Looking around for it online... is that an automaticular or pump?

Mine pivots on a 360° ball, so all you need to do is spin it to the driver's window (& hope you have it lined up accurately).I know nothing about cams, but can they be turned inward during a stop? Or would you need a second cam for when you get pulled over?Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk

I keep hitting refresh and videos still not showing up.
Looked great to the human eye, not so exciting on the screen.

Since I'm on the road a lot for my work, I got a dashcam a few years ago. So far, the most interesting thing I've gotten with it is a fox crossing the road in an urban area & 5 or 6 turkey flying across the road out closer to my place.

Have you considered starting an outdoor media company?
For obvious reasons, no.

These 3 are. vids; unsure if TapaTalk will upload them properly because all I get are preview pics / stills.

Doing a small total re-roof today out in Blanco & the customer has 2 nice ponds, neither getting much action or use.
Brought my ultralight gear & had some nice C&R fun.
Had a prob. 10 minute run where every cast brought in some sort of perch. Prob. caught 4 diff. variety overall.

Not sure he handles cases outside Central Texas, but Marty Cirkiel--father of Austin restauranteur Shawn Cirkiel--has a very good reputation in this area.
Yeah, but he said it's Fort Bend. SW corner of Houston area. Not really close enough to make it reasonable.

We blasted so much more than that. Not sure. Same guys that went to Argentina. Said without gloves you're ending the day quite a bit sooner.
Yeah, 1st wife's F-I-L told me about going down to MXX 2 or 3x where you brought 2 or 3 guns & they had "bird boys" who would both swap you out on loaded guns & in between that, they are racing into the field to collect downed doves (apparently no regs on daily bag limit; they wipe out a lot of planted fields down there from what I've been told).

Caught a mountain of shit from friends that took me to a high-brow skeet shoot. Show up wearing matching black, wet-weather golf gloves. Screw it, it was short notice and I don't own shooting/driving gloves.
All day affair, summer, O/U barrels get damn hot. Have to have a set of gloves.
I was @ a skeet shoot on Tuesday. 50 rounds total over 5 stations (5 sets of 2 per station).
Not a single person was gloved. -
Tearing off a roof or doing a roof repair kills any of those pretty fast, all but the thick leather (cuffed) variety. Again, I end up with problems @ the seams or the fingers burning out. Even when I'm doing cedar work, that doesn't cause problems for me anywhere near as fast as the grit from shingles will.

We're assuming this is in Texas?
You didn't specify & of course this is an important component to your needs.

There's one thing that could change that but I'm not putting that out there.

I covet that dock and feeder over the tank. Been eyeing a built for one for a while now to get out past the weeds and cows tearing up the waterline.
Yeah, their entire facility is balls deep. Love going out there except when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction (which it did pretty much the entire time we were outside). The only thing missing from that pond is a good sized cluster of tall trees to provide shade for early or late fishing.

I hate the flurry.
I have done it before, but only when the "team" had already purchased it & nobody else wanted to participate / had to leave early, etc. The Fast & The Furious... that's for sure. This is one of my favorite events for the Rodeo Austin schedule (outside of our Q cookoff & the rodeo 'season' itself).
I keep dropping hints to my wife that I really really really really REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want an O/U 12 ga. (& not in some shitty brand, used is OK provided it's in good cond.) but so far she hasn't even remotely picked up on that.
Guess I'll have to drop the $ 500+ on my own & see if she notices it. Having 10+ longarms that she doesn't look @ too often kinda makes it easy to slip in new guns while she's not looking.
If I get that gun cab. / safe that I mentioned might make that a bit easier as well. -

Very surprised they let you shoot those waterfowl loads at clays. No wonder they were saying it was loud.
Nobody asked me what it was I brought & I only had one person @ one of the stations who was confused by me having my own ammo. I always loaded my own racks except for the 1st station where I was 1st to shoot & our # 2 guy simply handed me shells.
Another fella on a different team brought his own shells; was popping a 28 ga.
I will readily admit that I don't know a lot about the difference between these rounds & a common dove or clay shot. So... hep meh, kind sirs.

Very cool.
were those Ruger Wranglers for sale?
Prize for one of the teams. I forget if it was in addition to the buckles for best shooters or top fund raising team. Don't think they doubled up on prizes for top shots.

Selected scenes from the Rodeo Austin shoot-out yesterday @ the Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch in Buda / Creedmore.
Always a good time & it's been a few years (like, maybe 6 or 7?) since we were back out there for this event.
Only one flight this go, but still a lot of fun. The Fiocchi did well, even if I didn't. Lots of comments on how loud my 12 was.
Had one team that shot 100%, across all stations. Don't know how they did on the flurry.

For the ATX area, we might see a low 90's coming up & a bit lower than that in the MetroPlex
I'm thinking this still won't be enough to push birds further S, no?

I use gloves quite alot, obv. & find there are really 2 options:
1. Buy a low priced but somewhat "decent" pair, the generic "long cuffed" variety. My usual fail point on those is the stitching & they get gaps in the thumb web area or the index finger.
2. Get a quality pair of goatskin / calf skin & use 'em until the fingers get a wear spot.
I'd dig up some Homer Despot links & pics, except lazy right now.

I think we're gonna need@gsoda3 to translate that for us, especially since Horn In Hong Kong doesn't ever come 'round any more.Couldn’t decide whether to put this here or in the LOL thread. Opted for here.
