@Ricky's one-hitter gave you the goods, and yeah - that's good enough for OT. Let me give you the full uncut direct to the vein version ... Hayden Conner is IMHO currently one of the most underrated prospects in the country and Texas specifically. His HUDL and full game tape is as good as you will find for an OL. I said before that the only thing standing between Conner and 12 years in the NFL is his 3 years of eligibility (please let it be 5) is that he may actually be too smart for the sport of football -- this is where we all take a moment and hope that he has a lot of Justin Blalock in him and wants to grind people to dust before spending a career bending time/space. The fact that he has not just good NFL measurables (specifically that wingspan) but elite ones -- makes his ranking all the more comical. The love affair that the 9.95ers have with Bryce Foster who is all athletic potential with horrendous film and an inability to actually play the sport of football right now -- while ignoring that Conner is an elite OL prospect is mind blowing. The funniest part is that each successive year the "Texas doesn't develop talent" narrative gets closer to not only dying, but being flipped in the other direction. Conner's rating on 247 (3* and 99 in TX) is going to be another data point of the "incredible development" - when really it'll be turn him over to Yancey and clean a couple of things and send him to the draft. The number of OL guys that have better combo of ht/wt/wingspan/film/smarts/athletic upside is fucking minuscule, and there are several 5 and high 4 star OTs that don't meet his standard in any one of those.31 points

To be fair he is absolutely the biggest beneficiary of Herman/McKnight/Chang and their ability to identify late-rising jumbo athletes. These aren't guys that Hand identified and built relationships with, they are guys (like Jones, Hookfin, etc ) that the support staff have identified and built a relationship with first. I think that's why we've seen some offers/interest from Hand that simply don't fit with what we've done. I believe in Chang, McKnight, and Herman - I don't know that I believe in Hand. I do think he did a fantastic job helping Texas land the grad transfers. Simply false and not at all how he recruits. Byrd has many influences on his recruitment and certainly some will be negative influences re: Texas -- but that is just not how Samples recruits at all. Wells and Nahlin are absolutely shitting up 2020 with butthurt, bad information, crybaggery, and outright horseshit.17 points

You can't make this shit up- Over at one of my wife's friends on Saturday for a small gathering. Grilling out, beers, etc. Well my wife brought a dish that needed to be cooked in the oven. Wife's (single) friend- I preheated the oven to 200 degrees anything over that and it will burn Me- What? WSF- Yeah, it's a new oven and anytime I cook anything over 200 it burns. I need to call the service guy back out Me-WTF? Looking at the oven for 5 seconds.. I fixed your oven. WSF- OMG what did you do?????? Me- turned it from Celsius to Fahrenheit............... So I asked her what the first thing she cooked was- A frozen pizza: 425F she had the oven set to 800 Fucking degrees! WSF- No wonder everything was burning.17 points

Did you know that corn comes in many colors? That's right--corn can be bright white all the way down the spectrum to a dark purple, almost black! Then again, most of the corn you'll see in the grocery store is the color of Mackenzie's teeth--a beautiful yellow! Now you know!15 points

I felt that there was always a phoniness in their "welcome to Lincoln" schtick. I mean, we go out of our way to be super friendly to road fans, but we're usually losing. And when you walk into Jack Trice, there isn't a self-serving butt fucking plaque that reads "through these gates pass the greatest fans in college football". If they had been the runt of the litter in the Big 8, they wouldn't have been anywhere near as friendly. They showed their true colors in their divorce with the Big 12.13 points

I hate Nebraska in ways a Texas fan couldn't possibly understand. So I get this. But I miss having that kind of hate in conference. I don't really hate anyone in the Big 12 except for Baylor, and that doesn't really have anything to do with sports. If you're a fan of a Big 8 school other than maybe Oklahoma, you hate Nebraska with every fucking fiber of your being and miss having the opportunity to punk them, or given the case with their recent program, just reign blows down upon their ragged corpse as payback for 50 years of dominance, and then taking their ball, going home, and leaving us for dead on the side of the road. God, I fucking hate those cock suckers.13 points

You are out of your mind if you don't want Nebraska back in this conference. This conference needs Nebraska and Nebraska needs this conference. You add Nebraska and any other team (maybe Cincinnati for the market and proximity to WVU) and we go back to 12, get a real championship game and move away from the Texas-centric geography that killed the SWC. Sure, they acted like total cunts when they left, but it was a bad breakup for everybody. They have been circling the drain since they left and honestly, we have too. Still, they are one of the blue bloods of college football. If you have a chance to add them to your conference, it's a no brainer. Their rivalry with OU and history with the rest of the Big 8 leftovers is something that you can't buy or manufacture. That shit still matters in this sport. Also... a lot has changed with regard to media rights since they bailed. Cord cutting is going to make the next Big 10 TV deal look a lot different than their current one.11 points

As one of the founders, I appreciate this greatly. I wish I still had time to be involved with it, but you know, life changes. God, those early days were a shit load of fun. Other than sweating out realignment of course. Our actual first piece was a Craigslist personal for a 150 year old Land Grant college that was looking for a new conference.10 points

Taking Nebraska back would be akin to taking back your psycho ex girlfriend that left 9 years ago in search of some new dick, and talked mad shit on her way out the door. Now upon learning that the cocks aren't always girthier on the other side, she's back talking about the good times . Except those intervening years have been hard, and she's now packing an extra 50lbs and a meth habit. Yeah......taking her back seems like a GREAT idea. She absolutely won't be the same psycho she was 9 years ago. She's changed, lulz.9 points

you should get your absentee ballot and drop it off in person at a polling location. The main problem with in person voting is the queue and having to fill out the entire ballot while you are there. If you can fill the ballot out at home and just "drop it off" that will substantially reduce the amount of exposure you get to the general public at a polling location.9 points

LMAO. No, both of our OLs are not beyond shit. As a fanbase that has witnessed shit OL for the last 10 years, we can tell you our OL has dramatically improved. We have one top 15 pick at LT and a 2nd OL that is going to get drafted as well this year. Our LG looks like a future NFL player if he continues developing. We have 10+ blue chip OL recruits from the 2018 and 2019 cycle. This year's recruiting has been shit but please don't confuse that with our OL and depth being shit. We actually run a functioning offense. And if we have holes at certain positions on OL, Herman has proven to be able to get experienced grad transfers to fill the immediate needs. Your OL on the other hand is going to look like what we dealt with during the Mack and Strong era. Jimbo has completely fucked up a position that was a strength for you guys just like he did at FSU. There is a reason Mond is running for his life and no RB wants to play in that offense. We have witnessed the direction your offense is heading. I'm beyond shocked you guys are paying Jimbo this much money for an outdated offense no one wants to play in.9 points

Being a Kstate fan I agree with this 100%. They beat up on Kstate and the other Big8 schools (minus OU) for 60+ years, just pummeling our faces in while smiling about what great fans they are. When Kstate finally started beating NU consistently (5-2 from 98-04) they couldn't take it and fired Solich which started their downward spiral to where they are now. Then they left us and their 100+ year history with the Big8 schools to prove they were still relevant. I would have loved nothing more than to have spent the last 10 years jumping up and down on their dying corpse as corn kernels shot from their mouth like BB's. I want them back in the Big12 for that reason alone, to kick them while they are down until there is no more leather left on my shoes.8 points

There's absolutely no fucking excuse that Herman should lose to Riley this year. Senior QB versus a brand new QB in his third game. And then we beat they ass on Dec 19 again.8 points

I'm going to break my cardinal rule of posting articles by going full format when pasting instead of plain text just to capture all the links. Those wacky Conways just give me all the emotions and feels. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/08/10/i-still-believe-president-president/ I (still) believe the president, and in the president August 10, 2020 at 5:39 p.m. CDT I believe the president Made America Great Again. I believe we need him reelected to Make America Great Again Again. I believe Joe Biden is “Sleepy” and “weak.” I believe Biden could “hurt God” and the Bible. I believe that if Biden is elected, there will be “no religion, no anything,” and he would confiscate all guns, “immediately and without notice.” He would “abolish” “our great,” “beautiful suburbs,” not to mention “the American way of life.” There would be “no windows, no nothing” in buildings. I believe the news media would have “no ratings” and “will go down along with our great USA!” if the president loses — and that this would be bad even though the media is fake. I believe it’s normal for the president to say “Yo Semites” and “Yo Seminites,” “Thigh Land,” “Minne-a-napolis,” “toe-tally-taria-tism,” “Thomas Jeffers” and “Ulyss-eus S. Grant.” I believe it’s Biden who’s cognitively impaired. I believe the president “aced” a “very hard” impairment test, and that his “very surprised” doctors found this “unbelievable.” I believe it was “amazing” he remembered five words, such as “person, woman, man, camera, TV” — in correct order. I believe he took the SAT himself. I believe the president has “a natural ability,” like his “great, super-genius uncle” from MIT, which is why he understands “that whole world” of virology and epidemiology. So I believed the president in January and February when he said covid-19 was “totally under control,” that it was Democrats’ “new hoax,” and that he was “not at all” worried about a pandemic. I believed him in March when he said he “felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic.” I believe the president and the doctor who believes in demon sperm and the medical use of space alien DNA, and not Anthony S. Fauci, who’s an “alarmist” and “wrong.” I believe the president’s suggestions that physicians should try injecting patients with household disinfectants, and shining ultraviolet light inside their bodies, make perfect sense. I believe the “books” and “manuals,” if someone would just read them, say “you can test too much” for covid-19. I believe we now have 5 million cases because we test so much, and that the president was right to slow testing down, unless he was kidding — in which case he was right not to. I believe that the president has done a tremendous job fighting the virus — and that he shouldn’t “take responsibility at all”— even though about 160,000 Americans have died. I believe the virus “is what it is.” I believe it isn’t racist to call the coronavirus “kung flu” or “the China Virus.” It isn’t racially divisive to say Black Lives Matter is a “symbol of hate,” to celebrate Confederate generals as part of our “Great American Heritage,” or to share video of someone shouting “white power,” which, like displaying the Confederate flag, is “freedom of speech.” I believe that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” and that the president was just stating a fact, not making a threat, when he said that. I believe it was fine for federal law enforcement to fire tear gas and rubber pellet grenades at protesters so that the president could pose with a Bible in front of a church. I believe that a 75-year-old protester in Buffalo may have been “an ANTIFA provocateur” who intentionally cracked his own skull in a “set up.” I believe Rep. John Lewis made a “big mistake” not attending the president’s inauguration. I believe the president has done more for Blacks than any other president — perhaps even Abraham Lincoln, who “did good” although the “end result” was “questionable,” and certainly more than Lyndon B. Johnson, who signed into law the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which hasn’t “worked out” so well. I believe the president has been treated worse than Lincoln, even though Lincoln was assassinated. I believe the president should be added to Mount Rushmore, pronto. I believe it’s normal that the president wished his friend Ghislaine Maxwell “well” and good luck,” even though his administration charged her with sex trafficking teenage girls for another presidential friend, Jeffrey Epstein, whom the president says may have been killed in federal custody. I believe the president rightly said of Maxwell, “Let them prove somebody was guilty.” I believe we don’t need evidence against former acting attorney general Sally Yates, because she was “part of the greatest political crime of the Century,” about which “ObamaBiden knew EVERYTHING!” And I believe it was fine for the president to baselessly suggest that a television host committed murder since the host said mean things about the president. I believe that the reports Russia paid bounties to have U.S. soldiers killed, and that the president was briefed on it, are another “Fake News Media Hoax,” and that such intelligence never reached the president’s desk, even though his administration said otherwise. I believe absentee voting, where voters mail in their ballots, is good, and that mail-in voting, where voters mail in their ballots, is totally different, and bad — and will result in “the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election” in history. Except in Florida, where absentee and mail-in voting are the same and both good, “because Florida has got a great Republican governor.” I believe we should “Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote” — but that “SCHOOLS MUST OPEN IN THE FALL!!!” I believe the president won the popular vote in 2016 “if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.” I believe he shouldn’t accept the election results if he loses in November.8 points

We need to pretend we are going to rip off their heads and shit down their necks when they lose. And when they lose we need to skull fuck them. (Okay, that's it really. No more negativity.
