  1. Later Brooks stole that car.

  2. This isn’t a $9.95 board where dipshit moderators hide behind innuendo and “wait til after signing day” nonsense. Some of us put explicit shit out there for consumption, which has been the case with Brooks repeatedly. You guys acting like this is the first you’ve heard of issues with him or questioning the severity, when you have posters providing info and even evidence of multiple local programs ignoring his ass, make reading this shit nauseating. The bottom line is that EJ Holland is a fucking limp dick puppet being manipulated by handlers who want to get their boys out there associated to UT interest in order to drive up or maintain prices. He was a fucking shill for Lyles and Waddle’s crew last year, to the point of running Rondale Moore down by comparison, and he’s doing the same shit with Brooks and his boys. This whole last page is due to a tweet from an uninformed hipster loser.

  4. He can also still turn voters like me. I've never voted in a midterm before. I'm not particularly young at 39. I'm not a liberal or progressive. I'm not super conservative either. I dont agree with some of the main positions of the Democratic party. I don't put signs in my yard or a sticker on my car. I'm generally pessimistic about all politicians in general and have little hope any of them aren't slaves to lobbies. All that said, I'll be voting for Beto.

  11. If only there was some way to prevent people from gaming the system, a mandate perhaps. Maybe an individual mandate. You could enforce it with a penalty....err...tax.

  16. The same way we pay for a military for all, a highway system for all, a police force for all, a National Park system for all, an agency to monitor and protect the environment for all, and hundreds of other things we provide for all.

  17. Could be cheaper for people than the system we have. To start with it would create a mechanism to control costs. They're not babies and that's a woman decision. Did I pass? How hard did you laugh? Fucking dumbass.

  18. My wife signed us up for some Brazos river clean up today a couple months back. She said we are still going to go this AM. I told her no way. She was insistent. I showed her the first two pics in the Snek thread. I'm now laying on the couch watching cartoons with my son and she's making breakfast tacos. What starts on Surly changes your Saturday

  19. So people here are saying Brooks is a drug dealer, a drug user and a full on rapist with massive and constant attitude problems. Let's be clear, that's exactly what some of you are saying. So I guess we should expect some sort of charges or suspension any day now.

  22. Leitao is kind of an odd example because he comes from a good family/background and was a good student in high school based on what I’ve read. Most people were shocked that Leitao was involved because it was out of “character”. That doesn’t excuse his actions but there’s different context here. Brooks sounds like a kid that has a long history of bad behavior and questionable choices. Not saying Brooks can’t make changes in his life but think this is a lot different than Leitao. Leitao sounds like he made a bad decision and Brooks sounds like he’s on about strike 6.

  28. It’s actually very easy to believe. Khashoggi was investigating the financial investments the Saudis had made in Trump. It’s entirely believable that the Saudis secretly indicated to Trump that they intended to kill Khashoggi and that Trump approved.

  31. well, i suppose he would start with the low hanging fruit - people who are trying to change our way of life, invading our culture, and twisting that culture. i'd say he'd start with illegal immigrants, whether or not they are seeking asylum is not an issue. in fact, what we could do is create tent city camps, and separate the children from their parents and imprison them both in separate camps, without care as to keeping track of who went where. maybe that's where he would start. maybe then, he would start closely inspecting legal, naturalized citizens who are trying to change our way of life, invading our culture, and twisting that culture. maybe he would find excuses to deport them as well. maybe that's where he would start.
