  1. Our Pack usually books the Lex trip for Easter weekend.

Very empty, damn near have the whole boat to yourselves.  We did the Lex 3x; 1x with the wife & Roxette... my wife bitched about the sleeping accommodations the whole time but overall I didn't find the racks to be too bad.

We also did around a 20 minute beach cleanup somewhere between the Aquarium & the Lex so Monster could get one of his Belt Loops (now called "Adventure Loops").  I  assisted, but most of it was to get him moving along & not cut corners.
The  Pack is doing their JSN on 29 Aug., my birthday, & I intend to come out & assist where needed + bring some of Monster's old Cub uniforms to allow kids to try them on for size & ordering.

  2. 2nd for Judo & also if you don't want your kid to actually get hurt, Take my Dough (their sparring has everyone so effing up-armored, you have to shoot them to get through the cladding).

If you can find a good Shotokan or even better yet, a Shorin-Ryu program, consider that a success.  Judo, OTOH, is good because a quality Dojo will work equally with

Nage-Waza (throwing techniques: hip, foot, hand, sacrificial)
    Katame-Waza (grappling techniques)
    Atemi-Waza (body striking)
Uke-Waza (blocking & other defensive avoidances or counters)
Ukemi (how to fall... back, side, forward, roll-outs)

For little kids, they will start with Ukemi & a lot of Ashi--Waza (foot techniques) so as to prevent serious harm to kids that don't know how to receive a simple O-Goshi (major hip throw).

A good Judo program has BJJ type stuff in the ground work AND throws.  IMO, BJJ doesn't do anywhere near enough throws (if @ all).

  3. Starters are actually quite easy & are buried "UNDER & to the side" for most vehicles.

I replaced the starter on my Ram Cummins 2x (last one, I smacked my finger between the starter & the  transmission crossmember & damn that shit still hurts 1 week later).

Replaced the starter on my Chevy 350 2x as well.  Similar process as the Cummins.

    The 3 hassles will be

    1.  In having the right sockets as they are a 12 point

    2.  Getting the snap connector off (always a hassle).

    3.  Getting that one bolt off from up top as you have to do this one blind & can only use a ratcheting wrench (there are 3 total).

One added aggravation is the weight of the fucker & you're lifting it while on your back & in tight quarters.

Considering the time, I can't see you being charged for more than 1.5 hours total & for sure less if you have the vehicle already jacked up & the part on hand.  BTW, you may as well do your oil change while it's in the air.

Yeah, what seems to be the problem? Re-piping?

Customer & his family have lived in this house for going  on 5 years now & the 2nd story was only 75% completed.  Floors, sheetrock on walls & ceiling, but not much more than this.

We're finishing out the closets (were just framed space), completing a bathroom in one of the dormers; it has 2 facing the "front" side.  Have already done framing & lined everything up + also some basic electric (fart fan, overhead lights), added built ins for the entry area for use as linens, etc.
Now we're down to the part where a plumber needs to finish everything off for the water in & out, then we can place the tub & get tile + vanity going.

The window didn't need to be swapped out because the tub will be placed in the center of the floor with an overhead shower & round curtain hanging from a ring.

    What’s the job?

Nick Green at Union Jack Plumbing was my go to guy but he limits what type of work he does now.
I’ve had a lot of referrals to Wilson Plumbing but they central - dunno if they go to the sticks

I know exactly where Union Jack lives (in Oak Hill on Red Willow).  I did a FB request on a local page & got some referrals, will check those out + these 2.

Unless there was a way to accurately predict when and where it would hit and be able to evacuate that area, I'd rather not know it was coming.

Yeah, I'm still not getting laid even IF we were to get warned by NASA that a massive Earth killer was on it's way.
