Hilary has always been a shrewd, power grasping person who will step on any person to get what they want. If she had a penis, all those qualities would be seen as par for the course as a big time lawyer turned politician. But given she has a vagina, she’s an unlikeable cunt who hasn’t learned her place. Trump was and is 10 million times more unlikeable and morally repugnant with a shadier past and a frankly immoral personal life. But somehow it was Hilary who got tagged as unlikeable and unrelatable. No mystery how that happened. Pussy may be undefeated but not if the woman attached to it dares to “act like a man”.23 points

I dont understand people that think this way. I was raised Baptist and am now a Lutheran. We attend church every Sunday with all of our kids and are active in our church leadership. Its clear to me as a Christian that Jesus would have no choice but to be a Democrat. He dedicated his whole life to serving the poor. To helping others less fortunate. He wasnt interested in material wealth or success. He wanted to help provide medical care to those who could not afford it. He traveled around the countryside giving speeches and educating the public. He literally lived and died for every single thing the Democrats stand for and are passionate about. Abortion? If you don't think Jesus would have led the way on improving sex education and adoption services so women wouldn't have to go through such an agonizing situation, then you don't know Jesus. Yeah, Jesus is/was a dirty liberal. To think otherwise would require one to deny every single message Jesus taught during his life.13 points

I don't think it's the overall idea of the scheme that's awful. I really like a power spread, or whatever the hell we're calling it, as a college offense. I don't think it will put up quite the crazy video game numbers of the Veer 'n Shoot, but it's much easier on the defense, and I think it's well-suited to the advantages we typically have in recruiting. Our actual problems:7 points

God forbid we expect success in what is arguably the top job in CFB. You need some new state-of-the-art facilities? Done, just ask (I'm looking at you, Charlie Strong). You need an army of top notch quality control analysts/assistants? Ask. It's done. You want a bigger coaching budget to assemble the very best recruiting/coaching assistants money can buy instead of hiring your fucking buddies? Done (if I was cross-eyed, I'd be glaring at Herman and Strong). You want a great school that can offer a grade A education in one of the coolest, most awesome towns in the entire fucking world? It's already fucking there. You want a state full of top talent that dreams of growing up playing for your school? Again, it's there already, aside from the occasional weirdo who wants to be aggy for some fucked up reason. Yes, there's high demands, but for good fucking reason. As long as you have a solid plan in place, there's ZERO excuse to not succeed here. And there's certainly no excuse to come a cunt hair away from losing to a Tulsa team that went 2-10 and 1-7 in the American West Conference last year. If we are the most hair trigger fan base in the I really don't give a fuck. We should be.6 points

I was going through some high school era boxes and came across some drawings I did. In the stack were some sketches of the musicians I was into. All guitarists, natch. I think I'll hang them in the music room. And, as you can see, I go back to "Diamond." #og #keepingitreal6 points

Perhaps somewhat lost in all the hate for Mensa Beck is that our Oline looks much better. Make no mistake - this is because Warehime is no longer coaching them and Hand is. Saw this on another site: we had some nifty little fold blocks from a bygone era against Tulsa. This is a Herb Hand special, as Scipio alluded to earlier in the year. To wit (Watch the RT/RG combo): Cosmi with a grown ass man block on the LB. Kerstetter is able to use angles/leverage to his advantage, though he almost/maybe/probably holds. If Herman would have hired Hand-caliber assistants from the get go, we might not be in this mess. Let's see how the Oline looks against better competition, but at least we are seeing some running plays that schematically show some progress.5 points

Finally our student section is stepping up. This lady wakes up and pisses excellence and here you are trying to bring her down and complain that "seats are hard". GTFO with this snowflake non-sense. Buy a flask, one big gulp and refill from roaming vendors. Send pussies and pussy to get drinks and stagger bathroom breaks. For christ's sake...... next thing you know you will complain about the lack of cell phone charging stations5 points

GD it. It far from sucked. We had a Qb with a messed up throwing hand and broken ribs trying to compete against KU. Go bang your thumb with a hammer, run your chest into a pole until something cracks and then try to throw a football. It's not the Giblet's fault that our only backup QB is an NFL tight end. And any offense that takes a backup and turns him into a Doak winner doesn't suck. Gilbert isn't Art Briles. He's just a practitioner of the offense and it shows, but all of his offenses have a pulse. I really wish someone had bothered to add on the 18 Wheeler package but there it is. Oh, btw, that sorry Tulsa team that should have put up 40+ points on us? Yeah, they also run the Giblet's offense. I'd much rather run the Veer and Shoot than be subject to the Collective. Cam Rising would wreck shop in that attack.5 points

Holy crap what an improvement. We got to our seats at 6:30 and I don't remember seeing an ad till the end of the first quarter Band actually played during breaks. only 1 dude in the stands with a mic, and the mic didn't work so we didn't have to listen to him. during commercial breaks there was a count down clock in the bottom right of the godzillatron to let you know how much time is left in the break. godzillatron was not surrounded by ads. screen on the right, stats and info on left, two small ads on the bottom of the left section. Replays were from multiple angles, not just the shitty angle from some cameraman standing outside the endzone. Only remember a couple of ads. Colt's ad for the cookies and a pluckers ad about the 5 free wing coupons. All the other "ads" were highlights with a logo in the corner or whataburger giving some kids a check. This is by far the best improvement. No longer felt like i was being completely whored out or at a nba or minor league baseball game, it actually felt like a college football game for a change. Now we just need Tom to pull his head out of his ass. If last night wasn't an improvement over last year I was planning on not renewing my season tickets for next year, but now the product on the field may prevent me from doing so.4 points

Love your neighbors as you do yourself is the actual commandment, and that's an important part that can't be forgotten. We should not hold ourselves up to be any more important than someone else. Anything we would do for ourselves we should do for our neighbor. Anything we deserve, our neighbor deserves as well. Oh and neighbor doesn't mean to person next door. It's very clear that everyone is our neighbor regardless of who they are or where they live.4 points

What a stupid dog pile this thread turned into. The scale and scope of our federal government needs to be reeled in. The military needs to take a huge haircut, Medicare and SS need fundamental restructure, and we need to systematically assess every function of the federal government for ongoing necessity. But if we do those things your house will burn down, and there won't be any water to put it out, and when you try to sell the ashes nobody will be able to find the property deed records. So nevermind.4 points

Aggy (so far) is getting some good players, but the day they get program changers will be the first. Any time they've ever out- recruited us they've never been able to do anything but squander the talent. Jimbo isn't any different. It too a Hercules talent like Winston to make Fisher "respectable" (even though he sucks and couldn't win the ACC more than twice, all while recruiting better than anyone in that conference. Do you honestly think he's going to somehow get good at aggy, even though they still have to play Bama, Auburn, LSU, and Miss St every year? He couldn't best Clemson in the end in a much weaker conference. The sky isn't falling, we'll be fine like always. Aggy will always aggy it up. It's what they do.4 points

I'll answer. First, it is generally believed that firing a coach prior to three years, maybe even four, is not giving that coach a complete shot to implement his program and recruits. Some of that may be speculative, but the fact remains that coaches don't ordinarily sign contracts for any less than three years, and more typically five, for this precise reason. It's a pretty bad look, even when justified (by other than off-field issues). Second, firing coaches two games into the season is also regarded as reactionary and imprudent and it would be especially so when there aren't reasonable replacements on staff already (Orlando? the offensive coaches would remain a shitshow). It would be highly disruptive to recruiting, moreso than the traditional season-end firing. FInally, it would be extremely difficult to initiate an interview process during the season, so no replacement will be forthcoming until after the season, anyway. Again, a bad look, and likely guarantees that the season goes in the shitter and recruiting is fucked, whereas now it is a matter of educated speculation, but not a foregone conclusion. Finally, firing based on the relative importance of our win and aggy's loss is just reactionary and dumb. We have no idea whether Jimbo is going to be any good at aggy or not based on one game from an NC-caliber team so well known for inexplicable choking that there's a name for it ("Clempsoning"). We actually don't know where Herman will end up with Texas, either, although the signs currently are pretty grim. We are most likely stuck with Herman this year and next.4 points

Fire protection. Police protection. Local road construction and maintenance. Interstate highway construction and maintenance. Airport operation, air traffic control, airline safety regulations. Port construction, maintenance, and operations. Public schools educating you and/or your fellow citizens (so that they are more likely to 1) contribute to the economy and 2) stay out of jail). Courts to enforce your contracts and make you whole if someone injures you. Criminal justice system ensuring that bad people who could harm you or your property are sent to prison. Prisons. Military to guard against foreign threats. Treated, safe drinking water (see how we flip out when this fails -- Flint) Sewage removal and treatment (seriously, sewage and water service are perhaps the greatest improvements to human health and increased life span in our entire history, and both are almost exclusively the product of government activity). We could keep going. But why, it won't matter to the stupid and narrowminded. I am sitting at my kitchen table working. Virtually everything around me has the mark of government assistance/enabling on it. The wood and my table were shipped on the interstate highway system, helping to keep my costs low. The varnish is not toxic -- thanks to both the tort system and safety regulations. The light fixture traveled the same way, but it's foreign-made, so add a port in there. The electricity is via a grid that was originally made possible by government subsidies and systems. My computer is a Dell, and its supply chain used every element I mentioned -- land, sea, and air. The network over which I am sending these thoughts was born in part due to government action. My contracts with everyone involved in everything I have are enforceable via a public court system. I am educated enough to type this because I was educated at a university that was at least partially publicly funded. If the rain picks back up and I'm stranded by a flood, it's likely that government agents will help rescue me. If after a month, we get no more rain, and the greenbelt next to my house goes up in flames, government firefighters, possibly including federal air assets, will work to put it out. If this logic so enrages Chrispy that he shows up here and punches me in the face, the government police, courts, and prisons will ensure that he won't be free to do it again. But then again, how could he even have gotten to my house without driving here on publicly built and maintained roads? Using gas that was shipped via pipelines that were able to be built because the government gave them the right as common carriers to condemn private property on the planned route, of course. The "GIT GUBMINT OUTTA MY LIFE!" cry is one of the stupidest battle calls in a nation that seems to be addicted to stupid battle calls these days. How about this -- you get to keep ALL of your tax dollars. In return, you get to use/receive the benefit of ZERO public infrastructure, courts, education, protection, etc. etc. No more produce from out of town. No more cars shipped by boat or truck. No more cops. No more fire department. No more water treatment. No more sewer service. Live on a fucking island, with no collective influence or control (that's called "government," by the way) over any of those things. You'll be dead in a month, probably less. The more I think about it, I INSIST that you take this deal. I would hate for you to have to compromise your principles. Also, I would hate for morons like you to live till election day. Your principles are too important, right? Live them. It's what a man of integrity would do.4 points
