Some of those old carriers looked like they had a high center-of-gravity.  I mean, I know they used lots of scaffolding, wooden flight decks, etc., and that there was a lot of heavy shit below the waterline, but still, they look like they could make a turn just a little too fast and everything is going down.

Came across this on FB Marketplace; don't know what the general reliability is for this (essentially is the newer body style version of the S-10 Blazer).

Thoughts from the Shag hive mind?

Wait till Black Friday if you can. TSC, Academy and Bass Pro usually have a decent deal on RSAs.

Starting to make some comparisons & will look in around 3 weeks to see what price drops are out there.

  4. Yeah, they really do stuff 'em in tight.  I have 4 scoped; Marlin .22 mag, bolt (stainless), Remington .243 bolt, 30-30 lever & .308 bolt.

2 full sized shotguns (.20 & .12), one yute 20 & one .22 plinker.  If I was really concerned, I'd also include my Gamo pellets (2 of 'em).

  5. Doing a shitload of mudding in the Eastern edge of the Everglades with my buddies back in HS, I've always had a soft spot for a nice hum from an aggressive tread (Gumbo Monster Mudders, yeah).

  6. Starting to make some comparisons & will look in around 3 weeks to see what price drops are out there.  I imagine in this price point there's probably gonna be max $ 75.00 off.

As noted before, I've got enough longarms for this size, a 16 & under.

1st up is the Stack-On Steel, pricing is around $ 370 to $ 400.... Academy is the lower price @ the moment.  The Academy site says "Ships for $ 149" (let's call it $ 150) & I don't know if that's an added cost to every safe or if you want a direct 3rd party consignee they add the one-fitty.

Didn't find this as an "in store" from the Cabela's site, but it does show up on the Bass Pro page, another $ 400 product.

Specifically, I am looking to sell a ~ 5 year old car

    Whatcha got?

I need to buy something for my Mom.

This applies to anyone reading; don't want to drive more than maybe 100 miles away from 78620.

Tell me all the bad parts about your vehicle, don't make me come to look & find out it's got issues you (or any respondent) "forgot" to mention.

Prefer an SUV type where she can slide horizontally for in / out (needs total hip ×2, shoulder surgery, etc).

Would be nice if it was new enough for a backup camera but not a deal breaker.

Assume pretty much everything these days has power windows / locks / remote & automatic trans.
