  1. That’s a cool snake. I’ll have to add that to my must see list.
  2. Aerifying greens at our course and scooped this little guy off of a green. About 6” but trying to act mean and bitey. Set him in the rough to get big.
  3. I have one. And a set of knives
  4. I always thought he was the more talented cousin of Jerry Lewis.
  5. You know more than you're letting on. I didn't see the sex of the monitor mentioned in any of the reports. Goddamned lizard fucker.
  6. I used today's quordle in the opening line of the adult novel that I'm writing.
  7. If you found out early enough there are things that will keep the destruction to a minimum. My wife has had if for 10-12 years and takes a Remacade infusion every 8 weeks. Her hands are kinda gnarly but they haven't gotten worse since the treatments began. There is a thread somewhere about immune disorders, @Sbbruin started it. Lots of good info there. Good luck.
  8. Classic double fault?
  9. I don't know what Dude Wipes are but I imagine the stuffed shirts at ANG would rather he didn't have it on his shirt.
  10. It should should make the Stucky/Goering 2022 Reunion interesting. Anybody know what Wayne is up to these days? Working at Arby's? Cool
  11. Wayne Pankratz, the executive director of operations for American Franchise Capital, which owns 50 Applebee's franchises in the Midwest, called on the company to lower wages for workers already hit hard by soaring gas prices and inflation. I share a great grandfather with this asswipe.
  12. I just had a LonestarMan flashback. I wonder whatever happened to him. Kinda miss his music takes.
  13. Thank everything holy, he talked to Jesus about it first.
  14. Yeah, the design is older but I don't think that precludes it from being a solid replacement. With all of the cargo it has hauled over the years I think its proven. You are absolutely right about the beancounter vs engineer war that Boeing had and the shenanigans in procurement.
  15. You probably know more about this than I do but I see the KC-46 Pegasus overhead often. I'm not sure how many of them McConnell AFB has but it looks like the replacement for the 135 is in the works.
  16. Back of the line, Lobo
  17. One of these days...
  18. The wife maintains a fleet of 5-20 barn cats depending on the weather and the fertility of what is hanging around. One of her favorites was laying dead under the heat lamp (pampered pussies) yesterday. It was raining so I told her that I would bury it later. She put it in a trash bag and laid it behind the barn around sundown. She went out this morning to feed her herd and noticed that the bag was still there but it was empty. Nobody has to dig a fucking hole today.
  19. Others obviously see your passion for the cause and recognize your good works. You are definitely worthy of the award. I don’t like to use the hook ‘‘em but a like seemed underwhelming. Keep up the good work. Folks appreciate it.
  20. My wife, RA, has been on Remicade for at least 10 yrs, not sure when she started. She was on Enbrel to start but BCBS kicked her off of my coverage when they saw that she had Medicare. She has been on disability following a TBI in 1988. Luckily for her, Medicare covers her Remicade treatments. Her biggest issue has been finding veins to stick. We are discussing having a port installed but she will resist to the bitter end. How does that work for you Bruin?
  21. Six Car had a really good Kolsch and the kielbasa and pepperoni pizza was the tits. We sat on the rooftop in the shade because it was getting hot. Wait a day and get a blizzard, right? We did the Big Texan Friday night but nobody tried the challenge while we were there. Disappointed but it was never gonna be me. Breakfast at the Barfield was really good. The only downer was the traffic noise outside the hotel every fucking night til after midnight. Seems like Amarillo has a large number of old Cambirds and other muscle cars that like to cruise that street til late. Other than that I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Thanks to all that gave input.
  22. There was a couple coming away from the Lighthouse that was barefoot. Carrying an infant. Real hippy looking folks. They were so dirty I assume they lived that way.
  23. We did the Lighthouse Trail at Palo Duro SP yesterday. Took just under 4 hours. Not too bad for a couple of olds. The wife made it to the bottom of the last scramble and stayed put. SIL and I went to the top while my daughter stayed behind with her mom. Lots of folks on the trail and I was amazed at how unprepared many of them were. No water bottles, little kids in strollers, whatever. It’s an easy enough hike but it sure seems like some don’t give it enough respect. On the way out of the park there was a line of incoming traffic a good mile past the gate. Nuts.
