  1. Thanks for the reply. Zero maintenance is a big plus in my book. I have been quoted $1750 and my old batteries/charger with one day turnaround. A new charger and charge meter is included. I was told by another cart firm that isn't currently doing the swaps to be sure that the battery pack is rated to at least 80 amp/hours. They did a few early on and had poor results with less than that. My guy tells me that his pack will be 100 amp hours so I should be good to go. I have been using my 92 ClubCar gasser since last spring. It's reliable as hell but my country club friends look down their noses at me. Can't have that.
  2. Have any of you done a lithium battery swap? My 2008 Yamaha 48v took a power surge and fried the charger. My understanding is that the swap uses a different charger so I figured to change it all and get batteries that would last 10-15 years in the bargain. Any thoughts?
  3. Trokar? I hardly know her.
  4. Home schooled, no doubt. Hard to imagine what other bullshit she is teaching them if she can fuck up something that easy.
  5. I broke my CR cherry this evening. I'm not really sure how to feel about that. Strange times indeed.
  6. Marshall objected to both. My guess is that trump or giuliani gave him the same call that tuberville got. He's the most dangerous kind of schlub in that he only does as he's told. He can't tell right from wrong on his own. Kansas came close to voting in the challenger but she made an unfortunate gun comment and scuttled her chances. Marshall will be heard from again and it won't be good news.
  7. Jimmy, could we please, please, please add Roger Marshall to this list? I know he's new and all but I'm sure we've seen his best already. He's a born fucking follower without a single original thought. He's just waiting around to get marching orders from somebody.
  8. This is why I visit this thread often. This is good advice for anybody but something I really needed to see this week. Thank you
  9. I've had the Ryobi 40v chainsaw from Home Depot for a couple years now. Very handy and as powerful as I need. I have cut hedge up to 10" dia and it powers right through it. Lots of torque. I get about an hour with the 4ah batteries but that is usually all that my old ass wants to endure anyway. Same battery powers my string trimmer, blower and hedge trimmer. The only thing that looks weak is the plastic chain tension setup. I went ahead and bought replacement parts JIC but it has held up so far.
  10. Motherfucker!
  11. Right in the feeler. Merry Christmas, assholes.
  12. Ass is a little flat for my taste, butt wood.
  13. This shit makes me ragey. Haven't they ever heard of Vice-Grips?
  14. Bubble wrap, dude
  15. Peacemaker, perhaps? I shoulda refreshed before responding. I see @RPM beat me to it.
  16. https://www.mlb.com/news/negro-leagues-given-major-league-status-for-baseball-records-stats Major League Baseball has long celebrated the legacy of the Negro Leagues. But for the first time, MLB is officially recognizing that the quality of the segregation-era circuits was comparable to its own product from that time period. Addressing what MLB described as a “long overdue recognition,” Commissioner Rob Manfred on Wednesday bestowed Major League status upon seven professional Negro Leagues that operated between 1920 and 1948. The decision means that the approximately 3,400 players of the Negro Leagues during this time period are officially considered Major Leaguers, with their stats and records becoming a part of Major League history. It's about time. It probably deserves it's own thread.
  17. My dad was a gunsmith and specialized at sporterizing military rifles of all kinds. I have coffee cans full of triggers, safeties, barrel bands and whathaveyou that were removed in the process. I have a couple dozen stocks and hand guards leftover. Let me now if you are looking for anything.
  18. I just popped 4 Dulcolax to start the cleanse for tomorrows colonoscopy. At least I'm first in line for the procedure so I won't have to wait long.
  19. I'm guessing that this is a cover. Don't make a shit either way.
  20. I quoted this tweet on another forum that I thought was made up of rational humans. The very first response mentioned Taylor Swift. 57 comments later, not one person has said anything about SS. Dumbfucks
  21. My Dad's sister, my favorite Aunt, lost her battle with covid last night. A close friend, neighbor lady that treated our kids like her own grandkids, passed from it this morning. My best friend lost his dad 2 weeks ago from covid and just texted me that his brother lost both his mother in law and father in law to covid overnight. He's off to Iowa to handle chores on his brothers farm until things settle down. All of these folks were elderly but goddamnit they would all be here today if not for this shit. I'm not sure why I'm posting other than it feels right to spew something right now.
  22. Man, I don't have any good advice for shit like that. I don't FB or social media other that what I do here . I always think that if I ignore the loonies, they don't exist. Call me Pollyanna but that's what I do. Good luck dealing with this.
  23. Not a particular show but I always wanted to see a show at either Fillmore.
  24. Good to hear. My wife received a letter from SSA yesterday that informed her that she was no longer disabled. It really brightened her day. Because of her 66th birthday, she is now "retired". I was amused at her reaction but I guess I never realized the way that her "disability" colored her outlook. Her comment to me was that after 35 years she is a normie again. Her progress was so slow but steady that I forget sometimes just how far she has come. Keep up the work, it does get better. I'm pulling for you.
  25. Probably the "shit on blast" thread in IPIHB, maybe? How are you getting along?
