mrs CL keeps telling me something is wrong with her car. The bluetooth doesn't recognize her phone anymore and she has to keep answering on the handset. I tell her to reset the phone. Then re-pair it with the car. She says she tried "EVERYTHING" and it won't work. She reminds me over the weekend about it so I get the keys to her car and go out to try and figure out what's going on. She had bluetooth turned off on the phone.7 points

She's in self-preservation mode. She didn't want that fuckstick to run in the first place because she was the only one with foresight to see what would happen. Her best interest is to dump trump on the curb on try to get away. Then again, where can she go? She's probably constantly trying not to lose it every time she's on camera She’s complicit. Fuck her6 points

So Johnny Manziel petitioned the aggy president for a diploma from a&m. The president told Johnny that he didn’t have enough credits, plus he failed several courses. Before after feeling the pressure from students and alumni, the president said, “If Johnny can answer one question, I will give him a diploma. The question will be given in a couple of days at Kyle Field on the 50 yard line. Well, aggy being aggy, they went bonkers. They decided to fill the stadium for their GOAT. So in two days, the event was ready to happen. 100,000 aggys filled Kyle Field. They were chanting “GOAT and Heisman Winner and Give Johnny his diploma!” Then the president turned to JFF and said, “ Are you ready for your question? What is 3 x 7?” Johnny thought deeply. He looked at the heavens. He looked at his feet. Finally he answered “21!” A hush fell over the 100,000 aggys in Kyle field. Then they all started chanting, “Give him a 2nd chance. Give him a 2nd chance!!!”6 points

To be fair, he tried to steer A&M into becoming a respected institution of higher learning. They didn't want that. They wanted a guy that whooped, wore maroon bow ties, who would make poor decisions based on athletics alone, and who would turn the school into a degree factory so that they'd have more alumni than UT. They got that in Loftin. The guy was full on aggy. Gates really never was. He was always too good for them.6 points

Somehow I feel like you yelled and threw shit when Vince came into the games as a sophomore. You probably yelled and threw shit when he beat out your boy Chance Mock. You probably yelled and threw shit on 4th and 5 because Vince missed a read you are certain Mock would have made. You probably yell and throw shit now because you can't figure out why Chance only has 30 followers and 29 family members on twitter. You probably yelled and threw shit when GDGD kept calling the same crossing route to Shipley in the 08 RRSO. You certainly yelled and threw shit when they flew the banner over the stadium. I bet you yelled and threw shit when Red got bad press on the Strong hire, because you sure as shit yelled and threw shit when your boy Sanduski got busted. In other words, go fuck yourself and the front running horse you rode in on.6 points

The premise that HtownHorn thinks it's perfectly fine to have abdicated one of the top 4 fertile recruiting grounds in the entire country because, basically, "they don't have any of them good kids there anymore", tells you everything you need to know about this goober as a poster.5 points

Wife is at HEB. I had told her to get 2 pounds of the catfish filets that are on sale. Of course, the phone just rang. "These filets are pretty small." "And?" "Well, do you want me to get more of them?" "No I want you to get 2 pounds, whether they're big or small." "OK." I wish I were making this up.5 points

Yes, I see that, but I also think that it will run out of steam before it does irreversible damage. It might even lead us to shaking our complacency and taking a look at dismantling some other things already in existence that infringe on our liberties, such as the Patriot Act. Or at least I think that is where you are headed, to use the Trump experiment and its outcome as reason to start even more stringent Orwellian policies? I have had the idea for a long time that there are those on a higher level of control than I that are pushing us to some sort of civil unrest or revolt. I am not convinced that it is completely Russian driven, though they have played a big part in driving wedges in our country. I just think that Trump might have been too much. He hasn't been subtle enough to move us closer to the edge. He doesn't have the skills that other fascists leaders had in keeping all the people in lockstep. I think we are seeing the opposite. And I think there are enough numbers are waking and rising up to overcome these actions and hopefully right the ship. I appreciate Brisket, but I am not quite ready to step on the ledge yet. Its just going to take some time to get organized. Like I said, the Beto campaign seems to me a microcosm of response, not only in the grassroots part of it, but the growth. If he can activate the vote and win, then that will go a long way to help people feel they actually do have some control over their government again.4 points

Zach Smith sucks. Smith's former admin assistant definitely sucks. Urban Meyer sucks, too. Waiting for final confirmation sometime this week on whether tOSU itself sucks or not.4 points
