  1. Acceptance rate by SEC school from chatGPT. Look at Ole Miss lol - who are the 2% that got rejected? Rank School Acceptance Rate 1 University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) 97.78% 2 University of Kentucky 92.38% 3 University of Missouri 77.02% 4 University of Oklahoma ~77% 5 Mississippi State University 76.32% 6 University of Alabama 75.82% 7 Louisiana State University (LSU) 74.00% 8 University of Arkansas 71.67% 9 Texas A&M University 63.25% 10 University of South Carolina 61.49% 11 Auburn University 50.47% 12 University of Tennessee 45.99% 13 University of Georgia 37.20% 14 University of Texas at Austin ~29% 15 University of Florida 24.03% 16 Vanderbilt University 6.28%
  2. Good luck trying to get a job in Silicon Valley or Wall Street coming out of Ole Miss
  3. Good drive up the price on these losers so others end up overpaying.
  4. With Ojo and Carlton out, we are now below the 2nd apron.
  5. Crested Butte gives you a great combination of hiking, fishing, and a cool town for food and beers. Beaver Creek also a great choice. Not the biggest fan of Grand Lake. Town is not that nice vs CB or Beaver.
  6. There are better dudes in the portal - just find a stud group of 5 OT in the mold of Matthew Golden or Trey Moore. I rmr a few years ago we got Calvin Anderson and he was plug and play.
  7. Happy we landed Turntine. High upside dude. Imagine the outrage here if we were the ones who gave Ojo that stupid ass $5.1M deal.
  8. Also just a reminder that last summer we had zero DTs then miraculously closed Myron Charles, Sharma, and Terry. And then went out and money whipped Maraad Watson in the portal.
  9. Please feel free to contribute out of pocket if you feel so strongly about buying players
  10. Ojo will sign at Texas for the mid level exception in 2 years
  11. Ojo will probably be fine, just needs a few years in a proper S&C program and to learn to hone his blocking skills and footwork. Meanwhile, he's sucking up valuable resources that could be put to work immediately on guys like Mosley, Maraad Watson, or even retaining a Goosby or Baker. Apparently this guy was ass in camps and needs work. The opportunity cost is simply not worth it in instances like this
  12. I've always been more of a Clint Haney fan myself
  13. Paying millions for developmental players to sit on the bench is a huge stranded cost. The big NIL dollars should be reserved for generational talent that is either A) ready to contribute immediately or B) at a position of scarcity such as DT.
  14. Bruh neither of these guys going to contribute for the next 2 years. Just buy them back in the portal when they're physically ready to play
  15. It's ok, we can lure him into the portal next summer and sign him then
  16. Bottom line is that Americans are largely fat and stupid
  17. Transfer portal has rendered recruiting battles irrelevant. Just reallocate those dollars to a dude in the portal who is ready to play day 1
  18. Unfortunate. He could have been the next Jaray Bledsoe
  19. Ryan Wingo probably misses 3-5 games due to injury
  20. Quality DTs and Edge rushers are the unicorns in the portal and a command a massive premium. Skill position guys are a dime a dozen.
  21. No sense in worrying about missing out on the one-off recruit here or there. Roughly 50% of each class ends up transferring anyway
