  1. That built in advantage has always been there. In the past, rural party leaders recognized that and tried to work with the populace somewhat. Mitch went all in on tyranny. Right wing populists always wanted to burn it down. Because of Mitch, left wing populists want to burn it down now as well. For the first time ever, we probably have a majority of Americans that want it burned down, and that includes the Civil War. In the Civil War, the majority wanted to keep it together. This is largely due to Mitch, not Trump. Mitch was super effective in getting the kitchen remodeled, but he left the gas running on the stove, so that supposed effectiveness is worth nothing.
  2. Did his objectives include destroying congressional decorum permanently and bringing the nation to the brink of collapse? Because he did those things. And if he didn't have them as goals then he was an ineffective politician. He wanted to make a long term change to the Supreme Court. If it is only short term, then he was even ineffective in achieving that goal. And 21st? There have been no effective politicians, Mitch included. Obama was the most effective though. Mitch and Trump offer almost zero legislation as their legacy. This is the end, my friend.
  3. Open the door mid flight and toss his ass out.
  4. Depends how you look at it. He is effectively kicking off the end of America unless someone else manages to stop it. If that is the goal of an American politican, then he has been the most effective. If the goal is to maintain stability while also pushing through your policies, then he has been an abject failure. But I do think Mitch suffers from the same syndrome as many conservatives. He believes America will continue to exist simply because it has been existing. However, like any nation, America operates under a social compact. Mitch has damaged that social compact irreparably. So when/if we collapse, Mitch's name will be in the first paragraph of future history books regarding that collapse. Is that the work of an effective politican? I know that never Trump conservatives like yourself think you can put the shit back in the horse and we will all just get along again, but that ship has sailed. 30 to 40% of this nation are Trump supporters who would already revolt because they believe the election was fraudulent. You also have around 25% of the nation who are leftists who are done with the charade as well after Trump/Mitch. Biden is like a bandaid on a Chernobyl victim. The patient is already dead. He just doesn't know it yet.
  5. If he isn't gonna be an Astro, it would be nice to have him on the Mets.
  6. So let's say Trump puts a large sum of money in a trust on the condition that Pence pardon Trump in the future before Biden's inauguration. If Pence fails to pardon Trump before then, the contents of the trust revert to Trump. Pence accepts the conditional trust and promises to pardon Trump when he becomes President. Trump then pardons Pence for accepting that bribe and everything else. Trump resigns the next day. A few days later, Pence gives Trump a blanket pardon and the contents of the trust are fully distributed to him. If that happens, would Pence have committed a crime after he was pardoned?
  7. Yeah I was sick as a dog in January/February but had no antibodies when I was tested in June. But also, I usually get a very bad cold or flu every winter. That wasn't the worst I've had in the last decade. It is funny that everyone seems to forget that other illnesses still exist, especially in Winter 2019 before anyone was socially distancing or mask wearing. 2019/2020 was a regular old flu season still. Same here. I'm actually enjoying not getting colds regularly. I'd like to see 2 things stick around after this. 1) If you're sick at all, then don't go to the office and make half the office sick too. You arent a trooper. You're an asshole. 2) Always wear masks on public transportation. Neither will happen though.
  8. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6942e2.htm?s_cid=mm6942e2_w There were 300k excess deaths as of October 3rd.
  9. What does she want to replace property taxes with?
  10. He narrowed it down to the part where the average IQ continues to plummet. So that's pretty much all of Kansas.
  11. What about when McConnell refuses to confirm even a single Biden court nominee for his entire term? At this point, he has realized that there are zero repercussions for doing so. He is probably kicking himself for confirming a handful of Obama's lower court nominees. And it will be all EOs. And that power will also be checked as hard as possible.
  12. But dad, the only reason you had me is because you were fucking around in high school without a rubber. Was I a mistake? Why do I need to wear condoms? They don't feel good. You never got AIDS either. Plus I love Amber. I know she fucks Paul too, and she sometimes blows other guys for money, but we are gonna get married one day.
  13. The shittiest part of all this is that one day Trump is going to have a state funeral. Dems will be humble and somber. Republicans will kneel in prayer. Ted Cruz will cry real tears.
  14. Gonna be Jr in 2024. He has been trying his best to pick up the mantle and has had some success. Although, while having already accomplished the seemingly impossible task of being a bigger asshole than his father, he can't deliver the speeches as effectively. But for 2024, he won't need to carry all the water. Sr will run from 2021 to 2023 before stepping down for health reasons and then Jr will slide right in. They are always going to run someone for the next 20 years. Campaign fundraising is their primary source of income now.
  15. Not gonna happen. He will go to Mar a Lago a week or two before with no fanfare. He will pretend that he will go back to the White House to close it out, but he will never go back. And to be honest, it's best for everyone if it happens this way. Then the fun begins. We have the NY state trials. But also the GAO will inventory White House publicly owned art and probably find a lot of it missing. Hopefully, every moving truck is inspected.
  16. To an extent. Many parents seem that way, but most aren't actually. Follow what I say not what I currently do is hypocritical. But follow what I say not what I've done is not. Its learning from your mistakes. It doesn't really work as a parenting strategy but it isnt hypocritical. Teenagers, like their parents before them, are really only going to learn from their own mistakes. Newsom is a hypocrite for sure though.
  17. Then we can just lock the bunker from the outside, cut off the internet and TV feeds, and build a new bunker for future Presidents. We can drop Big Macs down the feeding tube every now and then. He gets to live in the White House forever while being effectively imprisoned. Everyone gets what they want.
  18. Yep. Now imagine for a second that an imam was having rallies like this, challenging the validity of our government, and encouraging violence.
  19. He will rage tweet from an undisclosed location but he will never do a white house farewell. He doesn't admit defeat and he is also non-confrontational in person. He doesn't have the spine to really fight the transition nor does he have the heart to walk away gracefully.
  20. But if they throw out the ballots for President, then they would have to throw out all the down ballot races too. So special elections everywhere?
  21. What each state was before is irrelevant. They are not sovereign now. China did not cede its sovereignty to the UN.
  22. You continue to use a false equivalence. China is not equivalent to a single US state. It is a sovereign nation. The UN as a whole is not equivalent to the USA. The UN is an opt-in organization that China, as a sovereign nation, may leave whenever it chooses to.
