  1. FIFY That's going to be on the minds of every coach we play until we make stops. Here's to hoping that happens starting Saturday. 🤘
  2. Spencer Sanders is a rich man's Vince Young, but with more speed, agility, and accuracy. Sanders will impose his will on our defense (and probably their loved ones) and we can do nothing to stop the coming tide. Heisman vote frontrunner, and the only player being invited to NYC for the presentation. Jaden, Braydon and Bryson are the best triple threat the CFB world has seen since Roy, BJ, and Sloan played for Texas. They're so good that they already hold receiving records in the NFL under the assumed names of "Tyreek Hill", "Travis Kelce", and "DeAndre Hopkins". Brutal job for our defense and secondary, who I've been told asked Sark, quietly, to stay in Austin due to concerns for their well-being and safety. The only problem is the rest of the team over heard them and asked to stay home too. Sark was all for letting them stay back, but since the rest of the team found out he's making everyone make the trip Stillwater. Did you catch the Alabama v Tennessee game last week and see Saban all pissed off? It wasn't the game. Saban had written to Mike Gundy for coaching advice and to hopefully obtain a coordinator position on his staff next year. Saban worked on his 52 page letter/proposal all summer long, but was told the bad news via headset by the assistant trainer he made read the response letter on Saturday. The response from Gundy was on a wrinkled Ruidoso Downs bet slip that had a grocery list on one side and on the front was "No. Please stop writing me!" written in red lipstick. I've also heard a rumor that I've been trying to track down, and although it's not confirmed yet, I still think it's worth mentioning as a possibility to prepare for. I was told that T.Boone was planning on haunting the Longhorn sideline during the game and has recently mastered the "Cold Breath on the Neck" trick and has an off color joke he heard in the 30's. Chills. As much as I'd like for Texas to prevail and ride, it's just not going to work out this weekend I'm afraid. Texas - 7 (2 safeties and a fg) OSU - 103 (...at the half) The announcers hold a 30 second moment of silence, then the network runs "Hanging with Mr. Cooper" reruns for the rest of the time slot.
  3. I agree with that. I'm just bitter about those blown assignments. We need the D and O to be on point the rest of the season.
  4. I said this in my head as soon as I saw his picture. Grade A Dipshit.
  5. Death by a thousand cuts is still death. Bend is fine, but the breaking on some of the drives, and particularly 3rd down stops was brutal. They have to get better on that down. Down and distance wasn't a factor, because they picked up 3rd and short, medium, or long going in either direction. If they can find a way to make 2 more stops a game, we should be able to keep winning. I hope you're right and this is a statement game for the D and Texas. OSU will be tough and I'd like to see a complete game on both sides of the ball. 🤘
  6. 1999, Tee Martin, not Peyton Manning.
  7. Worthy said in the post game that he runs that route/play in practice and the D plays it well because they see it all the time. So he knew they hadn’t seen it and that he knew it was going to work. 😁🤘🏼 Hey! That’s me! Yeah, we’ll we’ve taken the last 3 pretty hard so it’s their turn to be bitter. At least they have that sweet culture to fall back on. 😬 I’m… ok.
  8. But...FootWork King said he was the greatest of all times?!?!
  9. "Welcome to my world, won't you come on in..." #KeepBV #WanderThe Desert
  10. I was hit or miss, the signal seemed to come in waves, but overall it was working enough to see scores. I was also 15 rows under the AT&T sign and there was a signal booster close by. That being said, I like that the focus during that game is on the game itself with little to no bullshit outside of small asides for dedications and whatnot. At DKR, I'd just like the band to be featured more than the DJ music and get rid of Cole and find someone that will give the old school announcing a try.
  11. ...because all other games that day are meaningless, and you have a phone I presume.
  12. I think Tennessee can do it, but for some reason it feels like a trap game, where we find ourselves watching the final minutes of the game with Bama up by 21 and the Tennessee fans asking themselves what happened. Plus, that Safety with the arrest is 100% playing in this game, I'd bet the house on it. I'm still taking Bama. Saban is Saban for a reason and his teams find ways to win. Either way, it should be fun. The one thing that bugs me is the turnover margin for Bama. They need to protect the ball better. Is Bama a good team or do they just out talent everybody? I think they are ripe for an upset, but I think they get up for this game like no other and find a way.
  13. Any golf fans find this a surprisingly simple explanation on how to focus while kicking putting? Visualization of all the moving parts and seeing the kick go in before it's kicked. I kicked FGs in HS and tried to do this as best I could, but this really resonates with me for golf, or any situation where focus is needed. Dudes a beast... and a Longhorn Legend. 🤘

  15. I Have a video of it I took from the empty Sooner end zone that’s awesome. I’ll try to post it later.
  16. It was. I’m still kind of shocked honestly. It’s as if the gods asked someone from Surly what their wet dream of a TX/OU game outcome would be and made it so. Fuck yes! Fuck OU! Hook’em 🤘🏼
  17. I ate their too but we were at the head table and knew the owner. Our total for 5 guys was $5,118.23. 😳 But the owner discounted down to $1.,487.82. BUT… Dude. We had a 7 course meal that included… the largest shrimp scampi, oysters and Cavier, crab rigatoni, grilled king crab, waygu prosciutto, steak, grilled asparagus, 6 different desserts, and $2600 of wine. We drank 10 bottles. Best meal I’ve ever had. Boner fuel.
  18. Ewers. Card has done what a good back up should, keep the offense rolling as best he can and hope the D keeps you in it. Now that the starter is ready, you let him take the reins back over. If he looks rusty or isn't in game shape, you let the backup QB do his job again.
  19. I suck at this but here is my humble submission. Thanks for all the content and laughs, fellas! 🤘
  20. BJ Johnson, one of my favorite players of all time. 🤘 Sad, that the O couldn't just say fuck it, and run their own plays. Davis and Mack were the definition of "Turtle" in this game. Hit them in the mouth and keep doing it until they stop you. Just win, Baby!
  21. We, too, thought Davis called shitty games. VY and Colt were godsends to Davis, and Mack for that matter.
  22. We're the evil empire to everyone, it's what they do, so I embrace it. As a Yankee fan, it comes with the territory. Naw, it'll stay up because nobody gives a fuck about this guy and his opinion, other than those that already know him and share his opinion. Leaving this conference is like divorcing an abusive partner. The marriage had lots of potential, but the constant nagging, finger-pointing and bullshit we've had to endure since 1996 has worn down the last strongholds we had to stay. So, we're leaving and taking the dog with us to our new place, but while we make our exit and finalize the paperwork, the spouse wants to keep getting digs in because they have nothing else to fall back on. Which is fine, and we'll be fine. My thoughts on leaving the conference are that I will miss ISU, OkSt, KSU and KU, but that's it. But, honestly now and after we leave the Big XII my thoughts overall are...
