What's the cost on a 2nd story? You can PM me if you want to come see what you'd be into. I also need a short section of additional gutter added where I have none.
I've been to the house before for a small shingle repair; what section of the house are we talking about? You can always screenshot your house via Google Maps & then post that into MS Paint, trim all the misc. off & send that over via text or email.

Well, THAT certainly was a dick move.

Oh, & I've heard from more than a few people that said hammock camping absolutely crushed their backs in the AM.

I have a hammock and a good sill-nylon tarp but I mainly use it in warmer weather. In winter, I prefer to be on a pad on the ground . Some of the state parks are not allowing tying off to trees so that can also become an issue.
Yeah, it would be OK if *everyone* did the right thing & wasn't girdling tree trunks, but then it only takes one fly to spoil the whole pot of soup.
As to the tent, this would be a car camping type item & I also have plans for a pair of lightweight tents once he gets into the backpacking. I'm going to take a few looks @ CraigsList & see what I can find as far away as San Antonio & maybe on up to Temple, over to Marble Falls or Fredricksburg, etc.

Too bad Shag2.0 doesn't have the ability to enter any comments that go along with the specific rep whatever.

I do the same. I’ve got 4-5 regular passwords, and I have them written down in “code” using synonyms and other keywords that work as my cipher.

Next up is a larger hook & loop section that goes under the Troop #'s (soft side on the shirt) that will cover the old sticky stuff that left a very visible mark & will also hold a patch for whatever role I take on in the Troop past "Committee".

Went to another CoH today, it's for the Scout in our Troop who I did the roof installation for on his "insanely awesome over the top" bulletin board project @ their church.
Not that I thought the food @ the last one was bad, but this one had Salt Lick Q (sausage, brisket, slaw, beans, tater salad)... I knew it was them by the slaw / tater salad & mustard-y Q sauce.
This particular Scout is aiming towards med school & from what I've seen of him, he's going to be successful. Has 2 of the High Adventure locations under his belt + Philmont / Tooth of Time & managed to get his BSA Recruiter strip as well. Also in OA. Quality Scout all the way around.
In other news, I finally swapped out my red / white Cub Scout #'s for the BSA "unified" version.
Monster is 11 & took the pic in front of this Eagle project, so no real apologies for the out of level issues.
Also, you'll noticed that when I sew on patches, they don't get much chance to come off.

Looking for flooring and countertops in the SW (Slaughter/Brodie) area.
If the former GDLover (now @Born to Run) would ever answer his damn tagged posts, he'd be your guy for that. I've seen his kitchen work, good stuff.

Those fuckers on YouTube lie. I changed the multifunction switch on my z71 last month. Video was less than a half hour. Took me about 8.Here's my current "YOU LIE!" YouTube vidja:
The problem with our '07 Tahoe isn't that the hose connecting part broke, it's the portion that connects to the silver tube.
I have a hose fitting tool (the white "C" shaped fitting thingies) but can't get it to release from the plastic part.
To top it off, there is also a firewall connecting part & that also seems just as impossible to reach in & work on, but for now I'd be happy to get the silver tube (top one) disconnected from the quick connect. -

Currently, I'm replacing the thermostat on a 3rd gen Dodge Ram.

on my to-do list:
- destroy and remove a cracking concrete patio and replacing it with wood and built in seating
- leaf guards for the gutters. invent some roomba-type gadget to brush/blow all of the tree shit off the roof and clean the skylights (i can dream, right?)
We can assist you with the demo on the patio if that's a bit too much for you - price would depend on whether or not we are removing the debris, priced per day + that hauling option.
As to the gutter situation, $ 11.00 / foot for a 1 story LeaFree system + any possible miscellaneous whatevers if required. & We'll blow all the leaves off the roof included in the cost. This would be an addition to your existing gutters with no removal / replacement of the existing system. -

Hiker Direct gear arrived yesterday; haven't had an opportunity to open the box. Will advise & post pics when I do.
Looking @ a tent now, REI has a Big Agnes Chimney Creek Mountain Glo (has LED's integrated inside the rig) for $ 375. Considering it... Shag 2.0'ers, convince me to buy (or not buy) this tent.
Would be for up to 2 to use, mostly me & the son or my wife & daughter, prob. not the 4 of us @ once due to space internal, etc. (i.e. a 6 person fits 4+ gear, etc).https://www.rei.com/rei-garage/product/108450/big-agnes-chimney-creek-4-mtnglo-tent

Beavers Bend in Oklahoma isn't too far from Dallas or Fort Worth. It's about as good as a campground as you can get for getting back into some easy tent camping and introducing kids to it. It's also far enough away that it feels more like a trip to something different instead of just going to the closest state park.
Do you see what you did wrong?

Of course there is always a potential that a password saving site is going to get hacked, so... no great answer.
I maintain a couple of contacts on my phone that are my account & PW info & that is saved in the notes & I refer to that when needed.

Apparently the fine folks @ YETI have pissed off a lot of people for a purported "non 2A" stance.
Read on:
“Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with The NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why. They will only say they will no longer sell products to The NRA Foundation. That certainly isn’t sportsmanlike.
In fact, YETI should be ashamed. They have declined to continue helping America’s young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities. These activities enable them to appreciate America and enjoy our natural resources with wholesome and healthy outdoor recreational and educational programs,” the alert reads. “In this day and age, information is power. We thought you needed this information.”

The hitch is also useful as a sorta "feeler" for backing in where there's a wall, large rock or the wooden wall @ the feed store & I can lightly tap it vs. my bumper getting in there.
Plus, a close in & backed in parking is desired @ Pug's so I can put the horse feed in right off the front porch vs. going around the side & having to toss it over. -

As a kid, a couple of diodes from a radio my dad took apart (they looked like candy), various denominations of change, pillbugs, dirt. As an adult if tried some weird shit but the weirdest was on a fishing trip I took a drunken bet to take a couple of bites out of a cabbage head that washed up on the beach. It was nasty.
On first read, I thought you had ingested a couple of dildoes; that would have made more sense.
& My newest item was a small chip from a bag of Snyder's of Hanover honey mustard pretzel. It was sitting on the floormat; I think that was from yesterday's "nibble while you drive" event. -
First, 'Shank will need to drill down for a true win:win.
Of course that's after we blueprint this & get buy-in from all the related contributors & circle the wagons for an in-house meeting to discuss the relevant partnership support hubs.
