  1. https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3364755 Only took to the third post: lotoarmy 5:51p, 3/1/23 AG They [NCAA] do, however, march to the tune of the sips. Sips are behind this. Trust me, been there and seen it. They have to derail us, just as they are coming in to the SEC! And, yes, they have that kind of power. Last of the Old Army
  2. I was referring to the milquetoast nature of a DMB track. Edge, it does not possess. And Texas may be the bible belt, but Shenandoah Valley evangelism is the bible ligature. Those folks can make First Baptists seem downright liberal.
  3. Good. The themes are always lame. Let the natural story flow. I used to laugh at the "seasons" of shows like Survivor and DWTS that would be on 2 or three times a year. But you can't argue with a 20+ year franchise that's still going strong.
  4. It has the wholesomeness you get with a population of only 40k and a significant elite college vibe. Not Mayberry wholesome, but Dave Matthews wholesome.
  5. Could be because he's an altruistic soul that wanted to spread the rewards around to all who contributed and continue to build for the future. Could be because he recognized the woeful lack of support his program had previously received and knew it was the only way he could get the basic facilities he needed to compete. Need another title to get further improvements? Need regular reinvestment in all aspects of the program to build a legacy? Won't have these issues at Texas. Bottom line is that Texas betters UVA in every metric when it comes to what can be offered to a D1 basketball coach. The only question is Bennett himself. I don't know enough of his story to have an idea of what is the main motivation. Does he want to be a Mark Few who builds a program to perennial contender through his own success, or does he have an eye on nabbing a blue blood when available? Is he the type of Shenandoah Valley Christian (think Falwell) that would view Austin as Satan's playground? I have no idea. But I do know that absent a personal reason for turning down an offer, Texas will be able to provide anything he desires.
  6. My mother died a year before I was born. Didn't affect me at all.
  7. No matter how good she looks, someone somewhere is tired of her shit.
  8. So I skipped Book of Boba. Do I need to watch the eps with Mando before the new season?
  9. Reading a game thread after a win is always a good way to see who would quit like a bitch at the first sign of adversity.
  10. I see a lot of companionship in those boys. Lot of looks of love and soft touches. NTTIAWWT.
  11. What do they say about the 2024 class that is being discussed?
  12. Overly entitled youths that get away with some serious shit without any repercussions usually require more chances down the road. We'll see how this one plays out.
  13. No. No one here gives a shit about Grandmama Addams. You're the only one that spends all his time on another school's board begging for attention.
  14. Buck up, camper. Sometimes an errant pass accidentally lands on the nose of a guy sitting on the bench in street clothes. Sometimes*. *you hearing me Brock?
  15. Yeah, that response by Oats just got him crossed off my list. That's something you say when the kid gets a MIP or drunk and disorderly, not when there's a body attached. An absolutely shameful comment.
  16. The longer they stay around people, the more likely someone would discover Ellie had been bitten and kill her.
  17. Haven't played the game in over a decade, but the recreation of the ECU/Firefly segment was done so well in every way I was fucking having flashbacks. Nitpick. Graham Greene is never a waste.
  18. The fact you included Fullerton in your first list tells me everything you know (nothing) about college baseball.
