aggy is the poster child for when keeping it real goes wrong. I was around it and in it for 2 short years up close and personal. Its always been wild to me how fucked up these people are and how fragile they are. I once attempted to dye my long hair platinum blonde, it didn't work obviously and I had bright orange fried hair. I had to buzz it off after a week but decided it would be fun to do a Mohawk before fully buzzing it off. That week I had the Mohawk people wouldn't sit anywhere in my vicinity and I had the majority of people literally get off the sidewalk and switch sides that they were walking on to avoid me. Pussies the lot of them. I graduated from that shithole when I was 19 before any of you fuck with me about being aggy, I was never aggy I just didn't know shit when I was a kid and didn't realize how much culture mattered. I never fit in with that racist piece of shit institution. For those that think it's revisionist history you can find my pictures in the composites hanging in the lambda chi fraternity house in west campus. I was initiated into the Texas chapter of a fraternity that had a chapter at TAMU because I was in Austin so much they didn't know I didn't go there during and after rush and I didn't ever fit in with those backwards fucks.25 points

South Austin is entering the chat. This is Ned. He’s an 11-month-old hound/husky mix. He’s also a street dog rescued from a storm drain with two of his litter mates, Lucky and Dusty (this is true, and you know the movie reference). He’s been with an incredible foster mom/trainer for the last few months, and today we adopt him into our family. It was sort of impulsive on my part after giving my wife and stepdaughter the whole “we’re not ready for a dog just yet” this past year. But all I can say is that I just felt this call.23 points

Yes. Reading between the lines he has grade I (microscopic-level tears) sprain of his ankle. It does not make the ankle less stable. It hurts and can lead to enough swelling as a natural response (especially when he is actually playing on it) that it becomes stiffer and even more painful. Wrapping it well before the game and between series and popping a few Advil might be enough to let him function as well as he did before the most recent injury.16 points

Gerry Hamilton Monday AM Recruiting: Thoughts on targets and commits The Texas Longhorns have the No. 4 ranked class with the commitment Saturday by 4-star+ defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). With the level and number of top targets remaining, Texas is zeroing in on the No. 2 class with a shot to finish No. 1 on December 4. OnTexasFootball begins Monday with thoughts on the top 5 targets remaining on the board. Four-star++ ATH Michael Terry III (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) Terry III celebrated his 18th birthday last night with family and friends. His birthday cake was half Texas and half Nebraska. So Oregon is officially out lol, but that has been the case. Texas remains the favorite over the Cornhuskers. The key question with the recruitment is when will Terry III announce his decision. OTF stopped by Alamo Heights High Friday, and the prevailing thought was December 4 right now. Terry and AHHS are looking at a deep playoff run, and Terry doesn't want to make anything about himself. Five-star OT and Oklahoma commit Michael Fasusi (Lewisville, Texas/High) Texas definitely helped the cause with the Friday night/Saturday visit, that included Fasusi's father and sister. OTF was told the visit was a step up from the June official visit, and that Texas has put themselves squarely in the mix ahead of this weekends visit to Texas A&M. There is optimism on the 40 Acres with Fasusi following the visit. OTF is watching to see who makes the visit to Texas A&M with Fasusi this weekend. Oklahoma also remains in the mix, but has the task of being able to convince Fasusi to sign December 4 with the possibility of not having the OC and OL coaching positions settled. Five-star DL Justus Terry (Manchester, Ga./High) Let's be clear on one thing, Kirby Smart doesn't want to see Terry sign with Texas. Auburn is one thing, as the Tigers are the neighboring state and have signed many tremendous players out of the Atlanta area and Peach State over the years and will continue to do so. But Texas beginning to have success in Georgia is not what Smart ideally wants to have happen. And this is especially the case with a 5-star defensive line prospect. So that is what Texas is up against. Texas has continued to have some positive convos and enough momentum that Chris Gilbert attended his playoff game last Friday. That was ahead of an official visit to Auburn. This is a "big boy", gird up your loins level recruitment - to say the least. Four-star++ Auburn commit Nathaniel Marshall (Oak Park, Il./Fenwick) Texas is battling with Georgia and Auburn down the stretch for high-end defensive linemen. That is exactly where one wants to be. Texas already beat Auburn for Mbatchou. Now, the Horns are working to flip one of the nations most talented 5-tech/long term 5 & 3 prospects. But this one is from Chicago. Marshall made the official visit to Texas over the weekend with his mom and brother. The early word coming out of Austin is Texas feels like the visit went very well, and the Horns have a legit shot. I want to be clear, that's not OTF saying this. Texas has to overcome Auburn's relationship with Marshall and family, and the Tigers are extremely aggressive in the 2025 cycle. Four-star++ Javion Hilson (Cocoa, Fla./High) Hilson made an OV to Michigan over the weekend, and is scheduled to be at Texas A&M Saturday-Sunday for an OV. Texas vs. Texas A&M is where the decision was expected to come from headed into the Michigan visit. The big Q for Michigan is if Hilson would actually leave the south for college. To this point, there isn't any sign that he would actually make that leap. Hilson and Texas have continued to have positive communication. Hilson is big on player development, and there is a feeling in Austin that Texas has done everything they can to illustrate that to him. Four-star Kellen Wiley (Seffner,Fla./Armwood) Texas and Florida are battling it out for the 6-3.5, 226-pound linebacker. This process is coming at the Wiley family fast right now, with him being a senior riser. One source very close to the recruitment believed Texas enter the Florida visit over the weekend with a sizable lead over the Gators. Wiley's family absolutely loved the plan Texas has for Wiley's development. Obviously, there is more to the recruitment, but the family thinks very highly of Texas at this point.15 points

I’d greatly appreciate never hearing again about Elon being on the spectrum. He is a complete embarrassment of a human being to the rest of us who are on it as well. This is not directed at you Brisket. We have people posting here about it who think they are experts on the subject that do not know and will never know what this is like because they are not on the autism spectrum. I can tell you that Elon makes a choice to be the narcissistic clown that he is. He is wholly unrelated to those of us just wanting to live a quiet life and do better for those in the world around us.13 points

If there was any doubt about whether the radical "all-in, super-pro-Palestinian" crowd in the US is utter fucking morons (a point on which, begrudgingly, the right-wing assholes and I are in pretty good agreement), that sort of take seals the deal. "We had no idea a guy whose LITERAL first major policy move was a 'muslim ban,' who is best buds with Bibi, and who proudly talks about how hard he sucks Israel's dick......would side with Israel" -- well, that's a fucking gem of a take.12 points

Maybe they would have had a winning conference record if they didn't have to get an automatic L by playing us?12 points

I don’t typically buy into “media member X hates us” and that line of thinking. But listening and reading to recaps of this weekend (and the last few), and it’s incredible how our wins are plainly dismissed in comparison to other flawed teams in CFP contention. Penn State win by 1 against Minnesota: “Minnesota been playing well…good win for PSU” Indiana 38-15 to Ohio State…”was closer than it seemed cause of special teams and late TD” Oregon…”gutsy win at Wisconsin” I’ve heard heaps of credit given to SMU and Tennessee for fuck’s sake, hardly a positive word said about Texas in the last month. ”if Texas loses to A&M they should fall far in the rankings…what have they done?”, while in the same breath saying the environment we’re walking into Saturday will be one of the toughest in recent memory. I know I shouldn’t give a shit, we’re fine with the CFP, but it’s annoying me. Need to shut them all up over the next couple weeks.12 points

I will do a Cliff Note version for those that don't want to read all that drivel... - The Auburn Team is really good despite their record, and that game really doesn't matter anyway. But Looch reminds you that playing Auburn at their place is like playing the Chiefs at Arrowhead, and they still almost won - Texas is about to step in and play a team that has already knocked off 2 top 10 teams at home. (Yes he is counting Mizz and LSWho as top 10 teams) - Texas hasn't played anyone with an offense yet, and the 12th man will be frothing at the mouth to intimidate. Look what happened to those other top 10 teams that visited Kyle Field! - Elko is maybe the best hire ever, and this year they are at the least one of the SEC Elites. In his first year! - Even Saban said playing at Auburn is a nightmare. And at least we aren't Ole Miss or Bama. Their losses are much worse, so nothing to see here. - Even if Ags lose to Texas, Elko has far exceeded expectations. Next year is looking great, and future NFL stars on the roster now will stay for another year due to love of the ELK and NIL funds ready to lay down. You're welcome11 points

Many of these SEC simpletons, aggie fans completely included, do not appear to watch many games at all. The games their teams play in? Sure. After that, it's a lot of p-hacking to find the results they want to focus on from box scores or, even sillier, just looking at standings. This Texas defense basically goes 22+ deep with playmakers all over the field. They were smothered by Notre Dame's defense and yet they're expecting a different result against a strikingly similar opponent. SCar has a great DL and that's fine and all, but overall the Texas defense is significantly better in the back 7 and with depth. Good luck, dummies.11 points

I’ve been critical of Quinn over the years. His recruiting ranking was extremely high and his actual performance is a lot closer to Chris Simms than it is Colt McCoy. I think there are reasonable critics who get frustrated when fans defend him as if he is another Colt and are reluctant to acknowledge his shortcomings. He can have great streaks followed by bad stretches, and it’s those bad stretches that concern me that it will eventually cost us a game when it counts the most. It’s all already been said, but he looks nervous in the pocket, has no mobility, and his deep ball is horribly inaccurate. For a 3rd year starter who was once a Heisman hopeful, that’s not great. I would’ve liked to see Arch get some reps in the 2nd half, not because I believe he is better at this point, because I really have no way of knowing that, but merely to give our backup some more experience in case we truly need him. With our starter’s injury history, that seems entirely possible. The 2009 championship game still haunts me and I’d like our backup to be as prepared as possible. Sark has his reasons which many of us don’t understand, but he does have us at 10-1 so it’s hard to question the success he is delivering. He knows more about this team than any of us do. Maybe it’s stubborn loyalty to Quinn, or maybe it’s a hidden concern about Arch, or a mythical deal with the Manning family, or paranoia about a QB controversy, we really can’t know. I personally think everything is a risk-reward situation, and this week Sark felt sticking with Quinn both for the sake of winning against Kentucky and for avoiding a QB controversy, outweighed whatever marginal benefit Arch would get from handing the ball off for 15 plays. He probably just wanted to get through the game, get the win, and then reassess for aggy. I suspect Quinn will be our starter and I will definitely be rooting for him to do well. Winning our remaining games is more important than validating any past criticisms. I’ll cheer his successes and likely curse some missteps. I just hope there’s a lot more cheering than cursing.11 points
