You really might be onto something. One is pictured with the people he loves most in the world, and who likewise love him. The other is just with his family whose taste in hats is a little odd.9 points

This is an enjoyable interview of the actors recounting how the movie and characters came together, Mike Judge explains the origins of a few things, and how the actors really took ownership of their roles. Lots of good scenes from the movie mixed in with it too. Well worth the 30 minutes if you need a long break.7 points

Pat Tillman, one of my favorite atheists who hated Dubya for taking his eye off the real enemy that attacked us on 9/11 in order to invade Iraq. He's an American hero. He would fucking despise Donald Trump.6 points

The downside to being a smug prick. Most will put up with a smug prick if we’re winning, but not when they lose to Maryland in season opener two years in a row. If he would just show the tiniest bit of accountability or any sort of indication that he or his staff was going to make a change it would be different. His ego won’t allow it though.6 points

fuck that noise, I want him ousted in the most humiliating way possible. I want video of him holding onto the door frame as they drag his obese ass out the front door for all to see. I want him tarred and feathered on the front lawn. Maybe give him the Gaddafi treatment as he gets into the police car.5 points

I'm a hunter and have taken many WTD, elk, pronghorns, mule deer, feral hogs, and the like. All game taken were free-range / fair chase. I appreciate the "majesty" of each creature and don't take lightly the thought of squeezing the trigger. All animals taken are treated with respect as they should be (excepting feral hogs). Sure, some of the chase is "sport" (can I outwit and out endure the animal and get the shot?) and some of the chase is for sustenance. I enjoy venison and the like. I'm more proud to serve something I've taken than some Japanese massaged beef BS. People I take game for both enjoy and appreciate it when I give them an entire processed WTD or just a few links of sausage or some backstraps (you'll be lucky to get any elk out of me). Regarding deer leases, we are set up on a serious management program where the state biologist strictly dictates the amount of doe and bucks we take. This is done through his first hand knowledge of range conditons and what is best for the herd of deer (overpopulation is devestating). We put in significant amounts of time and money to not only hunt the animals but also improve the range to its best conditions and supplement feed the animals. Rather than just "looking" at the animals we actively participate in the overal well being of the herd. Sure, it doesn't turn out too well for some of them, but the alternative of starving to death or being taken by predators is not an enviable demise either. Either the coyotes, starvation of the cavemen get you. To note, it's not the wild west with bullets flying everywhere and carcasses stacked up like cord wood. You'd be surprised how some old ancient buck shows up out of nowhere. He's smart and avoided the pitfalls of being a deer. Some have been aged out at over 9 years old, which is ancient for a WTD buck. They've got no teeth to chew food with and are slowly starving to death, covered in ticks and full of parasites. Those bucks aren't healthy and just refuse to die. You've got to count coup with those guys. Responsible hunters have an important place in the wild.5 points

Had to get a new water heater installed yesterday. Plumber says to give it a few hours to fill up and get up to full temperature and then if it's too hot or too cold to go up and adjust the thermostat. No one showers last night - wife is the first one this morning. She storms into my study at 5:30 this morning to complain that the water isn't hot enough. "This water is not HOT! This is WARM! I can't wash my hair. I don't feel clean. I feel like I have just covered myself with urine!" "So you've been pissed on before and know what that feels like? You never told me that about yourself." I've done ok. I'm now the CFO of a midsize company and been in management since the early 00s. I've had to let people go - sometimes because of their performance and sometimes because of broader corporate issues. In either case, I've always felt respecting the impacted person's dignity important enough to speak with them personally. I'll go out on a limb that their accomplishments likely fell short of some one ascending to a senior White House role. But paying a basic level of respect to someone who's life is being upended seemed appropriate. Among the many things I find fault with in the current administration, the lack of basic respect for personal dignity often rises near the top of the list. Both in its cowardly contrast to the blustering bravado and in its insensitivity to the impacted person and their families. tl/dr: fuck the chickenshit way djt handles business4 points

My reaction, as well. This is also planning for the resume after your WH duties are done. "Yea, I worked for President Trump, but I was one of the good Nazis. I wrote that editorial in the Times. You'll see it right down there in the second bullet point: 'Gooooood Nazi.' Yes."4 points

I agree with both of these sentences. I don't like someone burning our flag but I support their right to burn our flag. But getting people who are so stuck on black and white to look at the gray of the combination of those 2 sentences is damn near impossible.4 points

There is zero reason to kill these animals at all. Spend some time in their presence. I went to Africa with preconceived notions of what my favorite animals would be, and elephants wouldn’t have made my top 3 going in (I was more interested in the big cats). They emerged as a solid #1. Such gentle giants. The youngins are so playful, and the elders indulge them in their playfulness. Any act that tacitly encourages or approves of the killing of them is wrong. Period. I’m not a big hunter (I’ll go on a random dove hunt every 4-5 years). But I can acknowledge the fact that many hunters harvest deer for the meat, and I’m fine with that even though it’s not my particular cup of coffee. That is not the case here. If the locals were killing elephants for the meat to provide for their families, I would be a little sad, but acknowledge it as people providing for their family. The people killing elephants and rhinos in Africa are doing it to provide the Asian market with pseodo-remedies to, among other things, make their dicks harder. Take a couple of viagra and leave the fucking animals alone.4 points

1. immamac did not delete the threads, I did 2. I did because they were all about you derka, and threads about you do not belong in the football board. if you want to discuss derka you are free to do so in the board discussion forum but not the football forum 3. 52-80 was banned for a day, the normal banning for a first offense. 4. derka you are a petulant child that really needs to realize this is a message board to discuss UT football and not the fucking Supreme Court. Nothing here really fucking matters. The sooner you realize that the better off you will be. Getting a couple of your threads deleted is not the fucking end of the world. This place is people sitting around talking about UT football and not something that's going to end world hunger or bring peace to the middle east. Fucking learn to walk away.4 points
