  1. I mean, that is what it was called before and sponsored by State Farm:
  2. ESPN is not going to stop until Mike Greenberg is on the air 24/7...
  3. Does this mean all of Texas' games will likely be on the SEC+, instead of ESPN+? Given that it is all digital, it would seem like there would be no reason a Texas home or conference game would ever be on ESPN+, right?
  4. This would have never happened to Samantha Steele.
  5. Price for Texas is $150, third highest and about double everyone but UGA and tOSU.
  6. I think Byars is number 4.
  7. It looks like he's growing the shell on his front.
  8. LOL It took me a second to realize it was Chris Jackson - I was expecting Sark.

  10. Obviously he meant former Texas:
  11. There will definitely be lawsuits.
  12. I think part of the settlement is going to be the lack of walk-ons. If they play football for a major school, they are going to have to be on scholarship. Obviously Texas and other schools can operate with 85 (or even 70) scholarship players if they are allowed to have a ton of non-scholarship walk-ons, but that is not going to be allowed.
  13. Umm... they don't? South Dakota State lists 85 players on their 2024 roster: https://gojacks.com/sports/football/roster And 108 players on their 2023 roster: https://gojacks.com/sports/football/roster/2023
  14. A roster of only 70 players seems pretty tough if you want to have any players straight out of high school that are not ready to play yet.
  15. Obviously this will lead to larger schools having 20 more scholarship players, but it sounds like they will not be allowed to have walk-ons anymore, so they're just replacing however many walk-ons they used to have with 20 scholarship players. Either way, the 105th player on the roster probably knows he is unlikely to play a lot, and will still be deciding whether to play at a smaller school with more likely playing time.
  16. That's basically what SDSU tried to do and the Mountain West treated it like a Notice of Intent to leave, so SDSU had to backtrack.
  17. Naw - We only want kids that bleed burnt orange and are good kids from good families. We will likely act like we forgot she was coming and make her take an Uber from the airport and then have a janitor show her around the facilities. I'm assuming the coaches will send her generic "Congrats!" text with her name misspelled.
