I edited a...different version: Subject: Thank You, Aggies – A Night to Remember at Kyle Field Howdy, Aggies! I’m not a Texas fan, but I’ll admit I came into Saturday night’s game between the Aggies and Longhorns believing Texas would win. I’m new to the SEC, and this was my first time experiencing a game at the legendary Kyle Field. When the opportunity came up to be at this game, I couldn’t pass it up. Let me tell you: it was worth every second. From the moment my family and I stepped onto campus, we were blown away by the energy of the Aggie community. The stadium atmosphere was unique, unlike anything we had ever seen. The experience inside Kyle Field was on another level. The crowd noise, the cheers, the precision of your traditions—it was absolutely mesmerizing. But I was most impressed by the hospitality I experienced in your stadium. Every time I approached a crowd of Aggies (and it was crowded in that stadium that night!) they politely cleared the way and let me pass through. I quickly understood why Aggies have a much deserved reputation for Southern hospitality. I've never seen anything like it. I can assure you that I will never forget my first visit to Aggieland and Kyle Field, and I look forward to welcoming those kind, accommodating Aggies to visit us in the future. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, Aggie family. Y’all have something incredibly "special" in College Station. - Quintrevion Wisner43 points

Great game and 24 hour trip to college station. My takeaways: 1. Tailgate scene was solid. The one we attended was a great setup and probably 20% Texas fans. The shocking thing to me was the lack of port a pottys or other restroom options. Apparently they used to open up Reed arena for that purpose but stopped. Luckily bladder of steel was in effect and was able to hang on until stadium but it was a mess with that many people tailgating. I know that can be problem everywhere for busy events but seemed worse. 2. Ingress/Egress from stadium was a mess. Felt like you had to walk forever around and through a tunnel just to get to stadium that was right in front of you if there was a direct shot. Then long ramps to get to even the 100 level endzones (we were in 200). It's certainly not close to Cotton Bowl bad but makes you appreciate our stadium. 3. Crowd was loud in first half until that 2nd TD drive and that just gutted their fans. All their noise felt forced after that. Even when we fucked up in the 2nd half and gave them a chance I don't think any of them really believed they would pull it off. I think a big chunk of that stadium absolutely felt with certainty they were winning that game until they went down 14-0 and reality set in. It was great to witness that type of deflation in person. 4. Quinn was absolute nails in the 2nd quarter. If we can just put that together for an entire game nobody can beat us. 5. My wife and I were only Texas fans in our section within probably 4 rows and 15 people either direction. The meltdown from the stands after that targeting overturn was epic. Pure grown men temper tantrums all around. F bombs galore, "T.U. ref conspiracy" etc. etc. It was like a live Texags thread. Just great. 6. If you had "at least we'll win halftime" from an Ag in the stands on your bingo card check the box. 7. Post game Eyes was fantastic. Not sure how much they showed on TV but team stuck around and soaked it all in. Sark in particular appeared to be loving life. Of course he watched Day lose 4 in a row earlier so no doubt nice to start the rivalry renewal off with a pretty dominating road win. 8. Ag fans were fine (to us) before, during and after game. No issues at all which is consistent with past experience. It's not Lubbock or Columbus (or from what I hear, Baton Rouge) that's for sure. 9. I was expecting a mess after game but it was worse than I thought. Ended up walking to Northgate to grab a drink and wait out uber situation as didn't know what other option we had, but long lines everywhere and basically no cell service at all first hour. Ended up being a good time after a couple of drinks and just enjoyed the victory. We actually met Liucci in the flesh at a bar post game. Nice guy in person and was very complimentary of Sark, the team/roster, etc. All in all, solid road trip and great time. Now on to Atlanta next week!30 points

Looking back at The Greatest Recruiting Class of All-Time, HOLLAAAA!!!!: Walter Nolen - gone Evan Stewart - gone LT Overton - gone Denver Harris - gone Jacoby Mathews - gone Anthony Lucas - gone PJ Williams - gone Jake Johnson - gone Smoke Bouie - gone Marquis Groves-Killebrew - gone Chris Marshall - gone Bobby Taylor - gone Ish Harris - gone Ethan Moczulski - gone Shemar Stewart - stayed - draft pick Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy - stayed -bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Conner Weigman - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Enai White - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Bryce Anderson - stayed Kam Dewberry - stayed - dude had one snap on Saturday Le'Veon Moss - stayed Malick Sylla - stayed - 60 snaps this season Donovan Green - stayed -got fat and slow after being hurt, getting married. rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Hunter Erb - stayed - 11 snaps this season Martrell Harris - stayed? - Zero snaps this season. Maybe he left? Theo Melin Ohrstrom - stayed Jadon Scarlett - stayed - 8 snaps all year Jarred Kerr - stayed - 35 snaps all year Noah Thomas - stayed Mark Nabou - stayed 14/30 gone with more leaving shortly. Moss, Nabou, Ohrstrom, Anderson, Thomas are the only true producers to have stuck it out. Anderson was a borderline 5 star and now might not be drafted. The others were mid-to-bottom of the class and have outshined the heralded highly ranked guys. This is the kind of class that destroys a program.28 points

I don’t have a poster account at TexAgs, but here’s the text for someone to post there: Subject: Thank You, Aggies – A Night to Remember at Kyle Field Howdy, Aggies! I’m not a Texas fan, but I’ll admit I came into Saturday night’s game between the Aggies and Longhorns expecting to cheer for the burnt orange. I’m an SEC fan through and through (Hotty Toddy from an Ole Miss Rebel), and I’ve always wanted to experience a game at the legendary Kyle Field. When the opportunity came to see this game, I couldn’t pass it up, even if it meant missing my own Rebels in action. Let me tell you: it was worth every second. From the moment my family and I stepped onto campus, we were blown away by the hospitality and energy of the Aggie community. The tailgates were unlike anything we’ve ever seen—every tent seemed to welcome us with open arms, good food, and good conversation. Somewhere along the way, my family and I found ourselves being “swayed” (pun intended) away from Texas and firmly into the Aggie camp. The spirit of the 12th Man is infectious, and by the time we headed into the stadium, we were all yelling “Gig ’em!” The experience inside Kyle Field was on another level. The crowd noise, the cheers, the precision of your traditions—it was absolutely mesmerizing. And the sheer unity of the 12th Man made me wonder why the rest of us in the SEC can’t get it together quite like y’all do. I even found myself nodding along with some Aggies on a few questionable calls (don’t get me started on the officiating!) and laughing at how absurd Matthew McConaughey looked trying to hype up the Longhorns from the sideline. In the end, while my heart still belongs to Ole Miss, I have to tip my hat to Texas A&M. Your school spirit, traditions, and game-day environment truly eclipse anything I’ve seen before. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, Aggie family. Y’all have something incredibly special in College Station, and I feel lucky to have been a part of it, even for one night. I honestly don’t think that Biden had decided he’d do it until Kamala lost and Trump won. And I’m ok with that. Trump spent his entire campaign promising to use all the levers of federal power to get revenge on people. He named vicious toadies to lead the DOJ, FBI, and IC. All signs point to him doing it. So yeah, that makes you rethink. And my only concern here is that Biden won’t go far enough. He needs to tee up pardons for everyone DJT or a DJT proxy has publicly mentioned for targeting, and likely the entire leadership and select working level people at the FBI, DOJ, and across the IC. For those who argue in good faith on this (would have once been me) that it’s just playing into his narrative and breaking norms, my response is this: it’s not a political reality show with no consequences. More than norms are at stake. These are real people facing real earth-shattering persecution. Legal bills alone will ruin you. Biden has a duty to use every tool to protect people who fulfilled their oath of office with honorable service. He has no obligation to defer to “norms” in the face of an incoming regime that has and will violate all of them. And to the Trump supporters my response is this: Fuck you.19 points

The good news is that Quinn turned the ball over deep in aggy territory on Saturday.18 points

Ho Hum. We beat aggy at their place, in a game that they were looking to be defining one for their program. Again. Same as it ever was, outside of one decade where they rampantly cheated and we had our heads up our own asses (something Texas does periodically every now and again). Ho Hum- we are entering a new conference and playing for the title. Again. Same as when we entered the SWC. Same as when we entered the Big 12. Ho Hum- we are back in the playoffs. Again. Ho hum- 7 win Sark, sarklostagain has 11 wins in the regular season. Again. Ho hum- we are about to sign another top 3 or top 5 recruiting class, again. Ho hum- we will probably rape and pillage in the portal, again. Ho hum- double digit draft picks incoming, again. Texas is back. We finally are not trying to play a rigged game straight, as NIL has allowed us to marshal our advantages in an above board manner. We have an admin that understands the importance of football and excellence to the culture of the University. We have a coach who is not just smart and competitive but also a genuine dude that people want to see succeed. Good dudes all over the roster. This also is built to last. Let's pay Georgia back for our one bad game of the year and finish winning the title. Also- just for old times sake POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR AGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES SEC championship week game stuff goes here.17 points

Posted this just now in the aggie recruiting thread, but here's some more and a miscount somewhere: Looking back at The Greatest Recruiting Class of All-Time, HOLLAAAA!!!!: Walter Nolen - gone Evan Stewart - gone LT Overton - gone Denver Harris - gone Jacoby Mathews - gone Anthony Lucas - gone PJ Williams - gone Jake Johnson - gone Smoke Bouie - gone Marquis Groves-Killebrew - gone Chris Marshall - gone Bobby Taylor - gone Ish Harris - gone Ethan Moczulski - gone Shemar Stewart - stayed - draft pick Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy - stayed -bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Conner Weigman - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Enai White - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Bryce Anderson - stayed Kam Dewberry - stayed - dude had one snap on Saturday Le'Veon Moss - stayed Malick Sylla - stayed - 60 snaps this season Donovan Green - stayed -got fat and slow after being hurt, getting married. rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Hunter Erb - stayed - 11 snaps this season Martrell Harris - stayed? - Zero snaps this season. Thanks everyone, for tuning in to LET'S MOVE THE GOALPOSTS! Our first statement is as follows: "Texas won't be able to compete against the SEC teams in college football's most elite conference! NOW, LET'S MOOOOOOOVE THE GOOOAALLLPOST! Actually, Texas had an incredibly easy SEC schedule and didn't have to face any good competition within the league!!!!!!! We have a winner!!!!!17 points

Complaining about our strength of schedule by a program that got South Carolina as its permanent opponent and has only played UGA once in 13 years (when we’re going to play them twice in our first season) is really something else.16 points

My guess is it won't be a Texas fan. Rather, a fan from a different SEC school who has always been wanting to see a game in Pyle Field. Given the huge nature of the rivalry said fan neglected his own team's game, came in with his family. Of course, the "vibe" of the tailgates and the open arms of all aggie kind, "swayed" them away from pulling for Texas (which they were at the start). Then during the game the amazing piped in crowd noise and cult cheers amazed said "fan of other school". Said "fan of other school" also found himself agreeing with aggie on some questionable calls and the the stupidity of Matthew McConaughey being on the sideline. In the end, "fan from other school" still love "other school" but acknowledges that aggie turdition and school spirit eclipses his own team. That's the script. It's coming. I'll throw a Dart and guess it's an Ole Miss fan.14 points

One thing to remember here is that Texas doesn’t always ignore the lunatic shit. They’ve never been the lunatic, thankfully, but they have decided to beat them on multiple occasions. Retaining Worthy when Riley offered $1M wasn’t done via reassuring conversations with X. Texas didn’t get Wingo signing on the line that is dotted by just poo-pooing Missouri. Muhammad is a budding star at Texas because Texas decided they didn’t see anyone of replacement value within reach. I am not sure we don’t see some of that over the next few days. It won’t be explained to the board either way, at least any time soon, but you guys can stay hopeful, I guess. I will say that if Texas lands Justus Terry, Texas decided to be the lunatic.13 points
