We watched that movie in 9th grade English class.
Same here. Probably not even close to the same HS though. Where you go?

The Fly. So gruesome for my young mind.
I've seen too much.

I watched Teen Wolf and The Howling the same night with a friend when I was probably 9. The Howling was pretty scary for me at that time.

Trigger Warning starring Jessica Alba.
Wife and I were doing some financial stuff last night, so we clicked on the first brainless crap that we came upon to put on in the background, knowing full well it would suck.
It was so bad that it was almost good. Jessica Alba is an elite special operator returning home to uncover the small town corruption that got her father killed. Either Alba insisted on doing most/all of the stunts herself, or the entire stunt team needs to be blacklisted from Hollywood.
I think she must have sat through half a knife class and half an MMA class for exercise, and some dude trying to get laid told her how bad ass she looks wielding a knife. Then she called her agent to find her something, anything that would let her be the action lead. It's the only explanation.
My best friend from HS is in this movie. Think he gets his ass kicked in the opening scene. I actually need to see it. He tries hard and has been an extra in tons of movies or has a bit part but generally it's bad movies he does.

Here’s a high res version of Blood In, Blood Out I found in YouTube a while back. Enjoy!
One semester in college back in the late 90’s my roommates and I decided to drop cable and had a Blood In, Blood Out VHS and wore that thing out. It was on loop for almost the entirety of 1999. We knew every word of every line to a 3+ hour movie. Good times!
Give me some chon chon!

You beat me to this reference. Hopefully he participates in team lifting sessions though.
I'm still baffled that Lee Jackson's acting career never took off after this. Looking mean and shaking your head is some great character work.

No aggy. This is the second best offense our defense has played this year. Our D plays against our offense enough to know what good O looks like.

I’m ready to see what we look like against Beck and this offense. By far the best we’ve seen. Texas is playing sound and can get after your ass. Time to take it up a level.
I hope we have a lot left in the playbook we haven't shown and are ready to dial it up.

He was touted as a guy who took the AR and added a heavy run component to it. He has had several top 25 offenses (I think he even had one at UNT) with a strong run game.
The thing is he also had much better QBs vs the standard D of his competition. So is he a Peter Principal guy who kept getting lucky by landing someplace that had a legit QB talent and needed structure or his system was solid? The fact that he had multiple 1k rushers, its pretty safe to say he is not a pure Air Raid guy like Riley. He has some plan in the run game, but watching OU I am not sure what the hell they are doing. It doesn't help that their RB room is abject garbage, so the only real dynamic game-breaker running the ball is Hawkins.
Did they decide that trying to be "cute" with weird misdirection was their only chance since the OL can't get drive? Is this a mishmash of Letrell's stuff, Lebby's stuff, and Bedenbaugh input as the senior guy on the offensive side of the ball?
My personal view is that BV decide that he didn't want to let Hawkins's mistakes lose the game for them and so they limited his decisions.
Didn't he have his best offenses at UNT when Harrell was the OC? It felt like just scanning the scoreboard the following seasons that he had a drop off but not sure if they lost an all world QB as well or important other personnel were no longer there.

Took son for fall break. I hid my tear when the goose flew away with the flock. Pissed me off that I got emotional there.
Also saw transformers and was pleasantly surprised with the origin story. I expected to hate it but it wasn't bad. Not perfect but better than expected.
