  1. Take the time to go inside to pay for gas. Just tell the clerk to put $20-60 on pump # (x). If you only pump $5, they will only charge you $5. Gas pumps, even at brightly lit, well looked after gas pumps get compromised all the time from douche bag fraudsters. Lock your 3 credit files. It's easy and you can unlock them just as easy before you buy something big. Use virtual cards for online purchases. Bank with someone that offers these and take advantage of it. It costs nothing and will save you headaches like mentioned above. Avoid using your PIN. If you can avoid it, do so. Also, do not share your PIN with anyone, no matter how close of a friend or family member they are. I work in fraud and have gone to countless trials wherein the victims are also family members or acquaintances of the perpetrator of the crime. Other helpful tips: The IRS, SSA, Police, Court, any government agency WILL NEVER CALL YOU. At least for nothing that would require you to pay them or give them any information that would compromise your identity. Ever. The government sends letter, they do not call. They can track a letter, they can't track a call.
  2. The thread seems to promise that pools are "worth it", yet there seems to be a lot of bitching about constant maintenance and shit breaking causing wallets to decrease in size. Are you sure you're not talking about Boats?
  3. I'm guessing the ones you get ain't the ones you want. I feel like that job or being a gynecologist would ruin it for me. "If I see one more cup of coffee..." - Friends That garage door saved the world. Everyone knows that the devil lives in sparkling water, and his darkness was about to be unleashed upon the Earth through this dude's throat until the door miraculously saved us all. Ha-Cha-Chaaaa
  4. Where can one obtain the cap these ladies are wearing?
  5. Special shout out to another freshman, Jordyn Whitaker. She was also clutch last night with a hit in both of her 2 ABs last night. One was the RBI to get us on the board and into the Super Regional. She seemed to be calm and collected and put the ball in play when we needed it. 🤘
  6. This. Two doors and it's on the other side of the room. I sleep like a ton of bricks and have slept through a tornado, yet she doesn't want to wake me. BS, she is lazy and doesn't want to wake herself.
  7. Are these announcers dipshits? Am I wrong?
  8. Let’s fucking go, ‘Horns!!!! 🤘🏼 I’m gonna go smoke some bud, crush some food, open a beer and watch these Longhorns kick some ass. #fuckaduck
  9. The funny thing is, she NEVER flushes at night, but choose to then. She says she doesn’t want to wake me up. It’s the quietest toilet they make.
  10. Ok... It’s your worst nightmare. You’re peacefully sleeping then, suddenly, your brain kicks on and the thought ,”Did I just hear something/someone in my house?” The dog at the foot of the bed picks up her head and begins a low growl. (Fuck.) Opening your eyes into darkness only to see a light glowing from your stairwell. (Fuck me.) Call out daughter’s name no answer. (No pics) Call out again, while grabbing my pistol, no answer. I get out of bed, and slip on my shoes. Wife wakes up and asks what I’m doing. I reply softly that the dog and I heard a noise downstairs and I see a light moving around. She replies, “Holy Shit!” I put my left index finger to my lips and my Heart is pounding. I slowly turn my head to look down the hall. Nothing there but still see the light trembling in the dark. I start creeping down the hall foot over foot like a Navy SEAL. I check my daughter’s door and slowly look in to see that she is still sleeping, but I hear another, much louder noise. My Maltese-Poodle mix is right by my side not moving a muscle and focused on my movements. Gun is ready and so am I, as I cautiously peer down the stairs and hear a door open and close hard!! Heart is pounding hard. My eyes follow the light and I can see that it’s an LED nightlight that my daughter had placed precariously on a shelf by the stairs that had fallen and turned on causing the glowing/moving light. I turn on all of the lights and quickly check my doors and windows. No intruders, but I hear a flushing toilet... upstairs. I go back to our bedroom to see my wife just getting back in bed and this was the exchange: wife: What happened? Is everything ok?! me: Yes. It was the light daughter put on the table, but what the fuck were you doing?!? wife: I had to use the bathroom. me: while I’m walking downstairs with my gun looking for a possible intruder?!? wife: ...I had to pee. What was I supposed to do? me: At the very least, not make any GD noise. wife: tone.
  11. They aren’t playing this game until at least 9pm, would be my guess. May have to move it to Monday.
  12. Stoked that KSU came back and won but wtf was TCU thinking leaving douche bag pitcher in when it was 8-7? Saoaraloos/Schloss fucked that pooch up. What a boondoggle. 🤘🏼
  13. Isn’t he dealing with it? He has a scholarship offer, and will graduate early to enroll in college in the Spring. It appears to be a business decision and despite me hating it, this feels on par with the way athletics is heading. Some kids see the use of their abilities differently than fans or those that don’t have ability. They are recognizing their power and taking advantage of the system. Not what I would do but to each his own. Unfortunately, this is so very true. I like to keep myself blind to it and fool myself into believing that these kids just really love the school and traditions, but elite athletes are trying to do one thing, make the most of their situation. I want them to bleed burnt Orange, but that’s something they will do after their career is over in athletics. Either way, Hook ‘em Jaydon!
  14. Taking my dad to this game. He's old and getting on in years, but he is a die hard Longhorn baseball fan since 1950. He's seen a lot of wins at the Disch and hasn't been able to be back for several years due to health reasons. He has surgery on Tuesday to correct a heart issue, but he was like a school boy when I told him I have tickets. Getting old sucks. Let's get this shit back on track and whip some ass today! Hook 'em Horns! 🤘
  15. Clearly, Tyler, has never been to the game in Dallas and is bitter about it. Nothing beats the game and atmosphere of the Cotton Bowl at the State Fair. I hope it never changes.
  16. A full grown wolf is a massive animal. It is not a large dog. Had an acquaintance that had one he found as a pup and raised it with some huskies. It was the Leonard Davis of dogs. So much bigger and stronger and would fuck you up. Way bigger than most people realize. depending on the breed but...
  17. I liked when they clicked on the search bar in Google and you can see the previous search of “OU sucks”.
  18. "...exited..."? Nice Freudian slip on the way out the door. Thank you very little.
  19. Hey, thanks NCAA, but we’ve been try this for a while now and don’t seem to have much progress. We’ll keep fucking that horse though.
