  1. It's almost like someone (or perhaps a certain duo) under Terry has got a different agenda ... This is where I am going to point out that in the 247 ranking first update after decomm from Aggy Bobby Wolfe fell 124 spots after his meteoric rise, just 3 days after his Aggy decommit Post no-showing Aggy Shepherd has fallen 192 spots in the 247, until the latest Aggy no-show Shepherd was +88. He had a previous +130 jump when he confirmed he'd be at Aggy Jr day. Andre White is up +389 since committing to Aggy in 247 rankings. Demani Richardson up 38 spots after a season ending injury (on the heels of a 120 spot climb just before that), despite very limited SR film, and no new measurables. Calzada is up 477 overall (which included a +977 at one point) despite being awful at the sport of football. Layden Robinson had a +401 place bump the day before he committed to Aggy. Jeffrey Carter is +320 since April just to think this through... DeGabriel Floyd is -32 despite being completely dominant on the field. His murder conviction notwithstanding. Derrian Brown is -28 since his Texas commitment. guessing an SEC commitment would have netted a different result. T'Vondre Sweat is -139 including a -17 point drop the day of his Texas commitment and another -17 point drop the next week. This despite being the dominant defender on a team that has allowed 137 points in 11 games. Peter Mpagi is -586 since the initial 247 rankings. Marques Caldwell is particularly hilarious - his composite score is +139 despite the fact that his 247 is -376. Likewise Payton Powell has a composite +163 despite a 247 drop of -63. Marcus Tillman is -143 on 247. Whittington is +4 composite despite his -79 on 247 (with not a single positive move since January of 2018) checked a couple of OU guys from Texas :: Jamal Morris is -412 on the 247 Kori Roberson is -202 on the 247 EJNO is -40 Stogner -32 TCU :: Barlow is +51 on composite -15 on 247. Tamuzia Brown is -125 Collins -264 Coker -607 Bannon Brown -497 Winters -308 Ellison -31

  2. I was told he went to a game and was completely blown away by the hospitality. The Secret Service couldn't figure out where the parking lot was located after the game and some kind aggys personally escorted them to the Presidential limo.

  3. Wife and I decided yesterday that we would go to a sports bar to watch Horns play VCU today. I’m excited because this woman rarely wants to watch sports. I get home from work and she immediately tells me she wants to go to this wine bar because she is in the mood for wine and not beer. I’m pissed because I want to watch the game and this wine bar doesn’t have a tv (wine selection at sports bar is lacking). After a brief argument we go to the wine bar. We get our table and my wife orders a fucking Stella Artois. I stare in disbelief. Wife: “well you were talking about drinking beer so much it made me want a beer!”

  4. Oh and before ctj and the rest of the naysayers come out of the woodwork, just remember that none of them are UT coaches, or any kind of football coach at all, so why would you even listen to them? You don't see me going to the doctor's office and telling him how to perform surgery. I just tell him that my back hurts so that he will keep refilling my oxy prescription that I then sell to my cousin.

  5. Greatest Christmas ever. Back in 2001 when my oldest granddaughter was 4 or so, she and our daughter and son-in-law came to our house in San Antonio for Christmas. Of course we set out milk and cookies as tradition dictated, but added a couple of small surprises. We had deliberately gathered some ash and soot and sprinkled it around the fire place and put some footprints around courtesy of my rubber rain boots. We then took a piece of red velvet and ripped it and hung it on the fireplace screen, of course it had smudges of ash and soot on it also. The next morning when she came downstairs she immediately checked to see it "Santa" got the milk and cookies (I he sure did!), and when she saw the footprints, soot and ash along with the torn part of the Santa suit she just freaked out. I've never seen a child more excited or happy on Christmas. /csb Edit, my wife and I were reminiscing about this last night and there was part of that special Christmas that I had forgotten. Around 7:30 or 8 on Christmas Eve my wife had to go to HEB, (believe it or not it was open) and ran into a Santa Claus driving a red Mustang convertible which I believe was a 64 65 model. She said he was the most real looking Santa Claus she had ever seen and told him where we lived and asked him to please come by the house. The only thing I was upset is she gave him $300 to do it. So anyway now that she is letting me in on the scheme. When he knocked at the door I told our oldest daughter to answer the door for me that I was busy. She and the granddaughter went to answer the door and I don't know who had the most shocked look on their face the daughter or granddaughter. The funny part was is after he wished everybody a Merry Christmas he went out to his Mustang, and of course he already had a pretty good buzz on, and he started laughing going ho ho ho Santa's lost his stinking keys.

  6. It didn't have anything to do with beer or wine. It was all about her asserting her dominance over you and then rubbing your face in it. Kind of like when another dog pees in your yard while your dog looks helplessly on through the window.

  10. Was surprised by how emotional today was. As a native Houstonian, hearing "President Bush now departs his adopted hometown for the final time" was really tough. It meant a lot to many Houstonians that they chose to live and remain here. Really moving to see everyone at all the crossings and bridges. The marines standing guard at the casket inside the train car as it passed. I was surprised at how many smiles there were inside the train, waving at us. It must have really moved them to see so many paying respects the entire way (we were at Navasota, an hour and a half into their trip. Plus everyone lining the freeways from the church to Spring.) That train was a genius move, a gift to the people. It gave so many families an event to get together at, to discuss and explain history and pass down stories over multi-generations. I hope other presidents will make it a tradition of either a funeral train or a long road procession through lots of towns, so that many more will get to attend similar. Thanks and farewell to one of America's Grandpa's.

  12. The Longhorns are not going to run the ball successfully using standard 11 personnel against Georgia’s base 3-4. They’re not going to run consistently against a 3-3 nickel. I think what we can realistically hope for is enough success against nickel to keep 6 committed in the box plus an overhang defender at the edge of it. That means Texas is going to have to get it done in the passing game – including running game extensions like quick bubble screens, swing passes and shovel jet sweep. We’ve already talked about how UGa really is not a pressure defense, which is very helpful in buying time with play action since their run defense is designed NOT to penetrate. On passing downs they like to rush 4, regardless of what front they present. The secondary plays a lot of man and man-hybrid coverage, very little pure zone. That often leaves an ILB responsible to cover the flats, which is very important. Georgia has one talented pass rusher and one decent, both at LB. They have 1 excellent CB and 2 other good DBs. Kirby Smart likes to disguise coverages but the defensive design and good pass blocking can buy time for QBs to recognize the coverage. Most of those coverages place a premium on stopping the deep ball with a lot of attention paid to vertical routes. Sending CJ and Duvernay deep with regularity is going to leave LJ matched up on an OLB or NB covering the slant-hook zone. This is most gruntling. In a lot of hybrid coverages, Kirby has his DBs exchanging responsibilities based on quick reads of the routes being run on their side of the field. This can confuse the QB by negating his pre-snap read of the coverage. The downside is that it can occasionally confuse the defenders themselves and completely ignores delayed releases into the pattern. Mizzou hurt them with the TEs and RBs. Auburn did the same by motioning a receiver and running his pattern out of the backfield. Bama didn’t make use of the RBs but their TE did damage at critical points in the game. In this respect Beck, Watson and Ingram are as dangerous as anything the Bulldogs have seen and our scheme is better. Kirby has shown a tendency to use a LB to spy mobile QBs. Rush 4, drop 6 + the spy sounds OK. But consider that probably leaves 3 deep, 3 under – which becomes 2 under once the RB slides out of the backfield. That is 5 guys covering 3 WRs and a TE. Unless they’ve got 3 shutdown cover guys (they don't), I like those numbers. I suppose they could rush 3 but then they’d either have to drop their best pass rusher or a 300+ lb DL into coverage. Either one is OK with me. Finally there is the tendency to cover a RB in the flat with a 240 lb LB. That may be fine in a league filled with power backs who are rarely called on the catch the ball. Not so good with quick, agile 200 lb RBs with good hands. Even if those LBs were as fast as their 215-220 lb Big XII counterparts, they won’t change direction as quickly – which is a big deal one-on-one in space. The final thing to note is the huge size gap between Georgia’s LBs and DBs. 4 of the 5 starters are 180-190 lbs. The 5th is 194. 2 of them are 6’1” and 2 are 5’11” so there are size and power mismatches available to LJ and CJ. I particularly like the idea of a 5’10” 180 lb NB covering LJ in the slot.

  14. Huge EJ update on remaining targets. Sorry don’t know how to do the spoiler hide thing With recruiting season in full swing, here are 40 tidbits ahead of the early singing period. — Things are starting to really get interesting with five-star IMG Academy (Fla.) running back Trey Sanders. Both offensive coordinator Tim Beck and running backs Stan Drayton made an in-home visit with Sanders earlier this week and really wowed him. Of course, Sanders has a strong relationship with Drayton, but it was genius to have Beck join him as he is one of the better recruiters on staff and gave Sanders a broader view of the way he would be utilized in the offense. Like I’ve said in the past, Sanders loves Texas, and the Longhorns have done enough to win him over. — We have been consistent about Sanders’ parents, who reside in northern Florida, wanting him closer to home. In fact, when I spoke to Sanders’ father at The Opening, he really downplayed his son’s interest in moving to Austin. However, since their September official visit, they have been growing more and more comfortable with Sanders playing his college ball at Texas. And wait for it… — According to a source, following their in-home visit with Texas this week, the Sanders family is fully on board with the Longhorns. This is a major development in this recruitment, and there seems to be growing optimism with Sanders. It will be interesting to see how things shake out once Herman makes an in-home next week. — Alabama should still be considered the frontrunner in this recruitment for now. Sanders was originally committed to the Crimson Tide, and the family has known the staff for years. On top of that, I have reason to believe Alabama was absolutely going to be the pick before his Texas OV in September. There is no doubt Texas is giving Nick Saban and company a run. This race is much tighter than it may seem on the surface. And again, winning over his parents was key, as Sanders has always personally loved Texas. — Alabama offensive coordinator Mike Locksley is heading to Maryland to take over as head coach. Will that have any affect on Sanders? I’m hearing that it is something the family is weighing and has been brought up over the last 48 hours. This is a prime opportunity for Texas to continue selling offensive improvement, Drayton’s resume and the need for a feature back. Locksley was very involved in Sanders’ recruitment, and the change couldn’t have come at a better time for UT. — Sanders and fellow elite IMG Academy (Fla.) running back Noah Cain did talk about playing together at the next level, but I just don't see it happening. They both really like LSU and Texas, but the Tigers have two backs in the fold and the Longhorns hold a commitment from Derrian Brown. Cain doesn’t want to be part of a three-back class. It would be shocking to see them sign with the same school. (Photo: @6sixGod_) — The other schools in the mix for Sanders are Florida, Florida State and Georgia. I put in a Florida Crystal Ball pick a long time ago when they signed his brother and have never changed it — I won’t until I have a really good idea of where he is going. I have still heard a bit of Florida buzz, but the Gators are behind Texas from what I have been able to gather. Sanders did make an official visit to Florida State, but there hasn’t been much movement there, and it looks like he will use his last OV on Georgia. But I haven’t heard much on Sanders and the Bulldogs. — Sanders and five-star Mater Dei (Calif.) athlete Bru McCoy have joked around on Twitter about teaming up at the next level. But it’s not just fun and games. Sanders and McCoy have had real conversations about playing together at Texas. They know they could leave their respective homes and be superstars in Austin from the moment they step foot on the Forty Acres. They had a chance to bond and get to know each other during their visit for the game against USC game. — Let’s switch gears and go in-depth on McCoy. Nothing has changed on the Texas side. There still appears to be plenty of cautious optimism, and UT wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer did an amazing job on the in-home visit this week. Mehringer met with the family for several hours and really connected with them. Out of all the coaches recruiting McCoy, Mehringer might have the closest relationship to him, especially after USC fired his lead recruiter, Tee Martin. The McCoy family feels comfortable with the Texas staff and have been open about legitimately being fine with seeing their son leave home. — I exchanged messages with McCoy’s mother, Shelby, who had this to say about the Texas in-home visit: “The visit went great. Bru really loves the Texas coaches. Coach Mehringer and Bru have a great connection. I’m looking forward to having them back next week (smiley emoji).” Mehringer and head coach Tom Herman are slated to meet with the McCoy family on Tuesday. — We’ve somewhat been underselling Herman’s involvement in this recruitment. While Mehringer is running point, Herman has been working hard on McCoy behind the scenes and also has an extremely close relationship with him. Herman is originally from California and played his college ball at Cal Lutheran. He knows how to relate to kids out West as evidenced by his success out there this cycle. Herman has made a huge impression on McCoy and has made himself extremely accessible for him and his family. (Photo: © John Gutierrez, USA TODAY Sports) — The play of Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Collin Johnson, a California native, is definitely a big selling point for McCoy. Both are bigger receivers that had amazing seasons in UT’s offensive scheme. McCoy is a similar type of player and could have an even bigger impact. While some see McCoy eventually moving to linebacker, he is focused on being a star at the receiver position. Texas is giving him the keys to come in and do whatever he wants to do in this offense — with success. But again, the biggest selling point for Texas is relationships. — Kliff Kingsbury is in Los Angeles. Let’s close the book and move on. Look guys, that’s not how the Texas staff is feeling and neither should you. Kingsbury was a tremendous hire for USC, and he has a chance to be a coaching superstar. He will improve the offense and can sell what Patrick Mahomes is doing in the NFL. But there is still plenty of uncertainty at USC. Clay Helton remains on the hot seat, and Kingsbury is sure to have more intriguing options come his way after next season. On top of that, Kingsbury has no preexisting relationship with McCoy. Again, the fired Martin was his lead recruiter. — Kingsbury is young and a great recruiter. But he only has a month to build a relationship with McCoy. Kingsbury will see McCoy at his game on Saturday and will spend extended time with him on his official visit on Dec. 14. As stated, Herman will get his shot with McCoy between those two meetings. The lack of a current relationship and the time crunch should give reason for optimism. — I’ll end the McCoy section with something I was told: McCoy and his family love Texas and have given every indication that they want to pick Texas. But they have to convince themselves of spurning USC. Remember, USC was a childhood dream school for McCoy, the family lives a short drive away from campus, and his father has great relationships around the program, including with AD Lynn Swann. The same could pretty much be said for the aforementioned Sanders. — Actually, here is one more note on McCoy. As you all should know by know, McCoy is really close to Texas commit De'Gabriel Floyd, who is setting the standard and giving elite California recruits that you can pass up USC and create a legacy at a place like Texas. Floyd is working extremely hard on McCoy and is having success. Texas quarterback Cameron Rising, another California native, has also been involved. (Photo: Luke Stampini, 247Sports) — Let’s move onto Noah Cain. Herman made an in-home visit with him and his mother immediately after coaching in the Big 12 title game. Remember, Cain’s mother still lives in Dallas, and Herman wanted to make sure to meet with them together before Cain got back on a plane to Florida. The visit was an overwhelming success as Cain and his mother got all their remaining questions answered. Cain loves the Texas staff, and the fact that he attended the Big 12 title game on his own dime speaks volumes. — I caught up with Cain during his training session with Christian White aka Coach Flight, who works with some of the best defensive backs in the country and also trains running backs. White has actually trained Texas defensive backs Caden Sterns, Kobe Boyceand Josh Thompson as well as Texas safety commit Tyler Owens. By the way, key defensive back target Jalen Catalon also trains with him. White isn’t going to push guys one way or another, but the fact that he has so many Texas guys around his circle can only help. — The Cain recruitment is still really murky. While we’ve seemed pretty confident on the surface, there have just been so many moving parts that I’m just not sure right now, and I don’t think any staff is. Cain was supposed to have made a silent commitment by now and still hasn’t. He is weighing his options extremely carefully. Right now, I’m actually hearing a bit more Penn State buzz than Georgia, but they are both big threats. — Georgia actually countered Herman and made an in-home visit with Cain and his mother the day before his flight back. They have been selling their running back history with guys like Todd Gurley and Sonny Michel, and that definitely has Cain’s attention. — Penn State has always been there and has a strong bond with Cain. We were actually told by a source before the start of the season that Penn State had the overall advantage. He loves the offensive system and envisions himself being used the same way as Saquon Barkley. — It’s funny, but I think I’m gaining more confidence with Sanders and losing a bit with Cain. Both recruitments are going to be extremely interesting to follow over the next couple of weeks as they are both set to make their decisions on Dec. 19. I’m not sure on Sanders, but Cain wants to inform staffs of his decision by late next week. We should have a better idea of where things stand then. (Photo: Billy Embody, 247Sports) — We haven’t talked a ton about four-star wide receiver Elijah Higgins. I know Higgins well, and I just think the recruiting process is weighing on him. Texas has done a good job of recruiting him hard but keeping its distance at the same time. Nothing is set in stone, but I expect Mehringer to make an in-home visit before the end of the week. — Higgins still loves Stanford, and right now, I would give the overall edge to the Cardinal. But as I reported yesterday, there are still some moving parts with the admissions process. If things don’t work out with Stanford, Texas is in a prime position to steal Higgins and keep him closer to home. This one is in wait and see mode as Higgins has no decision timetable. — There is nothing going on with Jake Smith. One of the most important commits in the class, Smith is fully locked in with the Longhorns and will sign during the early period. Beck had a great in-home visit with him and his father this week, and both told me they are sold and can’t wait to be in Austin. — The remaining target that I’m most confident in Texas landing is Fort Bend Dulles offensive lineman Isaiah Hookfin. Hand made an in-home visit with him on Tuesday, and I’m told the Longhorns are the clear leaders in his recruitment. From talking to sources, Hookfin is viewed in the same mold as Samuel Cosmi. He could end up being a steal for the Longhorns as he was one of the cycle biggest late bloomers. Hookfin will make his official visit to Texas on Dec. 14 and decide soon after. Baylor and Minnesota are the other two teams involved. — I’m also feeling really confident in the recruitment of JUCO inside linebacker Caleb Johnson. Texas defensive coordinator Todd Orlando had a great in-home visit with Johnson this week, and Herman will be out there to meet with him next week. Oregon was a childhood dream school but from what I was able to gather, the Ducks didn’t do enough to overtake Texas on his weekend OV. Oregon has plenty of linebacker commits this cycle, and Texas did a terrific job of selling scheme fit and depth chart. — The most important thing to Johnson in his recruitment is relationships. While Oregon offered late, Texas was always a constant in his recruitment. Johnson has a tight relationship with Orlando and also loves Herman. Johnson is originally from California and told me he loves Herman’s vibe and understanding of kids in the state. He also hit it off with Texas linebacker and fellow JUCO product Gary Johnson on his Texas OV. Caleb sees himself in the same mold. — The only offered target other than Cain that Herman made an in-home visit with was four-star Mansfield Legacy defensive back Jalen Catalon. He, along with Texas safeties coach Craig Naivar, did a nice job addressing questions that Catalon and his family had. Catalon already had a great relationship with the staff, but his parents actually haven’t been to campus very often. This in-home helped them get to know Herman and Naivar on a more personal basis. Still, the Longhorns are playing catch up here and will need to hit a homerun on his OV next weekend. — From talking to a source on the Arkansas side, there is overwhelming confidence with Catalon in Fayetteville. Catalon and his parents have a close, personal relationship with Arkansas head coach Chad Morris and share a lot of the same religious values. By the way, Morris’ sister, Michelle, is actually the girls basketball coach at Catalon’s high school. On top of that, Arkansas has two of his teammates committed in defensive linemen Enoch Jackson and Taurean Carter. While Arkansas struggled on the field, Morris has done an excellent job in this recruitment. — TCU is still hanging around in the Catalon recruitment. His parents have always like the program, and it’s extremely close to home. And I’m told they really want him in the vicinity hence why his finalists are regional schools. Catalon may make an official visit to TCU in January, which could delay his decision timeframe. — My Crystal Ball for Catalon is still on Texas, but it could be moving to Arkansas if the Longhorns aren’t able to create any real momentum next week. I actually wanted to change it shortly after his Arkansas OV, but I’ve had it in for Texas for so long. I think Texas has done enough with Catalon personally, but there is still a lot of work to do with his parents. That sounds a bit like the Sanders situation, but they have bought in. Catalon’s parents aren’t close just yet. I can’t state how important this OV is. — Could Texas earn a commitment this weekend? It’s possible. The Longhorns are brining in JUCO offensive lineman Jay Williamsthis weekend, and I put in a Crystal Ball pick. While Texas hasn’t offered, there doesn’t appear to be much movement with Myron Cunningham, and Williams may be the next man up. Hand made an in-home visit with Williams on Monday and set up the OV. Williams has some other big offers, but I’ve heard Texas can easily jump into the pole position with a successful weekend. — There have been a lot of questions about TCU offensive lineman Andrew Coker. Right now, Texas is still working on him and should see him on the road this week. Coker may make an official visit but nothing is set in stone. The Longhorns would still love to have him. And yes, they would take him, Hookfin and a JUCO prospect. — After landing Calvin Anderson a year ago, Texas looks to be testing the market for offensive line graduate transfers. Butler product Tommy Kennedy is starting to earn plenty of interest, and Hand is set to meet with him today. Kennedy has interest in the program and would love to visit. With Demariyon Houston off the board, it opened up another spot for the Longhorns in the trenches. I’m told they are happy with wide receiver numbers. — DeMarvin Leal, man. Look, I don’t expect Texas to flip the five-star Texas A&M defensive line commit before the end of the cycle. Heck, Texas might not even get a visit. But there isn’t a zero percent chance here. Texas did open some eyes with its season, and both Oscar Giles and Jason Washington have been in contact. I’m told his mother still loves Texas and would be open to visiting one last time. But I’m also told it’s going to be Leal’s call, and he loves Texas A&M. Right now, I’m expecting him to stick with the Aggies. — Herman and Washington made an in-home visit with four-star cornerback commit Kenyatta Watson II on Wednesday. Everything is perfectly fine here. While there was some drama after Texas hosted Kaiir Elam and Marcus Banks this season, the Longhorns did a nice job of defusing the situation and answering the family’s questions. Watson is locked in and will sign during the early period. — Herman and Washington also made an in-home visit with four-star running back commit Derrian Brown on Wednesday. Brown has been solid to Texas since committing in September, and the Longhorns have nothing to worry about here. Next up for Herman is an in-home visit with four-star wide receiver commit Marcus Washington, who is also solid. — Who will Texas pair with Brown if they miss on the elites? We’ve mentioned DJ Williams, but Miami seems to be in a great spot, and Alabama and Georgia are actively recruiting him as well. That should tell you that they aren’t overly confident about Sanders and Cain, respectively. Texas may get him for an official visit, but it’s not scheduled. JUCO running back Rhamondre Stevenson, a May grad, could be the next man up, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make an OV as well. — Does Texas have a shot at Garrett Wilson? While Urban Meyer did retire, the Buckeyes promoted from within, and Wilson is originally from Ohio. I don’t expect him to waver, but it is recruiting, and I’m sure Texas has reached out. Right now, however, I wouldn’t give the Longhorns more than a five percent chance.

  17. this is some sec scheduling logic right here. everything checks out, and i'm glad you're at least copping to it. -schedule mostly ooc cupcakes -only play 28% of the other division, and go several years totally missing key opponents -schedule a 1aa team late in the season, essentially giving everyone a free november bye week -start cancelling upcoming series with legit p5 teams?? all of the above (along with the alabama's history) ensures that most sec teams will stay high in the polls, which will create "good losses". anyone else notice how lsu moved up to 3 right before they played bama? how georgia cemented themselves at 4 right before they played bama? this is all to ensure that if bama lost, they'd still be in the top 4. if georgia had held on (up multiple scores and against a backup qb), then they would've made it in, and for the second year in a row, alabama would've made the playoff without winning their conference. so you already have that nonsense going, which other conferences can't seem to pull off. now you want to start getting teams in with 2+ losses? jesus h titty fucking christ, how many exemptions do you guys need?

  18. The bottom line is giving huge tax breaks to corporations and the uber wealthy is simple STUPID economically. SImply because the money multiplier effect is so much more muted than giving the same dollars to those that will send each and every last penny locally or in the US at the minimum. The reason that we did not get as hot an economy as soon after the crash of 2008 was that about half (from memory here) the stimulus was in the form of tax breaks for the wealthy. the payroll tax break was taken away at Republican insistence raising taxes on the working class while preserving tax breaks for the weathy in I believe the second Obama budget agreement. The sad thing is had we poured the same about of borrowing into building a national high speed rail system (or a gazillion other things I can think of) the economic stimulus effect would have been much much larger. stepping down of soap box now....

  19. Disingenuous analogy because you don’t call out any responsibility for or risk to others your friend has. The Republican Party isn’t some deadbeat friend drinking his life away in his apartment; their integrity has far-reaching consequences for Americans present and future. Maybe the better analogy is: the Republican Party is like your alcoholic friend who works as a police officer. He’s always drunk on the job, speeds through school zones, takes bribes, selectively enforced the law based on race, gender, or whatever criteria de jour, and is, overall, becoming an increasing danger to his community. You’re the guy buying him drinks before his shift. But I guess good for you being loyal to him at your community’s expense.

  24. How can you craft a coherent plan when you're not representing a coherent client? A client who can't speak without lying and is most certainly guilty? And a narcissist who thinks he's above the law and beyond reproach? And you're Rudy Giuliani, a crazy person. Yeah, good luck with that.

  25. JFC. You are judging her on tweets and shit. The only person who tries to pass laws by tweet is Trump. Let her actually put her 2 cents into some written bills and policies before you snap to judgments. Do you think Obama actually included 57 states in his draft EOs, or do you think he just slipped up in a statement? And bigger than that, she is fucking right. The military is a wasteful financial black hole, and worse, none of that waste is actually supporting our underpaid and underinsured troops. While you bitch about her off the cuff remarks, you are really just avoiding her underlying point. Healthcare for all is not only needed and possible, its also coming. You can be part of the solution or part of the problem.

  28. Trump is complete loser. He's navel lint. He's an infected pimple on the ass of America. What most of us are "obsessed" about is the 50-60 million people that have ditched decency, morality, and genuineness in favor of an obvious con man. There are dozens of moments DAILY where Trump shows his ass, and it's incredulous that his supporters continue to ignore it. The moment that we all stop caring about even the simplest gesture of decency or empathy is when this country is fucked for good. So myself and others will continue to call it out.

  29. Good one ^^^. We used to put the kids to bed, and then go up on our one story roof above their bedroom, and ring bells, and stomp around a bit. You could hear screams thru the roof that would cause hearing impairment.

  30. Wow... here we go politicizing this thread. For the record... Jimmy Carter was by far the worst fucking president I've ever been unfortunate enough to live under, and it's not even close. He really was way, way underquipped to do that job. However, when he passes, I will watch, mourn, and salute him for serving his country the best way he knew how, and will (like now) fly my house flag at half-mast for the week because a former President has passed. And I will thank him for serving and get teary-eyed if the eulogy has those elements in them. I salute ALL presidents for serving their country. Fuck politicizing ANYONE or ANYTHING in a memorial thread.

  31. Barring a bizarre turnover scenario, Missouri’s weak ass actually beats you and that is sad. Your records comparison stunt falls flat when all of the SEC mediocrities played an FCS school, and often a bunch of nothing beyond that in the non-con. You want to be credible in the argument? Play 9 conference games like a team with a fucking ballsack. Play a P5 expected to be competitive when scheduled. Until then, get the fuck out of here with your weak shit about who deserved what. You scheduled a bunch of dickless nothings and then fell back on your weak and shitty SEC East schedule while shouting and hooting “but SEC” in that backwater, play no-one, echo chamber of know-nothing hdillbilliies that you fuckwads live among. Your conference is Alabama and nothing worth discussing but for flashes in the pan. That is becoming clear to everyone paying attention.

  32. Full disclosure- ORIGINALLY POSTED by WIDE-E-WIDE Dec 2006 , 2 sites ago… Shamelessly copied and pasted for your enjoyment. Its been 12 years, but damn its still funny. After much deliberation, I will reluctantly tell the story of my family touring the Christmas lights in Waco last week. My wife told me about this thing at the beginning of December. To be honest I had forgotten all about it until the night before. I did not want to go. Call me a scrooge but riding around looking at electricity captured in colored bulbs is not my idea of entertainment. However, the kids were looking forward to it and apparently at some point I had agreed to do it. This little tour got us for 6 bucks a head. My wife, her parents, our 4 kids and I all went. Now I wasn’t a math major but that's $48 to ride around in a trolley and look at lights. WTF? (I found this out the day of) So we drive all the way the hell to downtown Waco and sit and wait for this trolley to take us on the tour. They’ve got a tree, Santa, hot cocoa- All that shit. Finally all the trolleys roll up and Shaquandra our official Christmas lights tour guide hops out and says “Y’all going to look at the lights?....(pause) Okay den let’s get our roll on!” My initial gripe is that the bitch is driving at mach speed and you can’t see shit but a blurry-ass Santa and the occasional Wal-Mart $9.99 wire light-up reindeer. My father-in-law asks if she could slow down a bit so that we could take pictures and appreciate the lights a little more..(his words not mine). By this time I’ve already leaned over and whispered in my wife’s ear “$48 for this shit?” She gives me the obligatory elbow and “stop being like that” We roll along for about 15 minutes looking at every tacky piece of shit overkill light extravaganza in East Waco. Suddenly we get on the highway and start heading to the other side of town. We ride for a good 12-15 minutes without seeing a single damn house decorated. So I lean over to the wife again and say “umm where the hell are we going?” Elbow “shut up” and all that again. Shaquandra has Mariah Carey’s Christmas cd blasting and we just getting our roll on...and then it happened. Signs and streets started to look really familiar. My oldest daughter says “hey there’s HEB.” As in the HEB right down the road from our house (approx. 1/2 mile) I lean over to the wife again “This bitch better not turn right at this light!” What does the driver do????? That’s right folks, fucking turns right and heads right to our neighborhood. Not only our neighborhood “BUT OUR FUCKING STREET!! I am just at a loss for words by this point. I cannot believe this is happening. Street after street, house after house for a good 30 minutes. The driver is going on and on about “oooh like over thurr- look at the Santa up on the roof kids.” I know bitch “I'M THE ONE THAT FUCKING PUT HIS FAT ASS UP THERE LAST WEEK" I can’t type this anymore it's just too painful. The point is, we spent almost $50 to look at the Christmas lights in our own damn neighborhood. My wife just hung her head in shame. I’ll be in charge of Christmas spirit next year thank you very much.

  35. I'm still hearing that we are pretty much leading for McCoy, Leal, Sanders, and Cain. Even if we don't land any of them, we are definitely number two, which is a pretty big win for the staff. When was the last time that UT was in the top 2 for so many 5 star out of state players? My source told me "we might not win the most god medals, but we're going to win the total medal count." That's a pretty impressive feat for Herman to pull off, especially when you consider that UT hasn't been good on the field in almost a decade. So everyone chill out, Herman's got this. There's a reason he's in MENSA.
