  1. Folks, I may stroke out tonight--not kidding. Every time she rails a line off his fat ass, I do a shot. Shoutout to YGIFS on that other plane.

  4. I appreciate your passion about this but Sark said post game that the wind was costing them something like 7 yards on kicks and they wanted the wind at their back in the fourth quarter just in case. It made me appreciate his attention to detail and forethought. It also made me realize that we have come a long way since Charlie Strong kicked off both halves.

  5. CNN keeps bringing up Kamala needing to appeal to man. How about men stop being fucking pussies about letting a woman lead? That motherfucker shouldn't get your vote just because he has a dick. He is the emotional one. He is the unhinged one. He is everything those stupid cucks say why they don't want to vote for a woman. Stop being a thick headed fuckstick. He's a delusional old man. He's not John McCain. He's not Mitt Romney. He's not George W Bush. He's a charlatan. He's a fake. Stop being drawn to him because he gives off false machismo. It's all bullshit. Look at how he wilted whenever a woman was "rough" on him.

  14. For those who check on this thread for football team info, I've C&P'd their snapcount data through the first two games. A few notes below: -They benched Bryce Anderson as a starter. He could be starting at Texas but had to get that $250k bag while forgoing his future earning potential. Get fucked, dummy. -Shanahan was forced to play snaps at C while not being listed there. They have since announced that Erb, who is 6'7", will be the back-up C going forward. They worked Dewberry at C during practices last week and he was a disaster. -Speaking of Dewberry, he barely got snaps in garbage time against McNeese State. He can get fucked as well. -Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, all 5 stars of his fat ass, got a whopping 7 snaps against McNeese State. There are multiple walk-ons on the DL who got more snaps. -This is a reminder that the rankings of GBD, Doooby Doooby Dew, Shanahan, and Anderson all factor into the lazy 247 "talent composite index" or whatever the fuck it is called. -Some WR from Troy that they were all knob-slobbing in the spring until he got hurt came back and played 8 irrelevant snaps. -Bussey played a bunch. Tarp reports that they're only comfortable with jet sweeps and reverses for him at WR. Apparently, he's just running around on routes and not usually where he is supposed to be and they don't trust him yet. The guy is talented and this was game 2, so I assume he's actually going to get better and play more. -Starting WR Walker broke a finger early in the game and played one snap. The Elk lied about his status after the game and said he could have returned. "All Day" Jahdae is kind of needed this week, so I'm going to be entertained when he's in street clothes on the sidelines. -Scooby Williams, the terrible but needed starting LB, didn't suit out. The Elk attempted to downplay how badly he's hurt, but couldn't confirm that he'd be ready for SEC play. -Elko won't let reporters say anything definitively about injuries, even season-enders, so enjoy that skirting from Tarp in the write-up. Also, I've said this was going to be a bad team all offseason for reasons that are playing out and can be seen in the snapcounts. The JAGger Index for this team is through the fucking roof.

  15. i started working as “gym manager” (essentially running basketball and volleyball tournaments, set up and tear down equipment, work with game officials, deal with injuries, accidents, parents, etc) at my former school when i was 15 years old and got my first work permit. i worked that job until my early 30’s. during that time running the gym at a parochial school i dealt with more than my fair share of shitty parents with bad attitudes, loud mouths, and a failure to understand that 5th grade b team volleyball isn’t the fucking olympics. throughout all of those years i never once raised my voice to a shitty parent; never once cursed; defintely never threatened to attack or injure someone, much less actually do it. do y’all know how entitled 40 - 60-something rich people are? how goddamn uppity west austin sports parents can be? and yet it was my responsibility, at 15, at 30, on my best day, on my mentally ill worst day, to keep the peace, to be the adult, and to handle the situation in a calm manner, even when a rich, snobby, entitled parent is screaming across the gym at the scorer’s table about the score being wrong (it’s not), or getting in an official’s face over a call they disagree with, or because i asked their shitty kid to stop punting volleyballs all over the gym. i just want to ask everyone here who is making excuses for these dipshit cops why they hold these LEO’s to a lower standard than the one i was held to while running sports games for 11 year old rich kids and their loudmouth, entitled parents? why should i, specifically me, even at the age of 15, be asked to/able to be more of a calm, rational adult at such a low stakes job, than the LEO’s who carry badges, guns, and nearly unfettered power over all of us? seriously. think about what you’re saying, what you’re trying to justify. you’re holding the most powerful people to the lowest standard. be better.

  22. That’s the fucking problem and why so many people hate police. In traffic stops 99.99% of the time the person isn’t looking to blast a cop with a hidden gun. That they approach these things as though every person they pull over is an enemy is what is fundamentally broken in US policing, they are trained that way. They are not acting like civil servants but more like an occupying force seeing enemies around every corner. There are many ways to deescalate when the speeder is being a jerk, and ways to assess if there is cause to believe that something else is going on like a dead hooker in the trunk. Assuming that every speeder is looking to blast you over a traffic ticket is complete horseshit. Fuck the police.

  24. I have to disagree with some of this. It's a misperception that turnovers are always unforced errors. Alabama turned the ball over in that game because Texas' D-line was beating their ass all night. When Milroe threw it right at Barron, that wasn't an unforced mistake. Barron baited Milroe into that throw; that's what Jahdae Barron does. Sure, any game can go differently if a few key plays break the other way, but there was as much shooting of itself in the foot by Texas in that game as by Alabama (e.g. Xavier Worthy dropped TD, Bert Auburn missed FG). Early in the fourth quarter, Texas trailed 16-13 after mostly controlling the game. On the two Alabama could-be-touchdowns that were called back, one was a blatant hold by the Tide which prevented a Texas sack of Milroe. The other was a near-interception by Jaylan Ford that bounced right off his hands. I'm not a fan of the woulda coulda shoulda game, but if we're going to play that game, those weren't two should-be touchdowns for Alabama; it was a should-be sack and a coulda-been interception for Texas. Texas could've won by more than it did. The narrative coming out of that game was, yes, great game by Texas, but this isn't the same Alabama team as in the past. Alabama fans almost universally believed that Texas won because Milroe is trash when in fact it was clear watching that game that Milroe made a lot of great plays and that his playmaking was the only thing keeping Alabama in it. Almost no one was predicting that Alabama would run the table or reach the playoff. This was a flawed team that had at least another loss or two on the schedule. We saw how it turned out. 2024 Michigan won't be as good as 2023 Alabama. I'm still not buying that they are absolute trash and will lose 5 or 6 games. That's just the narrative that emerges when Texas goes in and beats the doors off a national power early in the season. In a contrarian take, I also don't expect Warren to be as bad as most people are saying. While inconsistent, he flashed with quite a few really good throws. The 4th and 4 throw for 15 yards with a blitzer right in his face was absurd. Like Sark said, Texas is good. This is who we are. The rest of the country needs to get used to it.

  26. Truly, that seems like a perfect post by Taylor Swift. She is being respectful to anyone reading. A sober tone that doesn't play in to the hysterics of this political circus. That she did her research and came to a responsible conclusion on who she's voting for. Encouraging everyone to vote. Then the Childless Cat Lady sign off. Nailed it.

  27. My favorite moment of the entire night was when she said she was going to do something uncharacteristic and invite everyone to go to a Donald Trump rally because it will be unhinged and people will leave in the middle of it. She fucking derailed his entire night with that. His brain melted. My second favorite part was when she almost called him a mother fucker.

  31. This. Their communities are shit, and are getting shittier. And instead of looking for positive policies that can improve their prospects (yes, including moving to cities), they think "if we really focus on being dicks to hispanics, and super-hate Hatians and accuse them of eating cats, THAT will fix everything!" It's the dumbest fucking outlook....but it's also human nature, because it is 100% blaming others, and 0% taking responsibility for your own fate and future. Try to bring in broadband, and economic development? Ensure that our local schools prepare our kids for higher ed, and make sure they have decent higher ed opportunities? NAAAAH. Let's build a wall, and be cruel as fuck to those brown people who live at the edge of our small town in a cluster of mobile homes, all of them working in the meat processing plant that is one of the area's only economic engines (and to be clear, WE sure as shit won't take a job there -- that's hard work, in hard conditions, no thank you)! That approach will turn this town into a paradise! I have no idea how, it just will!
