  7. Poe is an un-American, fascist boot licker, but he's also one of our longest tenured trolls and y'all are falling for his rope-a-dope schtick. Abbot has done a completely reprehensible thing and pardoned a murdering wanna-be pedo. It is literally indefensible, so Poe is going to troll you to change the topic. Now the conversation is no longer about Abbott, but instead, it's about how big of a piece of shit Poe is. Being a piece of shit is something Poe relishes, so you are getting in the mud with a pig and he's enjoying it. Fuck Greg Abbott. Motherfucker is the former Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and the AG. He knows the law and wields it as a cudgel against his fellow Texans.

  25. There is a ghost town in the Texas Panhandle named Glenrio, Texas. It's on the old Route 66, right where Texas and New Mexico meet. If you look at this photo, Texas ends and New Mexico begins where the pavement changes color. It's pretty desolate there. But that white building, the only structure? That's the Glenrio smoeke shop in New Mexico. You can legally buy all the marijuana, gummies etc ... that you want right there, within about 150 yards of Texas. Texas is so dumb.

  26. Tender has some things to say When you look at Putin and his entourage in China, you just see a broken servant who asks for another bowl from his master. It is pathetic in so many ways. Russia, which was once calling the shots in East Asia and subverted and stole from Qing-China when dictating the Treaty of Aigun, is now the asking Beijing for help. It reminds us when Moscovia had to pay tribute to the Golden Horde back in the 14th Century. This is just a modern version of it. You can say what you want, but Beijing plays it cards well. China holds Russia by the balls with iron grip and even in Russia many silently admit that this is an unequal "alliance", if at all. From a Chinese perspective, the infamous Unequal Treaties of the 19th Century have always been a thorn in the collective Chinese conscience, but while the British, Portuguese, German and Japanese imperial domains have been gone long ago, Russia is literally the only one who controls territory "acquired" from that time. Of course, officials from China and Russia will hastily point to the recent treaties both countries have signed concerning that matter, but Russia tries to establish a world where this is but ink on paper, being absolutely blindsided that Russia just only digged its own grave by having this powerful and hungry neighbor at its doorstep, who already uses Chinese names for Russia's far eastern territories and cities, such as Vladivostok. Just check out "Hǎishēnwǎi". That alone speaks volumes The best joke, however, is that it is Russia and its lesser minions who claim that Western nations are colonies of the USA, but this is pure projection on their part. Russia is so dependent on China that the debt won't be repaid in a lifetime. Additionally, Russia's demographic catastrophe was even before the open war a headache for Moscow, but with the hundreds of thousands of dead Russians, as well as the even more wounded, but more importantly the million of Russians who abandoned their home country since February 2022, this will become the most unpayable mortgage any nation can handle. And the bank will come for you, not matter what, when you can't pay. Chinese do take advantage of this situation, and honestly, I do not blame them. President Xi would be foolish not to do so. This one-sided partnership - at least at the moment - only brings advantages to China, on the expense of Russia. But even President Xi knows that China has severe weaknesses. China's housing crisis is an economic, nuclear time bomb, which could trigger a cascade of other problems. Demographically China is even more a mess than Russia. Only the large economic growth mitigated the problems, for now. But with the US Biden administration ratcheting up tariffs the US hit China where it hurts. It can go even more problematic when all Western nations decide that they will put any Chinese company as well as the Chinese banks behind it on sanctions lists, when they continue to help Russia in its war in Ukraine. In the end, it is only a cost-benefit calculation which drives any leader in the world. The West has to put Russia into a situation where others will consider it too much of a risk and too expensive. Once Beijing sees the advantages outpaced by the incoming costs, this "partnership" - even when being unequal - will end from one day to another. When this will happen is primarily up to us in the West.

Carry an AK in public, get shot!” After they’ve spent years telling us that the Lord God Jehovah himself decreed that all men are entitled to carry any firearm they want anywhere they want. Please, go on. This is delicious.

  33. Had to log on during victory beer. Holy fucking shit what a game guys. I don't think I've ever been as mad about a call outside of a handful of Texas football games. Thank god Karma played out the right way tonight. Great game by the entire fucking team. Otter played out of his mind. Benn - huge goal. Tanev, nails. Miro was Miro. Marchment - won it the first time (was my #Bucciovertimechallenge pick for the record and first time I ever actually picked correctly), Johnston and Stank all over the ice, gritty 4th line was a gritty 4th line all damn game, then the Duchene winner and old man Pavelski digging it out for him. The low key play of the game might have been Robertson laying the fuck out to block the puck in the 3rd period (I think). It was a hell of play. I love this fucking team. So pumped for more games at the AAC! LETS GO STARS!

  35. LSU got a commitment due to Moore’s TB teammate committing there. They’re not a serious player in NIL. They can’t commit to shit on that front for many folks. They really need that top QB. The Moore LSU commitment/decommitment won’t sting them nearly as much as Perrilloux’s antics, but I hope it fucking hurts. I hope they know that people are laughing at them.

  36. Let me get this right - Him making more money now, at a school that just had two high draft picks at his position, having a future 1st round QB throwing him passes, a 10x better education, in his home state, playing with former teammates, in one of the best cities in America is a choice?

  37. This morning, running errands, I decided the OTF podcast, where Bobby Burton interviews a leader of TexasOne Fund would be the thing to listen to. WOW! It was so impressive! For comparison, a couple of months ago, I listened to an OU ON3 75 minute podcast interview with the director of the OU collective. It was almost exclusively talk dealing with issues of having enough money, what’s required to be competitive in recruiting, whether the money is apportioned efficiently, how they determine players’ values, and so on. In comparison to TexasOne, it was just so…crass. The OTF podcast explains the exposure the athletes get to mentors, to community charities (and the other community leaders that help with charities), regular education in financial literacy, and so on. Night and day difference. We can be proud of how our donations are used.

  38. MTG is not a strategic thinker. She's not trying to delay anything or deter any Dems from doing something more effective than responding to her. She's a QAnon true believer lunatic and, while I know it seems like it should be incredibly obvious to everyone, actually publicly stating what a stupid crazy person she is isn't just a waste of time it's actually necessary politics. Part of the job of being an elected representative is establishing in the minds of the public what is acceptable and what is unacceptable behavior and I don't mean by demonstrating professional behavior in response to unprofessional behavior. I mean pointing out for the audience that is the American public "this person is fucking insane," because there are tens of millions of Americans who don't understand that on their own and do in fact need to be told.
