  1. All the other smart people here can make fun of my mistake. But you’re dumb, so shut up.

  2. One time a child knocked on my door and asked me if I'd like to buy some popcorn to support the local school's after school program. I was so furious I went to his school later that day and locked the doors and burned it down with all the children inside. Then I wrote in a vote for Gary Johnson and went back to the very successful bank that I run because I am a brilliant thinker as you can obviously see. That will teach those idiots to knock on my door again.

  3. Birthright citizenship in the United States is not a policy. It is not a law. It is a right enumerated in the Constitution.

  4. I told my friends at work today to get ready for some excuse destroying reality. We are no longer going to be able to excuse the behavior of voters in this election as 'being foolish', 'hoping Trump would change', "poor candidate in Hillary", etc. If we go deeper Red, or stay just as Red, then we are what we are, a shit country run by shit politicians supported by deplorable, shitty voters. And that in fact may happen. The Swams and Epis of the world may prevail, all while others buy donuts and shake their head muttering "tsk, tsk", while doing NOTHING. And if that is true, then at least we will know what America has become. Maybe what it never was. Maybe we are closer to the 1920s KKK marching in numbers down Pennsylvania Avenue than we are the Obama Inauguration crowds. But we will know, and there will not be any doubt about who we are a country. Not now, after last week and this week. If you vote GOP now, then you support Trump. And if you support Trump - now - then you own it. We own it. America owns it. We'll see.

  5. Just stop already, Hugo. You have been wrong more times than any of us can count and your strategy suggestions have been incredibly consistently terrible. What the Democrats should actually do if they're smart is spend an entire week blasting the citizenship statement from Trump into Latino neighborhoods and telling them that this might be the last chance they EVER have to vote if they don't vote against Republicans. Or they can do like you and trust Jeff Flake to do the right thing.

  6. The belief that Beto was supposed to openly support Dikeman is one of the dumber ones I’ve seen on this thread.

  11. I think it’s always a great idea to tweak schemes but more or less I hope they continue to build on this. There’s no fucking secret to a good football team. Start RS JRs and SRs that have been in a good strength and conditioning program for 2-3 years and hammer your scheme/concepts into their brains via repetition In practice during their early years. We used to be in this position but shit got fucked when new coaching changes run off upperclassmen contributors and having 5 different OCs ruins the development of these guys as they are learning new verbiage and spending time installing vs practicing what they know. Herman is following this recipe and it will get us back to competing. I love that every OL/DL is getting a redshirt and I hope we don’t see them starting till 2020. Same goes for QBs. This is how you fucking manufacture depth. In conclsuion, I hope they fire both mehringer and Warehime. Keep Meekings and Beck as WR/TE coaches. Get a good play caller that can coach QBs. Then use the extra coaching spot to hire a fucking recruiting witch to help Oscar Giles as he will absolutely not get us elite DL. And if there’s one thing I know.... elite DLs win you championships. Can’t remember the last national championship team that didn’t have a stout D-line.

  14. Different year. Same result. It is a proven formula. Self fulfilling prophecy 1. Get as many teams ranked by “journalist” in pre-season polls “that don’t mean anything”. (This is actually done naturally for the most part but it doesn’t hurt to organize it a little with ESPN sponsoring your conference) 2. Schedule 1 big conference game early in the season while other conferences are playing out of conferences games. If you win, you beat a highly ranked team. If you lose, you lost to a highly ranked team and everyone forgets about early losses. Losses late in the year hurt you more than early losses. 3. Have an 8 game conference schedule. Half your conference gets a loss taken away from them. Yes, they could still lose that extra game out of conference, but....(see #4) 4. Schedule 1 “name” school out of conference and 3 FCS/low end FBS teams. Some of those 7-1 teams might be 6-2 and some of those 5-3 teams might be 4-4. The SEC has a built in advantage. It was designed to be an advantage. They didn’t break any rules, they are just scheming within the nonexistent level playing field to make their conference the #1 conference every single year, feeding into the narrative they created 20 years ago. The Big 10, Pac 12, they didn’t die 20 years ago. They didn’t stop playing football. The SEC started fighting in the boardroom. They are crushing everyone and no one gives a shit. Who’s going to report about it? ESPN? Ha.

  15. It's not a cross-out of the Bible, it's a cross-out of these vulgar hypocrites that call themselves "the religious right" who on one side of their neck preach about Jesus and then, on the other side of their neck, espouse political beliefs that have absolutely nothing to do with anything that's written in the Bible. Too often, those people read into the Bible things that it does not say, then they don't read what it does say. In other words, they read between the lines without reading the lines. And again, that's not what's being said. It's exploiting yet another stereotype: the idiot southerner who proudly brandishes the Confederate Flag and cannot for the life of him/her see the irony of pairing that with the MAGA hat.

  18. What they should actually do is spend the next week blasting that statement by Trump to minorities (particularly Latinos, obviously) all over the country and scare them into thinking that this might literally be their last chance to vote EVER if they don't vote against Republicans. Fear-mongering has worked for decades on the other side. Stop trying to rise above if you want to win.

  19. Every time I read something like this, I think how amazing it is how many people dont get it. The manufacturing is the worthless bit, the IP and financial control are the real wealth on this planet. Anyone who doesn't want all low skilled manufacturing either offshored or done by robots is fucked in the head

  20. My wife just got done with her second door knocking campaign. They have an app that shows who in the area has done some sort of engagement that indicates Democrat support. Liking Beto on Facebook, voting Democrat in this primaries, contributing, etc. The whole mission is to go, ask about whether the person has early voted, and if not help them make a plan on when they are doing it. It is intentionally designed not to annoy people who don’t already lean that way.

  23. Pilot 'Sully' Sullenberger: 'This is not the America I know and love' Retired airline pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who landed the famous "miracle on the Hudson," said Monday that “this is not the America I know and love” in a message encouraging voter participation ahead of the midterm elections. Sullenberger wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post that he “witnessed the best in people” on Jan. 15, 2009, when he led 154 people to safety by making an emergency landing on the Hudson River after a malfunction. "To navigate complex challenges, all leaders must take responsibility and have a moral compass grounded in competence, integrity and concern for the greater good," he wrote. Tragically, people in positions in power today are not projecting their best, Sullenberger wrote. “Many are cowardly, complicit enablers, acting against the interests of the United States, our allies and democracy; encouraging extremists at home and emboldening our adversaries abroad; and threatening the livability of our planet.” “Many do not respect the offices they hold; they lack — or disregard — a basic knowledge of history, science and leadership; and they act impulsively, worsening a toxic political environment,” he continued. https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/413756-pilot-sully-sullenberger-this-is-not-the-america-i-know-and

  28. Trump actually may not care if the courts nullify his EO. Hell, he may never issue it. This was purely a political statement to get the bomber, PItt shooter and his previous words, out of the news. Not to mention that just saying this EO statement might win the gop a few close congressional districts. EVERYTHING he says or does this week is about next Tuesday. The news media should ignore this statement and talk about the same issues as yesterday. Narrator: they won’t.

  30. AND....if we wanted the most bang for our buck, you know how we could most easily reduce the flows of Hondurans coming here? It ain't by building a wall, or amending our Constitution. It would be by fostering stability and prosperity in Honduras, including supporting appropriate governance, supporting manufacturing and jobs initiatives, and spending some additional foreign aid dollars. It seems smarter to spend $500 million than $20 billion - along with the great benefit of helping real people and stabilizing our hemisphere - but hey, I'm no math major. If the goal is "fewer Hondurans coming here/having babies here," that's the easiest and most efficient path. Kind of like how if your goal is to reduce abortions, you should probably be in favor of real sex education and readily available birth control. But, you know. Common sense and all that.

  36. See, this is the shit they don't tell you about before you get married. You're fucking going to take that loss, over, and over, and fucking over again. Keys phone wallet, keys phone wallet. Just the most fucking important inanimate things in EVERY FUCKING PERSONS LIFE. My lady and I started living together over 12 years ago and she loves to cook (win). Cooking makes opening and closing the fridge a requirement, which she was really fucking terrible at. So I was an asshole and put a fucking sign on the fridge that said close the fucking door, everytime. I caught hell, called an asshole, you know the story. But you know what, that fucking fridge has never been ajar one fucking day since, and she absolutely makes sure every fucking time. Sometimes you gotta lose the little battles to win the fucking war. That's my message to the youth. Looking at you millennials.

  37. Maybe the finder of the wallet used Facebook to contact your wife and then got sucked into a Facebook wormhole like most women and hasn't realized hours have passed since she picked up her head. As soon as she finishes sharing keto recipes she'll never fix and posting thoughts and prayers, she'll pop back up and call your wife. Give her some time - Facebook is serious business.
