  1. Guess who dislocated his middle finger wiping his ass. Yeah, this guy did. Only the tip. Hurts like a mother. Looks like I better go get a bidet. I'll have to use my left hand in the meantime. Awkward.
  2. I'm back. One of the owners of the place I work is going into rehab in Wimberly next week. Not sure how they landed on that facility other than his son lives in the Bee Cave area. It's a long way from home and his wife... I plan to go back and read this entire thread over the next few days but would y'all give me the Cliffnotes on being helpful and supportive through this. Any thoughts on the facility? Good choice? I'm at the point that it doesn't matter as long as he sees and admits the need to seek help and not listen to those that want to maintain the perfect veneer. That hasn't worked. Thanks in advance.
  3. ^^^ Yes, he was way too young. Former Shocker and one of my favorites from the Smithson/Fogler transition years. I know he had Covid earlier but it still seems sudden.
  4. It's really easy to remember. One is a shithole with no redeeming qualities and the other is stuck in Kansas.
  5. Nope. This one is in Texas. People get them confused all the time.
  6. Thanks for the bump. I'm a normie, of sorts, but You guys help me keep my head on straightish. Carry on.
  7. Not a PF tune necessarily but it's close enough for gov't work. I had forgotten about this from years ago and remembered it earlier today. Rick Wright's keyboards and DG's guitar work were meant for each other.
  8. I haven't seen the show but I read the article. You are absolutely correct. Well worth the time it takes to read it. BTW, our current rec choices suck. I want to thank you for your post but all I can do is like it. I don't do "hook'em" because I'm not a Texas alum or fan. I have noting against UT.
  9. It's probably safer than Covid vaccine. JK, I'm getting the shot this week. Maybe. I hope
  10. I figured that the jaw-mung would generate enough heat to keep things clear. I have a sad.
  11. She lurks here. If she wants it out there, she can post it.
  12. Shit, Brisket, I'm in the same boat. My daughter is having ACL surgery in Kyle next week and there isn't a damn thing I can do to help. Your post hit close to home. Quick story. Her Freshman year of HS she performed this song at a talent show, dressed just like Dorothy, and knocked it out of the park. I always knew she had a good voice but that was the first time I knew she had a great voice. She went on to do opera in Austin and now is part of a music school there. Whenever I get to missing her I play the freshman recording of her and get verklempt. I won't share her's but it sounds remarkably like Judy.

  14. 4-Prongs makes it a manure fork. Probably still works in this case.
  15. So, I keep Flightradar24 up on one of my monitors all the time. I glanced over and saw that 2 planes were forming one blob directly over my hometown. I pulled up the data and saw that one was at 38,000 ft and the other at 36,000 ft. It appeared that their paths had to cross within less than 2 miles. By the time I got out of my office and looked to the west they were already separated by a good margin. @Bobby_Batronic@DaysOff or any of the Surly pilot mafia, was that closer than normal or common as hell?
  16. Guys! Guys! They're even whiter now!
  17. When I had a patella tendon repair for a torn ACL back in the 70 s, all of the surgeons tools were Craftsman. I was groggy but alert enough to see he raided my toolbox.
  18. Golf only for this cart but we do play almost year round. A buddy has a new EzeGo with factory lithium batteries and I can't tell any difference when it's cold. I suppose if you are going more than 4 hours or so it could be a factor.
  19. Yeah, I don't see livers and hearts on his list of choices. Tragic oversight.
  20. I wanted to play but this post stole all of my thunder. I'm like Jimmy because a song that hits me as perfect changes from day to day but these two never change for me.
  21. If it's a Ford product, there is a vent cannister that can get plugged with dust and make the fill process cycle off. Other makes likely have the same thing for EPA reasons. My mechanic charges me $20 to blow that out and then everything works as it should for a year or so. My gravel roads are very dusty so ymmv.
  22. Thanks for the reply. Zero maintenance is a big plus in my book. I have been quoted $1750 and my old batteries/charger with one day turnaround. A new charger and charge meter is included. I was told by another cart firm that isn't currently doing the swaps to be sure that the battery pack is rated to at least 80 amp/hours. They did a few early on and had poor results with less than that. My guy tells me that his pack will be 100 amp hours so I should be good to go. I have been using my 92 ClubCar gasser since last spring. It's reliable as hell but my country club friends look down their noses at me. Can't have that.
  23. Have any of you done a lithium battery swap? My 2008 Yamaha 48v took a power surge and fried the charger. My understanding is that the swap uses a different charger so I figured to change it all and get batteries that would last 10-15 years in the bargain. Any thoughts?
