  1. 1) He tends to do really bad things to pro style offenses. See USC and ISU this year and last as well as Louisville in 2016 when he was at UH. 2) His LBs play much better when they can key the RB and attack instead of worrying about coverage every play against spread teams. 3) PJ Locke is a much better player close to the LOS. 4) Orlando's blitzes are more effective when the QB can't buy time with his feet to diagnose disguised coverages and when the pass rushers aren't worried about a running QB breaking contain. Fromm is the definition of statuesque, with negative 22 rushing yards. 5) UGa is a run heavy offense (63%). Focus on stopping the run can make them one dimensional. Making them one dimensional is halfway to making them zero dimensional since their high pass efficiency rating is a function of being able to throw the ball when THEY want to off play action. 6) He likes to play run on early downs and Georgia likes to force the run on early downs. Orlando's defense is especially effective when they can play single-gap responsibility against the run and that combo should allow them to do so frequently.

  7. There are some pretty big cunts on this thread. Hager is what he is. A 3 star late addition / steal from Baylor. If we had better options, they would have been playing, or you should be criticizing the coaches for playing an inferior player. We are all pretty pissed after yesterday, but let’s not eat our own.

  10. I love it when players talk smack, providing they back it up on the field.... Hey if Hager wants to draw attention to himself by growing his hair down to his ass, wearing sunglasses, bandanas, and Willie Nelson braids at post game interviews and saying OU sucks, be my guest.... just back all those theatrics with some actual on the field theatrics. He didn't do anything in this game. Did he ever even touch Murray? All I saw was him getting stood up straight all damn day on the line of scrimmage. You can't do all that other shit and suck on the field.

  11. I’m dwelling on it because national media, Texas haters (aggy & gooner in particular), and USF fans were trying to chastise the fans and administration as if we were being oh so unfair to Charlie. Herb calling us a cesspool and insinuating that Charlie is gonna go somewhere else and spread his wings with out big bad mean Texas and thier big greedy evil donors holding him back. I’m kinda tired of being told I have unrealistic expectations when I’m expecting a program with the numerous advantages and resources we have to atleast make a fuckin bowl. That’s my only point here. I like Charlie as a person and hope he does well tbh but he’s just better as a coordinator imho

  12. Someone told my wife about some documentary about 3 identical triplets that were adopted out to different families and never knew the other existed... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Identical_Strangers She mentioned at dinner last night she really wanted to see it. After getting in bed and turning the TV on, I rent the movie and start watching. We don't make it through the opening credits before she says she is too tired and can't stay awake for the movie and to save it. I turn it off and find some movie called Searching... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Searching_(film) which is about a single dad (Asian guy from American Pie) looking for his missing daughter by going through her social media. She ends up staying up and watching most of the movie. She texts me this morning asking if we can finish the documentary from last night because she really liked it. I responded asking her if she understood that the movie wasn't a documentary. She hasn't responded yet.

  13. This is not isolated stupidity of a lawyer and his client. Notice how Trump has echoed the claim that Mueller is trying to get witnesses to lie. Also note that Corsi is in a joint defense with Trump, meaning their lawyers can coordinate a defense. They are laying the groundwork to either fire Mueller or discredit his flips. Edit: This is Trump’s MO. Get an ally to make an outrageous claim, and then quote them to attack an enemy. Remember the “people are saying” about Cruz’s dad. Those people were his friends at the National Enquirer.

  20. If you're not already banned, here's the reason. This is the football forum on a board that has a political forum amongst others. There's a lot of people here who have differing political views but we all come together to discuss football. When you bring politics in it can quickly devolve into a shitty political argument, thus you will get your ass kicked out of here or banned if you bring your shit here. We tolerate a bunch of other fans, even fucking sooners and aggy as long as they aren't complete assholes. But keep politics out of football. The End.

  26. We were getting our dicks knocked into the dirt by Kansas. Today, we're going to the Sugar Bowl. Looks like we may have back-to-back top-5 recruiting classes. Texas has a long way to go, but for the first time in forever it looks like we're on our way out of the valley of darkness. Thanks, Tom.

  28. Nah, I hope Texas finishes in the Top 4 of the conference and gets a Top 4-5 seed in the tournament. I know from watching Shaka's tenure neither of those things is likely given how flawed this team is at shooting.

  35. I posted this on the old board but I will share it again here. Years ago my wife and I stopped in to the Blockbuster at the corner of Woodway and Chimney Rock. It was Sunday right after church and rainy. Nothing was going on so we decided to pick up a DVD and stay inside. As I walked into the store and my wife stayed in the truck, I noticed some black suburbans wheel into the parking lot and back into the empty spots right by the front door. The maneuvers where done with military precision and out popped several dark blue suit / sunglasses clad fellows replete with earpieces and strapped with firearms under their coats. They walked in and scanned the joint observing only me and two Blockbuster employees in attendance as the place had just opened for the day. I'm thinking "must be 41 dropping in" and sure enough after the "all clear" signal, he slides out of one of the suburbans and stumbles in to Blockbuster. He drops his returns into the return box and heads off to the stacks. I pick up 2 cinema classics and head to the check out. GHWB has already made his selection and hits the checkout before I do. So, I'm standing behind him and 2 bodyguards as the clerk looks up, takes the Prez's DVDs and asks for his Blockbuster card; completely oblivious as to who his customer is. GHWB dutifully and completely unoffended reaches for his George Constanza-like overstuffed wallet and produces the requested documentation. The other employee behind the counter is the manager and he shifts on his feet as suddenly he gets a little uncomfortable with the scene unfolding before him. The clerk runs 41's card, taps a few keys on the keyboard and, while still clueless, blurts out "you have $8.23 worth of late charges." 41 opens up his wallet and fingers out a ten to pay the man. The manager steps in and says, "Mr. President, we will waive the late fees for you. Have a great day." All the while, the other clerk still has no clue. 41 pays for his new rentals and hits the road, thanking both employees for their kindness and bidding them a great day. And then, he were gone. For the record, he rented Best in Show and another title I don't recall. Epilogue: I got back to the truck and recounted the events to my wife. She said "oh, that's nice. Hey, I was looking at this coupon from the newspaper and there's a fondue set on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond. Here, looks at what a great deal it is!" Ugh.

  39. Lolz this thread is a fucking delight. How can this story be construed as anything other than a hilarious anecdote in the long history of Christians trying to solve problems that don’t exist and save people that don’t need saving. Newsflash* there are folks out there that DONT believe in magic god babies that have super powers. Also, there are folks that believe in their own magic beings that are not JC and the Sunshine Band. Your justifications for his act of negligence and hubris are surface level deflections. Join the modern world, or do us all a favor and crawl into a cave with the big book and a big jug of Christ blood (it’s actually grape juice!)
