  2. I genuinely don't understand why you post here. Literally everyone here thinks you're of significantly below-average intelligence. Even the people who agree with your positions on a topic sigh and think "what a dumbfuck" when they read your posts. And why post when everything you write only reconfirms that impression? But beyond that, you're just a source of humor. On any thread you jump on, people joke about blow jobs and meth . . . because you literally suck dick for meth. Look, man--I don't want to kink shame. If posting on this board is to fulfill a humiliation fetish, I mean--sure. But if not that, why on earth would you post here?

  3. You know what--I'm tired of this shit. You profess to be all pissed off at @Brisketexan because he said he'd welcome the Palestinians getting genocided on an internet message board. But . . . and this is really fucking important and you need to read it . . . what Brisket writes on a fucking college football message board has literally zero impact on whether the Palestinians get genocided. You know what impacts whether the Palestinians get genocided? Fucking voting last Tuesday. Last Tuesday, Brisket voted for against the pro-genocide candidate. But you're completely ripshit at him over something that has literally zero impact on the life of any Palestinian. Last Tuesday, the dipshits in Dearborn voted for the pro-genocide candidate. But you have nothing but sympathy for, saying they faced a "unique moral conundrum." I'm serious here, man--you're completely upside-down. And I am really having a hard time communicating with you at this moment, because I just don't understand your perspective at all.

  4. I've cancelled my NY Times and LA Times subs, removed Instagram and reddit my my phone. My profile on this site is all I've really got left and I removed my auto login on my phone as well. Have to do a bit of work to get back on. My goal is to stop by this site maybe 1-2 times a day. I got rid of the newspapers before the election, and the social media after. There is no doubt that Trump and co. are a threat to the nation. But I've done this before. I spent 2016-2020 doom scrolling. Every day was a new "BREAKING" news story in which Trump had broken some norm, betrayed an ally, or broken the law. And what did I do with all of that info? Nothing. Didn't motivate me to volunteer, didn't become politically engaged. I just internalized it and it would impact my day-to-do. Part of it was always thinking the "next" scandal would finally wake up my old friends, classic conservatives, and the body politic. Then the resulting frustration and disbelief that none of it mattered. I actually found the 2020 election perhaps the most demoralizing of them all. I was certain that after 4 years of Trump we'd see a collective repudiation. Nope. Election wasn't called for a couple of days due the margins in the swing states. That's what did it for me. I gave up any and all hope that our future is a place I want to be a part of. This most recent election was more a confirmation of my fears than a surprise. In a weird way, giving up hope has been freeing. Its only been a week since the election, but despite the turn for the worse in the news, I've had a lovely week. My phone pretty much stays in my pocket unless I'm texting or calling someone. Started carrying my Kindle with me again. Would recommend. So anyways, I'm done. Done reading the news. Done paying attention. I've lived in a foreign country that was, at the time, ruled by an autocratic dictator. Did I spend my days thinking about the erosions of the rule of law or the dissidents that were being tortured and killed? Nope. Just went about my day. Enjoyed life. I can certainly do the same here. So, burn it down. Or don't. Whatever.

  7. Yeah, I grew up 5 minutes away from Mexico, and it always struck me how different life was there. I was born into a privileged family. We had far more than most and never were concerned with money. Then I would go to Mexico and see all the shanty towns on the hills, and kids trying to sell you chicles to help their family, the prostitutes in boys town trying to survive selling what they had to sell. And I was taken aback by how much lower their standard of living was compared to mine, and that the only real difference between them and I was that they were born 5 minutes south beyond an imaginary line drawn on a drying riverbed. And then I would pass all that by and get to my real destination. The house of the wealthy, politically connected family that was the ruling class in Mexico. I was friend with their son who was sent to private school in the U.S. to be educated. I was taken aback again by how much higher their standard of living was compared to mine. The thousands of acres, the mission-style mansion, the landing strip and private plane in the backyard. It was disconcertingly difficult to try and not be taken aback by the extravagance. I think we are on a similar road in the United States, just behind the curve.

  8. The discussion moves quickly, but not that quickly. I was specifically addressing the American Muslims you identified in your post--the dumb assholes in Dearborn who voted 85% against Harris. There is no fucking "moral conundrum." American electoral politics is a binary choice: either the Republican or the Democrat. One of those two is going to get elected. Voting for one helps that candidate get elected; deciding not to vote for a candidate hurts that candidate's chances of getting elected. It's that fucking simple. I didn't make the choice to elect the candidate who wants to ban Muslims from entering the United States. I voted against the candidate who wants to deport Muslims and strip naturalized Muslims of their citizenship. I voted against the candidate who will allow Israel to kill absolutely every Palestinian it can lay hands on. The Muslims in Dearborn overwhelmingly voted to elect that candidate. There ain't no fucking moral conundrum here. One candidate was going to be elected: the candidate who supports all those things, or the candidate who opposes them. The fine people in Dearborn chose the former. They get to fucking live with that decision. Or not. Either way, I don't give a fuck.

  11. Haha--holy fucking shit. These dumb motherfuckers pulled the cord on the political suicide vest because the Democrats didn't let them have a speaker at the convention? And you expect me to feel an ounce of sympathy for them? And yeah--I did choose that metaphor purposefully. Dumb fucking non-strategic thinkers. Fuck them.

  14. Yep. It's the bleeding black-hearted liberal way. No sympathy for anyone who sided with Trump or stood on the sidelines during the election. The last time he got into office, I really let it get to me. Not this time. This will either be a teachable moment for the whole country or it won't. Either way, it's all out of my hands anyway.

I was bored so I sat down to watch it and it ended up being the perfect metaphor for modern times: A bunch of dip shit youngins decide to fuck around and vote for Trump Adults tell them not to... They do it anyway.. Now everyone is fucked .. So now we sit around and hope the super powerful dipshit is too distracted and lazy to kill us all.. But his evil minions will continually fuck with us.. And ultimately, even if we survive, we are still fucked..

  26. As much as I like what Sark is doing, he already showed us once that he didn't fucking get it. Summa y'all got the same problem, and I feel the call of duty to make whatever pathetic attempts I can to help you get your mind right. I sincerely hope that the Light of Darkness has been revealed to you, because - and I promise you this is Truth - those pathetic sistercousinwife fucking morons will do their utmost to fuck us in every orifice we have or can imagine having. Nothing in their miserable meth-gobbling lives could possibly make life worthwhile to them than waylaying our arrogant burnt orange asses on the way to our first SEC Championship in our first SEC season. They couldn't care less about SECSECSEC, they only and always care about shitting on Texas. Charlie didn't get it. Sark didn't get it. And if you don't get it, you're fucked. Get your mind right... time is getting short. Hook'em

  28. That Harmon doofus's headline reminds me of a Pravda story from back in the Cold War era. It seems that there was a two-car race between an American car and a Russian car. We won by three laps. The Pravda headline read: "Glorious Car of the Soviet People Finishes Second; Americans Come In Next To Last."

  30. I’d actually not be surprised at all to learn that Kenny D passed on Johntay. Anybody who knows about him and what he has brought to the Valley would have guessed that would be his position on a kid like that. Man, there’s not a great track record of success for the top rated WR in the state here recently. Demas, Earle, Stewart, Cook, and Hudson. Earle might be questionable but I think the next guy was a kid who now plays at SFA. I’ll never understand why anyone would think becoming a malcontent in the middle of the season is a wise choice even if you do have eyes on the portal. It looks even worse when the other two WRs in your class got zero burn last year, had much more reason to explore other options in the spring and summer, decided to stay, one literally added extra responsibilities at a brand new position to help the team with depth, and the other dude committed to filling the big shoes JWhitt left behind as a leader/glue guy. I mean, I suppose somebody could’ve been in his ear saying his position coach is giving preferential treatment to a kid from his HS alma mater, but all you would need to refute that is film and first hand accounts of Moore’s habits and demeanor. If he’s thinking his talent exempts him from following that example, he better hope to God that other programs only look at his HS highlight reel and don’t bother to find out what he has done since then. He should also hope they don’t take a look at how Sark treated Maalik and other players who had to decide to enter the portal at the end of last year ahead of the CFP, and how he handled Juan Davis when he asked to return to the team. Seems to me like he is fair and makes his decisions based on merit. If I was a coach, my response would be: β€œso, you played as a true freshman on CFP semifinalist, you were on the field in Tuscaloosa at critical moments in your second collegiate game, spent spring and fall camp at the top of the depth chart, got plenty of snaps to start the season, eventually got passed by two dudes who got far less handed to them, and you decided to just check the fuck out because you felt you were being treated unfairly? You didn’t appreciate the team taking three older players out of the portal, but you are asking us to bring you in ahead of the young guys we already have…and pay you handsomely to do so? The second to last relevant snap you have on film is you dropping a wide open TD in a one score game and laughing about it? You left a place with the most talented QB room in the country, where they just put three dudes at your position in the league, and you want us to believe your lack of success isn’t your own fault? Who is your advisor, again? Actually, it doesn’t matter. Thanks for your time.”

  33. You're not alone brother. This is where a lot of people are, myself included. All you need to do is look at CNN's ratings. Look at the Washington Post's subscription numbers. People are tuning out. And they need to do so for their basic mental health. And this is where we'll get scolded because that's exactly how the autocrat wins--by getting people to tune out rather than stand up for their principles and resist. But at the same time, I just don't care. I don't care about this country, and I care even less about it's people. They can all go to the devil for all I care.

  34. Thinking that Arkansas doesn't hate us anymore just because our younger fans stopped caring about the rivalry is forgetting an important facet of the rivalry - people from Arkansas (the state) hate Texas (the state). The University of Texas represents the state, and playing (or beating) us in football gives everyone in Arkansas a chance to feel better than Texas. When was the last time anyone here ever thought about Arkansas? Traveled to Arkansas other than to pass through? Arkansas is a small, unimportant state that happens to be next to one of the largest and most important states in the Union. They hate us and we don't think about them at all. And before someone says something dumb like "well they don't hate A&M" - yeah no shit, it's A&M. They don't represent the state of Texas. At most, they represent a particular strain of East Texas weirdo who probably has more in common with Arkansas than they do with the rest of Texas. Everyone at Arkansas, young and old, cares about this game way more than we do because it runs deeper than football. It's social, cultural, and political.

  35. Because the person who has built an immense fortune largely due to government subsidies, EV tax credits and government contracts should not be put in any position inside the government that even has the potential or perception of being able influence government spending. It is a gigantic conflict of interest that undermines public trust in our government.

  36. Arkansas is a lot like OU - a lot of mouthing off and a lot of horns down and the "fun" type of hatred. It's an opportunity for people who don't understand it to get into an altercation and escalate beyond a certain point, but if you know what is going on and just flash the horns and move on with your life no one is going to attack you. We had a huge party on Dickson street and went out before and after the game. No issues. I think that College Station this year is going to be shitty well beyond that. They can't help themselves they are going to be dicks beyond just smack talk.
