  1. Balogna salad with swiss, notable only for the first homegrown tomato of the year at the Monkey household.
  2. Floyd #1 but I'm having a hard time picking the second. Bowie, Yes and Paul Simon. Probably Bowie
  3. Hah! Canadian! My Paul Tracy comment was spot on.
  4. Twice with the good advice. If nothing else, this thread exists to let us know we are not alone and help exists. I hope you can find some peace, Brother.
  5. I was going to blame it on Paul Tracy.
  6. MMB. By the milk carton full
  7. That's a hell of a roadtrip. Is she a participant or does she have a business that requires her to be there? The wife and I eat lots of honey. Put it on crackers, cheese, peanut butter sammiches, hot bisquits, the list goes on. I don't know if it is more common here but we have lots of producers in the area. There are a couple of producers with national distribution so there are quite a few beekeepers anywhere you look. A lot of them do crafty, flavored, artsy shit. ETA: I use it in my Old Fashioneds instead of simple syrup. I like it, YMMV.
  8. It's in my neighborhood. It's where I first learned that I liked cowgirls in Wranglers.
  9. That's him in the upper right window of Lubec Landmarks. Kinda like Bert.
  10. Flint Hills Rodeo?
  11. Sheesh. Tampa looks helpless. 3-0 isles pending review. Goal stands.
  12. Bony fucking knees. WNB
  13. 16 tons and whaddaya get?
  14. The puck has lived in the Vegas end.
  15. The National Anthems of both countries were just knocked out of the park. No look at me bullshit. Gave me chills.
  16. No fucking way that yeasty ooze is keeping that beer chilled.
  17. I'm gonna guess this is a Texism? I've been around livestock most of my life and I never heard this before. I'm using this for sure.
  18. Yeah, it was a joke. I am surprised to see how many of us have rigs like this. Wouldn't take much to kevlar that bitch out.
  19. Sand Creek Station is the closest "nice" golf course to me and the one we play when we aren't playing our 9-hole local CC. The native Bluestem rough is almost 2' deep by now and so thick that it is hard to walk through. Finding a ball in that shit is tough. And the chiggers! There is a lot of it on that course but they are pretty fair about mowing enough area between the fairways and rough on most holes to mean that it takes a really poor shot to get in it. I would like to see the scorecard or play-by-play to see how much of the guntsch they were in through 7 holes. Not excusing the douchebags but I can see how it would be irritating. They still behaved like children and deserve all the scorn.
  20. Rinus VeeKay to miss Road America. Fell off of his bike. https://www.espn.com/racing/indycar/story/_/id/31641832/indycar-rinus-veekay-recovering-surgery-broken-left-clavicle-cycling-acci
  21. @pops posted this in the PGA thread elsewhere. https://firepitcollective.com/lets-get-ready-to-rumble/ It gives a more detailed account of the kerfuffle.
  22. The perp looks like he might be a little douchey. https://www.ksn.com/news/crime/man-arrested-after-fight-at-sand-creek-station-golf-course-during-a-qualifying-event-for-wichita-open/ The victim and suspect were golfing together as part of a qualifying event for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour Wichita Open. An argument began when the suspect and his father/caddy refused to help the victim look for an errant golf ball in the rough. The suspect then punched the victim in the face and tackled him to the ground. He held the victim down until he said “uncle” and then released him.
  23. Thanks to all of you that posted last night. I played golf, got drunk and passed out without seeing any of it.
