  1. "Who are the 'ad wizards' that came up with that one?"
  2. No, it is a large knot (sap) in the SYP that died out & it should have been cut down to a 4 ft. piece & used elsewhere or never installed to begin with.
  3. Stay. I would vote for a bag of toenails before I voted Trump. Even if it did nothing, & America ran on the administration & autopilot, a bag of toenails will not actively destroy America the way Trump & his cronieh jave already stated they will enact.
  4. Try to only stare @ her cans & don't look elsewhere. She's done noodz in @ least 1 movie & they are solid +D"s S.B. is proof that if you always show up on time & don't act a fool, there's a possibility you could get an acting gig.
  5. Shelly Duvall (but not the dead version).
  6. 1. Looks like the failure happened on a knot. The failure also happened with whomever selected that piece of wood & didn't cut it down to use somewhere else. 2. As noted, sister 2 additional pieced of similar sized wood on the sides & nail away. 2a. Prior to fixing the break, dig around @ the bottom of the insulation where this cripple stud connects to the rafter & ensure it didn't somehow come loose @ that joint. If so, gang nail secure it again. 3. Where do you live? If local(ish), I can loan you my Milwaukee cordless 21⁰ framing gun. 4. For walking around up there (do this project before 10! So you don't melt), Home Depot smhas a ⅝" Tongue & Groove piece of OSB that is 2'×4', sized right for most attic access hatches or pull down ladder. Get at least 1 or 2 of those & screw them down so you don't step through the ceiling. Screw in so you can move the new deck OSB if needed (& cut shallow slots in the rafters if you need to slip some cables in there - no more than ½ inch deep. Spread out some of these runners if you have multiple lines to account for).
  7. Get this for her instead of the diamond earrings... it's not like you're getting a blowjob anyway.
  8. Bring a generator or enough extension cord.
  9. ■ Yes, I have been tempted by the TV commercials for this thing. ■ No, I javelin not purchased one of them. I am intrigued by the whole "set it & forget it" deal (thanks, Ron Popiel). Especially the chicken they show on the commercial - def. appealing. Has anyone gotten one of these things? https://www.ninjakitchen.com/page/outdoor-grills I am very adverse to adding another piece of seldom used crap to the kitchen.
  10. Roofing, fences, gutters, structural repairs, masonry. All of that is within our reach.
  11. FYI, we are available for repairs for either temporary, full replacement or both. All crews are local to the area. If sending a PM, please @ me here for a backup notification.
