I sat next to a Nebraska fan group when they visited DKR in 1999. Every time Nebraska did something, this guy next to me would start shouting "Go Big Reeeeeeeedddd!" over and over, basically in my face. He was exuberant. Texas ended up winning and we were talking all kinds of shit back to him about Nebraska. That's when he took his Nebraska t-shirt off and left it on the bench and walked away in his undershirt. As he did so, he told us, and I am not making this up: "Who gives a shit? I'm an aggie. I just wanted to see you guys lose."11 points

Hey guys, the Republicans are back to tell us how to pick our nominee that they won't support, won't vote for but will spend years blaming for "bringing us Trump." Oh the sorrow, oh the shame! If only you had chosen someone else, I would have voted for them and we would have stopped Donald Trump!10 points

If you guys aren't fired up about Javonne Shepherd becoming a Texas Longhorn, then that's your fucking problem. This young man has been committed since last June and has not wavered. You know who's actually pushing an agenda with this recruitment? It sure as shit is not Footwork King, sirs. It damn sure isn't this young man himself. No, no, no. It's all of you nervous fuckers who can't hold their water. Stop being a fucking amoeba. Pull your shit together and get behind this young man and the finishing of his journey into signing day, and then becoming one of the most reliable, sturdy OLs this program has ever seen.9 points

God, I fucking hate this president, like really loathe, detest, abhor, and despise the motherfucker. I can't think of any other word and, unfortunately, the English language seems to be sorely lacking just the right word for how I feel about this bloated piece of shit.8 points

The aggy fairy tale about "more officers" is that "more A&M alumni served as officers during WWII than graduated from West Point and Annapolis combined." Henry Dethloff wrote a book on aggy history for the school's centennial. I have discussed this personally with Henry, but because he us a rather old man and wasn't malicious when he did it, I didn't discuss they claims being derived from his research are wrong. Dethloff's original claim was that A&M had 20,229 alumni serve in all ranks during WWII, with 14,123 having served as officers. For the record, I have contacted West Point and Annapolis. West Point had 9,802 alumni graduates serve as officers during WWII. Annapolis had 12,976. The total for the two academies is 22,778. So, we know West Point and Annapolis combined had more alumni serve as officers serve during WWII than A&M had alumni serving in all ranks. It seems that Dethloff's original claim was that A&M had more alumni serve than did West Point. That was bastardized by some aggy to be that A&M had more alumni than West Point or Annapolis. Then it got bastardized to be that A&M had more than USMA and USNA combined. Once again, the classic aggy pattern of hishonesty. Start with a kernel of truth, bastardize the hell out of it, then point to the kernel of truth, claiming that small element "verifies" the bastardized claim. It was the same way they came up with their 12th Man fairy tale, their "oldest university in Texas" fairytale, their "our yell leader tradition started in 1907 when a cadet put on the janitor's outfit" and most, if not all the other famous aggy lies. Note that aggy is tracking total alumni who served and comparing it to graduates of the academies. And apple and oranges comparison. The aggy officer total is roughly equally divided between graduates and non-graduates. Under the "non-graduate category they include individuals who dropped out and were later 90-day wonders as well as people such as Horace Carswell who attended A&M for a semester in the early 1930s, left A&M to spend 4 years at TCU, graduate from TCU and then serve as an officer. It seems the total of aggys serving on active duty when the war broke out was about half of their total for graduates. Their studies while at A&M during the war were extremely condensed and they were quickly handed diplomas. So the aggy claim of more officers than the combined totals of the academies if unquestionably fraudulent and is an example of aggys intentionally lying about their school's "military history." It is a complete lie and fabrication. When using aggy's comparing apples and oranges by comparing their alumni to the graduates of the academies, they had more alumni serve than either of the academies. For WWI, fewer aggys served than did UT alumni. 52 aggys are listed on the state memorial attached to DKR as having died serving in WWI. I think the number of UT alumni who gave their lives while in service during WWI is 98. The ags also have a claim that 49% of the school's graduates served during WWI. From 1876-1918, the school had 1472 graduates (numbers taken from school's report to the legislature). This total represents less than 8% of the students enrolled at the college during this time (yes, aggy's dropout rate from 1876-1918 was over 92%). They claim 702 graduates served during WWI with 668 commissioned as officers. They also claim 565 undergrads served as officers during WWI with 1233 "aggys" serving as officers during the war. It seems that Dethloff's work in totaling the number of aggy officers during WWII stems from the 1918 report of the college to the legislature. I know of no research into aggy officer numbers for Korea or Vietnam. As an aside, when I contacted the Lt.Col in the History Department at West Point I was first referred to to verify the West Point alumni numbers, his immediate response was "Who in the Hell would care about such a stupid thing?" I explained to him about the Texas A&m claim and his response was "Well, that sounds like something idiots from that place would be obsessed over." And yes, I have emails and other original source documents to back all this up.8 points

I will absolutely talk myself into Shep's ability to make a contribution if he sticks. And if he doesn't we're better off without him because he's overweight and a character risk and he would be a locker room cancer. But let's be honest. The only real reason we want him is delicious aggy tears.7 points

GOP doesn't give a shit about separating families that legally seek asylum at the border, but they will write a STRONGLY WORDED LETTER to the FBI because a privileged, white criminal wasn't arrested in a more respectful way. Most people that hear "the Republican Party are traitors" probably chuckle and kind of dismiss it as partisan bloviating. America being under attack by the GOP is the actual reality. This isn't old school politics where Ds and Rs fuck with each other to pass some bill. The endless cruelty, bad faith, gaslighting, and lies from the GOP are nothing I've seen before in an American political party. They stopped playing games aimed at hurting a political opponent. They've focused their attack on actual civilians. Separating families, government shutdowns, voter suppression, racism, nationalism. They are promoting and encouraging support of their complete amorality. Time for everyone to wake up.6 points

Now wait a damn minute, sir. I find it hard to believe that anyone over at Texags would take money from that community on a regular basis and in return only tell them things that they wanted to hear with no basis in reality required while all the while pretending to be providing expert services but actually misleading the audience merely for personal gain.6 points

So under that same logic, God wanted Obama to be president also? Do you think God was wrong on that decision Sarah? Also, while we're at it, what is God's stance on rawdogging porn stars while your 3rd wife is breastfeeding your newborn son?6 points

As Commander in Chief, I would, of course have to inspect our wonderful coed showers. They're really beautiful. Wonderful really. Showers. Coed. Really great. You have the women and the men working together to save this great, beautiful country from space. Invaders. Space invaders. I saw it on the cyber. Every ex President has secretly told me they wanted to do a deal for a Space Force that will use the Wall as a runway. We can build this cheap and quick. I'm a builder. Fake News won't tell you that. Witch hunt. Cyber. Beautiful. No that's not dribble on my chin; It's win juice.6 points

Been too busy with work to keep an update going over the last 2 weeks. Here it goes: Went to Dallas two weekends ago for a wedding and had two burgers and tots at Keller's. Fuck the diet. I love that place. Got back Monday and stepped on the scale Tuesday morning and hadn't gained or lost any weight. Sweet. Stepped on the scale this morning and I was 208.4. I've lost probably 4 pounds in January. At this point, I believe that I am starting to really add some muscle mass as I've been upping my protein intake on days that I go to the gym. I've also added in a fiber supplement at my doctor's advice. You can get the no sugar metamucil that has 3 carbs per teaspoon as opposed to the sugary version that has near 9 carbs per teaspoon so I went with the no sugar. This week I have honestly been feeling absolutely fantastic. It's nice being back in the gym on a regular basis. I'm about to hit 110 lbs lost since April 2018 which is just staggering to me. I'll probably settle in around the 195-200 lbs mark and work on muscle definition. Protein supplements might be necessary but it'd be worth it. Good job everyone. Keep on going!5 points

HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAH. The top? LMMFAO. The top of what you stupid fuckshit? Clemson is the only team at the top. The only top I care about is a national title. The last game you played was another non-competitive humiliation so congrats on the Sooner version of "the top". The fact that you think that Blinkin's reply is somehow "firing back" is funny as fuck. The fact that you think you are at the top is fucking HILARIOUS. You guys don't even realize that just like Cale's stupid fucking post that got you guy all riled up and excited - the constant BigXII title mantra from Big Game Bob was always a deflection from his inability to win, or even be competitive, in big games anymore. So he makes it about Texas and for you and all of your Dirt Burglar brethren that's enough - because face it - it is. If you beat Texas you're fine with it. 4 losing seasons since 1965? WGAF? The last time you won a national title the current recruiting class wasn't alive. As to your 4th qtr comment - we ARE figuring it out. It's called depth you stupid fucking methhead. We took some lumps over the past 2 seasons to make sure that we could RS entire OL/DL classes. So that we have depth in the trenches, something we haven't had in more than a decade. To that end we are bigger, stronger, faster, and deeper than we've been and getting bigger, faster, stronger, and deeper with each class. You know -- actively addressing the systemic issues that we have. Go back and watch the Sugar Bowl - watch Keondre Coburn and Joseph Ossai and ask yourself why Texas didn't play them all season. Now tell me, what the fuck OU is doing to change the systemic failures that show every time that you play a team that has comparable depth/talent? Those losses to Alabama, UGA, Clemson - you're not closing the gap there. You aren't addressing those systemic issues - you continue to recruit small and/or athletically limited players in the back 7 and maxed out guys up front. The issues haven't been guys not in position (ie. gameday coaching) - the issues have been that they aren't physically capable of making the plays - late to the run fills, incapable of maintaining gap integrity, too small, too weak. That's not changing, it's actually getting worse under Riley. Oh, I know before you babble about it - "Grinch is gonna fix all that" I'd bet you actually believe that. The reality is that you have been the best team in the Big XII and have been for a while. The other reality is that both Texas and OU and distancing ourselves from the rest of the conference. Going forward there are going to be a lot of top 10 meetings between our 2 teams. The systemic difference is that you guys are not built to win against opponents with comparable talent. It's not a hope, it's a trend. It's measurable. The bad news for you is that we are getting to the point where we have comparable talent/depth and are systemically much more physical. Also a trend.5 points

Winter vortex moves in and it's frigid. Woke up this morning to -6 with windchill of -20. Last night when I got home from work it was somewhere around 20 outside. First thing I see when I open the door is a space heater in the hallway. It just so happens to be right under the thermostat for the downstairs. So, it's 70 or so in the hallway, but the rest of the downstairs is probably between 50 and 55. Basement is frigid. I shake my head, unplug the space heater, and tell the wife that I'm starting a fire (we have fireplace inserts in the basement and on the main level that can heat the entire house). She says "Why? It's 70 degrees in the house!"5 points
