  1. This FAFO has a happy ending. Sometimes, we denizens of the internet must become the leopards to exact justice and revenge on behalf of others. 2. Exactly. A few deaths from vaccines means that vaccines are bad. A few people killed by immigrants means that immigrants are bad. A shitload of kids killed by guns doesn't mean anything about guns. A shady business dealing by someone's son means that the whole family is rotten. But hundreds of shady business dealings by an individual doesn't mean anything about him except that he's the victim of a smear campaign. One consensual blowjob makes one guy a piece of shit, and 17 rape allegations mean nothing about another guy. These people are complete intellectual puppets without the critical thinking skills of the average wild animal.

  4. These are the same people who refused to take literally two seconds to keep other people from dying in a plague. They were probably unlikely to die from Covid, so why mask up just because your grandmother is in that same HEB? Their individual liberties mattered more, because Tucker Carlson said so. See also: kids getting shot to death with their big dick toys that White Jesus himself promised them forever. Why should they lose their hobby just because your kids are lying in bloody pools a couple of times a week? These people are rotten to their core. They don't give a shit about anybody but themselves. And they'll all be in church on Sunday. Fuck it, go measles. We need a purge.

  5. I said this a lot during COVID and I'll say it now. If you don't trust doctors, stay the fuck out of hospitals. Don't go clogging up the ER with your dumb, sick ass when shit gets real. Just stay home and use your ivermectin and tinctures.

  9. I am going to explain Elmo’s behavior a little bit. Since this idiot shares a spectrum with me there are certain behaviors I notice that are common. Note, however, that his narcissism takes what a want to explain to an 11. There is a behavior called masking. It’s fairly common among people on the spectrum. I will explain myself first and my experiences. I have found that looking back on my life that I always attempted to just fit into a group and mask the behaviors I had that were different. In my life I have hung out with people and in places that others would not go to for whatever reason. I can fit into just about any group of people. In another life I might’ve enjoyed working for the government because of this. Natural skills with people do not come easily to me, BUT what I can do is figure out how to mimic the way a group acts and it allows me to be part of said group. It’s mentally exhausting, but I have the routine of how to fit in down. It’s easier than trying to explain to everyone the differences I have and I am mostly okay with that. Elmo masks himself as well, BUT, and this is a big detour from normal autistic behavior, he will fit into a group and pour his focus into it and want to then be the focus of the group. This is where the narcissism comes in. Is there childhood trauma with his dad? Yes. Is there childhood trauma from being made fun of? Yes. Did he take these slights, put them in his back pocket and remember them so he could one day get back at all his imagined enemies? Yes. He’s doing that now while getting the adulation of millions of people here in the US and now in other countries. The narcissism puts all of his impulsive and selfish behavior way over the top. Autism can manifest itself in giving you a really narrow focus. My narrow focus used to lead me into making some real bad decisions. It took learning who I was and understanding that being different is okay. That was not an easy road, but the journey has been rewarding. Elmo skipped that day of school and really never has gotten in touch with who he is so we get this monster. He takes being different as a slight and he is still stuck in his mental development in his teenage years. He could be using his influence to narrowly focus on bettering mankind. Instead he chose money, attention and hate instead. For me I can see and understand his behaviors clear as day. I have no empathy for him because he chose to follow the hate. He’ll never find any real happiness. His internal emotional state is a never-ending void. That is a dark place to be at and it’s not good for the rest of us.

  19. The whole article is worth a read: The shocking thing about this article isn't necessarily the ignorance. It's the malevolence: "I'm not going to put my child at risk to save yours." Leaving aside the fact that there is functionally zero fucking risk, the out-and-out unwillingness to help the community in any way is remarkable. But then it's coupled with the inevitable persecution syndrome. "We're being unfairly blamed for bringing disease." I mean, yeah--because you did bring disease. There's nothing "unfair" about it. Between the ignorance, the malevolence, and the persecution syndrome, these people are a menace to society. If there's one thing I can agree with this Administration on, is that they be cut off from the federal teat, which is the only way they survive. Let them catch measles. And whopping cough and diphtheria, while they're at it. Cut off their Medicaid. Their hospitals will close. But that's ok--they'll have plenty of snake oil to keep them kicking. And along the way, we can cut off their SNAP and their farm credits and everything else. A century ago, their ancestors in that part of the state died of disease and starvation. We made a mistake in eradicating those two particular horsemen from riding roughshod.

  20. I continue to avoid this thread because it’s just doing nothing good for me considering that Ukraine has consumed and continued to consume my life for the past 3.5 years. But I recommend this initiative and have helped buy a modernized T-72 tank, a Vampire rocket launcher system, and the helicopter. My understanding from friends is that Czechs donated 800k in the hour following the shitshow in the oval. Someone has to remember how to be Americans.

  23. Sure. It was. Before we took a giant shit on it and decided to go full retrograde. If my fellow Texans are back on board with fighting for individual liberty against oppressive tyranny, I'd love for them to join me. But Texas is full Team Santa Anna these days, so fuck 'em.

  24. I grew up in Virginia and North Carolina, two original colonies with some badass histories. Compared to Texas, the residents of those states seem to have very little state pride, and they express no real identity in being "Virginians" or "North Carolinians." So when I moved to Texas in 1994, I actually was impressed with the amount of pride and identity in being a Texan. I was enamored with Texas history and what still seemed like a sense of frontier independence. I'm not sure if back then or even today you could call me a "Texan" (my wife born and raised in Austin tells me I can't truly claim that title), but for about my first decade living here, I was damn proud to claim this state as my home, even as the Democratic strength and influence in Texas politics was evaporating. Now? Now Texas is just another red state. Passing all the red state laws, sometimes trying to lead, mostly desperately following. And there is little to nothing recognizably Texan in our State's leadership (Danny Goeb, I'm taking to you). I haven't felt pride in being a Texan in quite some time. So you go on and celebrate Texas Independence Day, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth,

  26. lol In what I'm sure is a wild coincidence Fox News ran an article today comparing Obama's treatment of Bibi in with Trump's treatment of Ukraine, NATO, and the UN. Because we all have functioning brains, we see that there's no real comparison, but very sad to see that this is the best "both sides" they can come up with.

  35. So, because I'm an asshole, I looked up Kayleigh Brantner and her husband up on the Gaines County appraisal district's website. I'm not going to post her address but I google mapped it and she lives in a doublewide trailer. I'm not making this up. No disrespect to people who live in trailers as many are fine people who, for reasons beyond their control, live in trailers. But if I'm just a schmoe who's looking for advice on whether or not to give his child a vaccine, am I better off taking the advice of somebody who lives in a doublewide trailer in a god-forsaken hellscape like that of Seminole, Texas, or am I better off taking the advice of somebody who studied this stuff for 8 years at prestigious universities, lives in a nice house, and has his own children vaccinated? And yet there are people on Facebook who are saying "you go, girl." "Vaccines are evil." Every single one of them has no doubt been vaccinated against polio and other diseases that they subsequently never got. We really do deserve the stupidity with which we're being inflicted.

  36. The problem is much deeper than Trump or MAGA. Those are just smoke screens to keep people distracted. The real problem is the takeover of the country by a small set of billionaires who each rule kingdoms that they feel should be free of government and public interference. They (people like Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin and Leon - there are many other mostly Tech Bros) want to rule their fiefdoms as they choose. Just like all kings do. No king wants to take orders from anyone. Human nature hasn’t changed, those in power want to keep power. Those with power, do not wish to share it. Tech Bro Kings aren’t concerned about equality or fairness or anything much to do with the public as long as what is due to them comes to them. The price of a dozen eggs means nothing when you can buy the entire egg industry. When you can easily buy senators, vice presidents and presidents then democracy is just a fun ruse. Slashing the govt (with Elon out front) is just a way to make the public believe that the Tech Bro Kings have the answers. Planes are crashing? Starlink will fix it. Mail isn’t being delivered? Amazon has the answer. National Parks can’t be booked? AirBnB has a system. Want an education? Google has all the info you need. Each thing that is given away just strengthens the kingdoms. Unfortunately there is no going back. The battles are lost. Democracy is dead. The only hope is one day the kingdoms will come in conflict with each other (which always happens) and they will destroy themselves and something better will rise.
