Trump has essentially "back doored" his way into the highest level Federal job there is.
If he had to get an FBI background check to be a janitor @ some 2 office wildlife refuge in the middle of nowhere, he would not have passed.
NecroBump, yeah... it was the only thread that cane up with a reasonable title for this gem of an unsolicited PM I received through FB.
FB is chock full 'o crazies.
Cuba doesn't want any boat traffic that they cannot control; the last thing is a zillion smaller boats with someone hiding under a stack of life jackets.
As to distance over to the Bahamas, something like Lauderdale to Bimini is gonna be your best route. Lots of fast boats make a day trip with 1 ~ 1½ hours East, spend a day, 1½ hours West.
"Crazy Greg" was known for that trip.
No, it is a large knot (sap) in the SYP that died out & it should have been cut down to a 4 ft. piece & used elsewhere or never installed to begin with.
Stay.
I would vote for a bag of toenails before I voted Trump.
Even if it did nothing, & America ran on the administration & autopilot, a bag of toenails will not actively destroy America the way Trump & his cronieh jave already stated they will enact.
Try to only stare @ her cans & don't look elsewhere.
She's done noodz in @ least 1 movie & they are solid +D"s
S.B. is proof that if you always show up on time & don't act a fool, there's a possibility you could get an acting gig.
1. Looks like the failure happened on a knot. The failure also happened with whomever selected that piece of wood & didn't cut it down to use somewhere else.
2. As noted, sister 2 additional pieced of similar sized wood on the sides & nail away.
2a. Prior to fixing the break, dig around @ the bottom of the insulation where this cripple stud connects to the rafter & ensure it didn't somehow come loose @ that joint. If so, gang nail secure it again.
3. Where do you live? If local(ish), I can loan you my Milwaukee cordless 21⁰ framing gun.
4. For walking around up there (do this project before 10! So you don't melt), Home Depot smhas a ⅝" Tongue & Groove piece of OSB that is 2'×4', sized right for most attic access hatches or pull down ladder.
Get at least 1 or 2 of those & screw them down so you don't step through the ceiling. Screw in so you can move the new deck OSB if needed (& cut shallow slots in the rafters if you need to slip some cables in there - no more than ½ inch deep. Spread out some of these runners if you have multiple lines to account for).
■ Yes, I have been tempted by the TV commercials for this thing.
■ No, I javelin not purchased one of them.
I am intrigued by the whole "set it & forget it" deal (thanks, Ron Popiel).
Especially the chicken they show on the commercial - def. appealing.
Has anyone gotten one of these things?

I am very adverse to adding another piece of seldom used crap to the kitchen.
