  1. Those were three of Texas' best games, so he must be the key to our success.
  2. If we are playing at Houston and at BYU, the dropped games would presumably be Texas away games (WVU, Iowa St, TCU, Baylor), unless (1) they are going full scorched earth and having Texas play 2 home games and 6 away games or (2) they are going to have one of the teams play at Texas two years in a row.
  3. In 2004, our third leading receiver at WR was Nate Jones, with 7 catches (but fewer yards than Cain had this year).
  4. LOL, the link makes it look like they gave him a $266 million contract, which would probably even make A&M blush.
  5. The Washington State and UCLA games were both at 10:30pm ET. That seems pretty late - not exactly rime time.
  6. It seems unlikely he’s going to commit to Texas while our coach is in limbo, but we can hope.
  7. Maybe if they had her statements, but they do not. They just have what the police officer says she said, which is classic hearsay. I do not know if Texas has an exception for this, but I know DC does not.
  8. Obviously if there is physical evidence, that will be important, but I do not think her statements in the police report are admissible as evidence.
  9. How do you know what happened? Is that not important? Should he nail him to the wall no matter what the facts are? Even if she was not telling the truth to the police?
  10. LOL https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/oklahoma-sooners/brent-venables-buyout-contract-details-revealed-in-report/
  11. To be fair to Mandel, he’s clearly being facetious. His previous post was about how you cannot tell the difference between the best recruiting classes today and before NIL.
  12. Gerry said that if Moore does not sign today, he would likely not be signing with Texas.
  13. What is this supposed to mean? Isn't saying "if I could hedge, I would" just a way of hedging your bets?
  14. She cannot drop the charges; only the prosecutor can do that. She can request they be dropped and refuse to cooperate with the prosecution, but it is not her decision as to whether he is prosecuted. Obviously if she recants, it is going to be hard to get a conviction unless there is some additional evidence.
  15. They certainly don’t seem to be trying very hard to keep him.
