From what I've seen here and some talk I've heard, the list is: 1) When he signed on, Schloss was promised some facilities improvements, not just to the ballpark, but also practice facilities and such. Those were slow played after the Jimbo firing. 2) After their success in 2023, Schloss asked for more money for his assistant coaches. He was turned down, because Jimbo. 3) As part of the post Jimbo austerity program, some of the baseball support staff were let go without letting Schloss know until after it was done. When he protested, he was told that it was just that way and he'd better get used to it. 4) Alberts heard that Schloss was dissatisfied with the above developments and might consider looking elsewhere, so he called Schloss into his office and basically told him that if he was unhappy at A&M, he should look elsewhere. He invited Schloss to leave. In short, A&M Aggied it up as only they can. Why would anyone want to stay and be part of that kind of unprofessional cluster fuck?31 points

I'm not going to be doing a username change. I appreciate the community feedback and concern. I know that I'm an alcoholic. This isn't some shit that needs an intervention. I know much more about my personal* condition than any of you do and I am very aware of it and have been for years now. I wish that it was easier to quit drinking - I would like for it to not be a part of my life any longer. It's extremely difficult and it (unfortunately) takes time. I've done AA. I've been to rehab multiple times. I've been arrested twice as many times. There are ways in which I'm wired that are not conducive to success and I fight against that shit every day of my life. I made an ass out of myself and put some stupid shit on the table and when I attempted to make good on it you all as a whole communicated that it wasn't particularly important and that you'd like if I was less of an annoying drunken fuck as often as I have been since I started posting here over 6 years ago. I hear that feedback. I feel my own feedback when I drink whether it's my mind, body or spirit and it only gets worse. I'm painfully aware of all of this. I love this community and I seriously appreciate that y'all care and I apologize for whenever I'm undeservedly a dick towards any of you - because all it is is a manifestation of my own character flaws. Well - most of the time - some of the time y'all post really retarded shit. I try and work on being a better person every day and this is an opportunity for me to take it a bit more seriously. All love - ztejas29 points

Their financial disclosure forms are out there. Neither trades in individual stock and AOC is worth under 500K. Do better with your both sides bullshit. Show your grounds to say this or STFU. Republicans SOP is to allude to imagined and unproven Dem corruption to excuse the open and blatant behavior of their own sides.19 points

Many on this board, including myself, refuse to provide clicks to Elmo's Nazi site, which financially rewards all this shit. It'd be helpful if you could post screenshots instead of links. Or alternatively, seek out and post the same sources from alternative sites. For instance, both of those guys also post on Bluesky, which conveniently embeds on Surly. https://bsky.app/profile/clueheywood.bsky.social https://bsky.app/profile/jefftimmer.bsky.social I'm sincerely not trying to be a dick or telling you how to post, but you'll probably get more engagement if you branch out away from Xitter.18 points

No no no. Schloss and CDC were swinger buddies in Ft. Worth where Schloss had to leave due to unrevealed deviltry that an Aggie heard about from a buddy of his close to the program. Schloss was an upgrade for the Aggies who hadn't consulted the guy with the buddy close to the TCU program. Aggies said "howdy!" to Schloss and walked him to the stadium. Schloss was awestruck at the traditions and high character of the Aggies. At a swinger party where they had upside down pineapples up their asses, CDC started his seduction. Honor codes had no place with these evil men. They met in a graveyard to seal the deal where both cackled and reminisced about the pineapple experience. Schloss was talking to t.u. during the College World Series! To t.u.! In the presence of the classiest and best fans in all of sports. Schloss chose pineapples, dildo-waving, and LGBQT tolerance over the very special place called Texas A&M University where people are part of something bigger than themselves. Betrayal most foul, indeed! The Aggies hired his assistant coach, beloved by the players and ever loyal to the dear old Texas Aggies. Earley is making his first season as Aggie head coach one that will not soon be forgotten.17 points

Goldberg is clearly signaling intention to release additional details of the chat. Like any good investigative reporter, he didnβt say everything he knew up front. He wanted to give them an opportunity to initiate a coverup and then come back for more once their cover stories have been set.14 points

I'm a very easy going amicable kinda guy. I'll chat people up in social situations try and make people smile or their day a little better. (I'm not wired like that, it's something I work on) The other day I'm getting gas and the pump is REALLY slow. Across the pump from me a work a day older fella pulls up in his work truck and starts to try and small talk while we are filling up. Normally I would engage in conversation joke around and tell him to have a great day. But this seemingly pleasant moron had on a light blue hat that read "Gulf of America est 2025". Then he started up asking me how I like my truck etc... With and expressionless face I just stared into his soul and didn't say a word. Yeah it got real awkard for like 5 minutes. I didn't even acknowledge his existence. Fuck that guy.14 points

A guy that I know is buddies with Waltz from their VMI days. He told me how great, smart, and experienced Waltz is and how he was the perfect choice for this administration. I went back to one of his Facebook comments about him and just replied with LULZ.14 points

Dem officials were put through months on end of congressional hearings for literally everything from the completely false and mundane to things or a more serious nature, while Fox News ran it 24/7, yet not a single one was even in the realm of fuckup as sharing fucking war plans with a journalist. But you knew that you fucking simp. Wake me up when the republican controlled congress does anything more than βshare some concerns.β The speaker of the house has literally already said βweβll look into it and make sure it doesnβt happen again.β Or as you would say βboth sides.β13 points

The truth about that jersey and the uniform is that once upon a time Texas didn't have nice new uniforms, hard to believe but it was. In the 1980's a guy I knew designed those uniforms after a design from the 60's. I pitched them to Coach Gus, and he finally agreed if we could get them and the money. With the help of the baseball club, there was no Longhorn Foundation then, we made it happened. I placed the order with the same company in California that made the Dodger's uniforms. It took a while to get them, the team thought I was just making it up. Then one day at practice a Fed EX truck pulled up and I went out and the guy asked me where to deliver these uniforms. I said let me show you and I took him down to the locker room. I walked in first and I think it was Doug Hodo said sarcastically when are we getting those uniforms. I smiled and said right now. The delivery guy wheeled in the boxes. They had name plates, but Gus wasn't having that. They wore them for several years. Then in 1989, a manager saw them and really liked them, and they wore them for that title game, which we unfortunately lost to Wichita State. When that manager was about to graduate, he called me and in the dead of night we went to the third base locker room in a closed area where all the uniforms were kept. He gave me the one pictured, which is #26. It was Coach Bill Bethea's jersey. I got #32 for the guy that designed the uniforms, which belonged to Bryan Cisarik.12 points

That is exactly what should happen. They should bring this up in every hearing on Capital Hill for this year. They should go on TV and ask publicly if Hegseth is drinking again. They should be hammering this message every day.10 points
