  1. The thing that is shitty is that a lot of companies want to hire mostly part timers so they won't have to provide insurance. So these people work, but not enough to cover their expenses.
  2. More than 40% pay no income tax. So they are paying nothing while others pick up the slack.
  3. They already are. If you said get rid of the loopholes so they would pay their fair share, I would be all for that. If you say everyone who currently does not have a negative income tax, should pay more so those that do have a negative income tax can get even more, that is when I disagree.
  4. While others receive the same benefits for paying nothing. More than 40% of filers do not pay anything.
  5. Semantics. Why don't we just pool all of our money together and divide it equally between everyone?
  6. I was referring to income tax. I'm assuming that is where this would be funded from. I am not for taxing people more because they make more money. Why punish people for being successful? What about the middle class? How have they "benefited from our system"?
  7. Is it wrong to assume that the middle and upper class are going to have to pay while lower class will not? Some of the lower class do not even pay taxes now and even get money back because of the tax credits. So it's not a straight division of spending and population, unless you propose that everyone pay the same amount regardless of income.
  8. Yeah and when they do question someone, it turns into a race issue. Like what recently happened with SWA.
  9. Dumb question amnesty: How much extra would each person be taxed to pay for single-payer healthcare?
  10. I watched this video about how Aldi keeps prices down but there are none down here in SA. Is it as great as they make it look?
  11. Is it browns or unskilled? Personally, I don't care what color they are.
  12. Texas vs aggy 66.5 win percentage aggy vs Baylor 67.1 win percentage They are as close to being on par with Texas as they are with Baylor.
  13. Didn't he throw the balls directly to the pitcher and catcher? The ump wanted to inspect them to make sure they were legit.
  14. Pampers used to be great, now Huggies are much better IMO.

  16. We have the subscribe and save for diapers to save 20% and have never had an issue with counterfeit diapers.
  17. 1. I'm not for corporate welfare. I think Trump wanted to help his rich friends save money and did it under the guise of helping create jobs and stimulate the economy. I have a hard time believing this will have the impact the talking heads say it will. However, the corporate tax rate in the US is now about average according to Forbes. 2. Curtail the foreign spending. I don't care if it goes to Halliburton or some people who really need it, stop spending it and take care of the US citizens who need it first. Invest in mental health facilities and job training. Side note: One of the programs I like the most is Habitat for Humanity. If you want a house, you have to put in 350-400 hours working on your or someone else's house. I would consider this a great example of helping people who want to help themselves. Definitely NOT a handout in my book.
