  1. And you know. Maybe the bandaid needs to be pulled off. 4 or 8 years of Biden is like putting some neosporin on a brain dead grenade victim. We can keep him alive a while longer, but we aren't gonna save him. May as well toss the 2nd grenade in and get this over with. The entire Lincoln Project came about because old GOPers finally figured out that a Trump 2nd term is the end of the US as we have known it. Too little too late, IMO. They allowed the first term to achieve just about all its civil war 2.0 goals. Pacific states are already looking for the exit. I don't see how Biden stops that. Especially if you still have McConnell blocking even Biden's modest moves.
  2. So its a pray the gay away place, huh? Cuz that dude is gay as hell, nttiawwt.
  3. Counterpoint. A single sociopath millenial named Mark Zuckerberg allowed for Parscale to make a living, and allowed for Trump to be elected in the first place. For Gen X, the internet was fun and new. Millenials turned it into a shitshow.
  4. Ok. A couple more broad brushes. Gen X is 41 to 55. Most not 50 something. Also, the entirety of millenials were over 18 in 2016. Where was that world changing vote? Gen X invented generational apathy. Millenials perfected it.
  5. Who are you calling 50-somethings?
  6. Maybe. But rally turnout never meant shit. Trump got 144,000 votes in Tulsa County in 2016. He will also win Tulsa County and Oklahoma in a landslide in 2020. Hell, he could kill Barry Switzer and disband OU football and they'd still vote for him. Although if he did that, I might vote for him too.
  7. Does it matter? Are we gonna pretend that Mitch won't auto confirm whoever Trump picks? Hope all these fired and resigned people are taking copies of everything with them. Trump is hoping to replace them with an industrial shredder.
  8. "Racism isn't a problem here" says person from a 98% white town who gathers an armed posse together because black people might peacefully assemble on main street.
  9. In other words, "Please don't do anything more, but if you do, we aren't gonna do shit. K. Thanks."
  10. Mitch is a symptom. The Senate structure is the disease which has our nation on the brink of collapse. It should be the lower chamber and get the House of Lords treatment. Instead it allows a tyrannical minority party to essentially control all 3 branches of government. It can outright block new legislation, can dictate court appointments, and can control executive enforcement.
  11. You're wrong on that. It isn't "appointed by Trump" that is the problem. It is "selectively confirmed by Mitch" that is the problem. The primary problem with Gorsuch is that Merrick Garland was nominated for that vacancy by the sitting POTUS in accordance with the Constitution. The Senate abandoned its Constitutional responsibility and refused to even hold a hearing, much less confirm him. That also introduced a precedence and possibility that future Senates may never again confirm any nominations made by opposition Presidents. Just wait until next year when Mitch maintains his narrow Senate majority and confirms 0 of Biden's judge/justice nominations for the next 2 years. So while Kavanaugh is much less qualified than Gorsuch, Kavanaugh did fill a vacancy properly. However, I would prefer a court with Garland and Gorsuch on it rather than Garland and Kavanaugh.
  12. Its an awesome movie actually.
  13. That was donated to the LAPD. Donations to PDs and unions should be outlawed as well. Does Houston still have those bullshit HPD union donation rear windshield stickers?
  14. Its kind of amazing that he doesn't fall over.
  15. I am pretty sure he had that with Bannon and Breitbart in 2016. Winning scuttled the deal. I think he will be untouchable for OAN. He is going to have a very hard time staying out of legal trouble. There are already lawsuits waiting to happen on day 1. There will be many more after he carries on his defamatory tirades without sovereign immunity protection. And unlike OAN itself, Trump is going to get zero free passes by anyone he defames. He is going to get sued for every single one. OAN doesn't have pockets deep enough for that. I'm also pretty sure that this is the reason that Fox News has been quietly and slowly distancing themselves from him. They can't risk having a non-President Trump saying things on the air.
  16. That plus a vaccine either finished or imminent could very well be enough for him to win. There's a reason Trump is still about even money in betting markets despite polling indicating a wipeout. A vaccine won't swing it his way. He's royally fucked on all covid messaging, good or bad. Barr is almost certainly going to try to clear a late path. At the very least, I expect BS federal charges against Hunter Biden to be filed in the last week of October. I also think there will be a direct Joe Biden investigation announced outside of the Hunter attack. However, I am not sure what that will be yet. Even though it can be complete bullshit, it still needs to have some pre-existing conspiracy legs to work.
  17. Wait, @bad_teammate told me there was no need for that. It is the perfect slogan.
  18. Yep, also all it takes is one ill timed event to swing the whole thing to Trump. Comey did it for Trump last time. This time Trump has the AG on the Trumpco payroll. There will be several anti-Biden surprise announcements and investigations in late October/early November, I'm sure.
  19. Are Trump's suits $2000? I've seen $200 off the rack Mens Wearhouse suits that fit and look much better than his. When Chris Christie looks better in a suit than you do, you need to fire your tailor.
  20. Doubt he uses it. I have heard it from working class white racists in NYC, but I doubt it was ever commonly used among Trump's crowd. I also never heard it from my older deep south family either even though they were also racist. I think that generation in the South eventually learned not to say it, and found it easier to take racist action when they didn't use incendiary words. In the early 80s, I remember getting put in the black waiting room at the doctor's office because my uncle had hepatitis, all of us had to get shots, and they didn't want to expose white patients. Everyone was super polite while being that racist and separate waiting rooms were still a thing in some parts of MS. I heard it more from my Gen X cousins who used it in children's rhymes and insults.
  21. I imagine there would still be union general statues in states of the USA. The confederates weren't looking to capture the north. Who knows what the confederacy would look like now 150 years later. They couldn't possibly still have slavery. They would have also had to deal with loads of foreign power interference and insurrections.
  22. As if he had the treasury cut the USPS a check for it. No doubt they had to send it for free and it will show up as red ink in their ledger. Which will only make him bitch more about the post office losing money.
  23. Just when you think he couldn't possibly be any worse. Does he wake up every day and try to figure out how to be a bigger asshole than the day before?
  24. Just received a letter signed by Trump telling me that I got an economic impact payment which I already received in another letter. I also got a postcard from Trump telling me his plan for the coronavirus a couple months ago. I'm guessing every adult got one. I don't recall ever getting a single piece of mail from Obama, W, or Clinton. How much does it cost to send every American a letter? 20 or 30 million dollars?
